I was not going to watch Idol this year. But then I caught a glimpse of you, stuck around to hear you sing "Satisfaction" and thought, wow, who is that guy? And you kept going. I loved, loved, loved "Ring of Fire" so much so that I could not get it out of my head for days.

Driving in from Albuquerque with two kids and my sister, who is also 50something like me. Staying at the Renaissance Hotel within walking distance of jobing. Hoping for miraculous sighting of Adam there or in the mall area right there. A girl can dream, can't she?
