This was not only a flawless performance, but a fresh take on a classic song that was packed full of Adam's exquisite ability to show emotion. It's amazing how Adam is able to captivate an audience with his remarkable stage presence like no one else can. Plus, the fact he looks hot in a suit can't hurt

It was original and creative, not to mention that your vocals were flawless- as usual Plus I loved the sophisticated look of your suit- you really can pull off that look better than anyone! And also your hairstyle was a great way to switch it up and help to create a very put together look at the same time. You are a star Adam!

Adam, here in Finland it's quite hard to find people who love you as much as i do, but i've already introduced you to all of my friends and i've got them to love you too! I hope that the day comes when i get to see you performing live, maybe here in my country, but if coming to the States is what it takes, i'm ready for the adventure since my dream is to live in the US as an adult. You really light up my day, in fact, you light up my every day! I love your voice and your personality and i hope you get the respect you deserve, worldwide.

If this is the same Laura, I appreciate your perspective, and also believe Adam is a "godsend". I just want to say Hi to everyone on this blog. I joined today, after finding this site. There are now 400 posts on the Newsweek article, but there are a few negative people, mainly jealous men (unlike your wonderful husband) I guess, who have soured the site there, and I was looking for a more positive place to communicate with other Adam fans.
I cannot wait until the tour...like you, I was going to boycott it because I could not cheer for anyone but Adam as the winner. Then.....I grieved for a while, and was SO impressed with how Kris and Adam handled the week after the finale, that I decided I would go. Almost waited too long....Atlanta was sold out, but a got two single seats not together so my friend and I could at least be in the same building with Adam....They are "nosebleed" seats, but I am working on a way to at least get a good look at Adam before it is over!!!

Adam, I've loved all of your performances -- but this one really does it for me, and on a daily basis. (Honestly, you've become something of a "vice" for me ~ my husband & best friends are starting to worry, ha ha).
Must tell you -- I had resolved myself to "refraining" from Idol this season, knowing that I could be getting a ton of work done in the hours I would otherwise spend watching. Well, let's just say, the plan did last for a while ... but my hubby would poke his head into my office, and say -- "Laura, you've GOT to see this guy from L.A...... he is THE something special, trust me."
I was sure he was right, being quite the music snob & always having THE coolest taste.
So to make a long a story short, I caved. Thanks to the love of a good husband who wouldn't let me miss out on you, he would DVR every show. And one night, I stayed up late and watched for hours, falling into your trance, more and more with each performance.
I know I'm getting verbose -- but one of the reasons I feel so connected to you ... is my feeling that you are an "old soul" and something of a kindred spirit to me. So many of the songs you chose are on the "soundtrack of my life" and hearing your renditions take me back, while simultaneously lifting us into the future. Whether it's your version of this one (by the Brothers Gibb &/or Yvonne Elliman) or Tracks of My Tears ... or B/W, Mad World, any of the others ... you can do it like NO ONE else can.
And your finale with KISS? Don't even get me started. Nor my husband, for that matter -- one of HIS favorite bands of all time, and he couldn't stay off "Twitter" for hours after that show, just wondering what "the kids had to say about THAT one?!"
Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, all. You ARE ultimately cool -- TOO cool for American Idol, in my opinion -- but I am ever-so-glad that I DID watch! We probably won't be seeing you on the Idol tour, since it would be "hard" for us to sit through all 13 and dig it.
