Okay. So this day was a long one for me. And I have a lot of things to say, so I am going to type until my fingers get tired.

FIRST OF ALL; i would just like to say I only bought the tickets to see adam. I spent over $500 total of my own money to get ready for this concert:)

So the day prior- I live in League City. In between Kemah and Galveston. It was going to take us about 5 hours to get to the American Airlines Center. I was totally pumped!! I had bought, fake eyelashes that had blue glitter on them, glitter eyeshadow, blue hair extensions, glitter zebra flats, a HUGE studded belt, a black glittery skirt, earrings (2 pairs) a pair of dangling ones to meet adam in, and studs to jump around at the concert in. ;black nail polish, pink nail art in which i wrote "adam" on. And I made 4 american idol shirts for my mom, brother, my friend and myself. Mine said "I love adam" on front. And the back read "Im a glambert" I wrote my glambert # on my forearms, made a sign that said "Reppin the glitter" and we decorated our car with car paint. WE WERE PSYCHED AND SET. We couldn't have been any more ready. We started our trip at 3pm. Along the way we stopped 4 times. haha. 3 of them for food, and one to walmart. I bought 2 american idol season 8 cds. One with the whole top 10. which included 12 songs, and the other with the top 4 and included 5 songs. (Which imo was the best cd.) And we planned on getting to the AAC at 10am. So we could get a great spot for autographs. So we shelled out $50 on food. haha. for the morning only. pretty sad.

The day of!!- It finally came. We stayed at a Best Western and I made sure we had a wake up call at 7am. hah. With everything I was going to get dressed with, I needed the 2 hours. ha. (BTW- i will put pics on here later.) I got all ready and had glitter everywhere and made sure my make up and hair was ada-fied enough. lol. So as soon as I was happy with everything, we were off!

We arrived a little before 10. Making us the third group to be there. I had so much fun. We put the sign that we made in front of us, with tons of blue sequins to follow it. It was like a blue glittery carpet just for adam! lol. The hours passed quickly and I was just so nervous and excited. I didn't eat any of the food we brought. just had a few waters. The ppl who were there before us were amazing. We talked for the longest time. About everything. Her love for Danny Gokey and mine for Adam. It was hilarious and I had so much fun! Then as it got nearer and nearer to 1:30 more and more ppl arrived (which was a good thing. That way maybe the idols will come out!) So at around 2ish. Michael Sarver came out and was like"WHATS UP TEXAS!!" I was so excitedddd!!!!! omg. it was amazing. I brought some poppers and confetti comes out. I brought 3 for adam. But Micheal deserved one just as much as adam would. So i popped it! He was so sweet!!!! He came by, took pics and signed autographs. I told him that i follow him on twitter and send him things all the time and he was like " isnt twitter fun?" haha! i loved him. and he is SO HANDSOME in person!!! :)

Then Scott came out! and everyone cheered for him and he looked in awe of his fans. I mean everyone was SUPERLOUD! haha. Im sure he enjoyed it. I also got his autographs and pics of him. He and his brother were awesome!! THEN-KRIS AND MATT came out. 2 of my favorites!!!! I couldn't believe it. But I was BALLING. I was definitely crying a river. haha. i was like "wow. what if allison and adam come out at the same time?" I would have prolly fainted. But this whole season was amazing and I was totally devoted to it. They were both SO CUTE AND SO NICE! And they both stopped in front of me at the same time and we took a group picture!! I gave Matt like a million hugs. haha. then(!!) The security guard was like, "no more idols are coming out. there are def no more idols coming out." and by this time it was 5pm. It sprinkled every now and then, but that didn't stop anyone who was already out there from signing. Which we were very grateful. But where was adam? and megan? and anoop? those are all of our faves. We were upset. Then the lady I had been standing next to was like "just stay here" so i listened. 20 minutes later danny gokey came out!!! and there wasn't any guards or anything around. he just kinda came out w/o anyone knowing. I was SUPERHAPPY for her. She bought him a gift and everything. He was adorable and so sweet! He gave me a hug, her 4 hugs and just took pics nonstop. I was so grateful and happy that these idols came to sign. As soon as it was just getting started, it turned to 5:30 and the gates were open. We decided to go in. Because there were DEFINITELY NO MORE IDOLS coming out before the show. I was bummed about not being able to see adam after being there all that time. But- I still had after the show!!
So we went in. I bought 2 t-shirts. One with Adams face on it. lol. and another with the whole group on it. I bought a glowstick. A group picture. and like 6 individual posters. I was satisfied. Now lets get to the good stuff...THE CONCERT.
I have read a lot of ppls reviews and they are pretty much all within the same range. Matt brought a lot to the stage and from there it only got better. Allison was amazing. (She and I are the same age) I was so proud of her. showing her real personality on stage. She did a really really good job. I was impressed. Then, danny was on and it was just a countdown from there. then.....ADAM!!!!!!! The Texas crowd went crazy for him. He and Kris were like the only ppl who got screams. It was odd. I was so happy!!! I was dancing, singing, headbanging, throwing my fists in the air. I was happy! The ppl behind me though, almost made me want to kick them. The whole time. they were like "Get off the stage!" and "****" I was like. excuse me? They were so annoying. and earlier on they were mad at me for screaming loud....anyway. I am better than that. So I will not even talk about it. I was satisfied with it, and I was amazed at how everyone looked and sounded in person. Its completely different. Its weird. lol.Then Kris came on and sounded AMAZING. Then, after talking to him earlier on in the day and listening to his soulful and powerful voice, I could see how he could have won. I am now mutual about the whole voting thing. I have always enjoyed Kris. But to me, Adam has always stole my heart. I was happy with it. But it just seemed to be over so soon. Like all of a sudden we heard Michael, and then again we heard him at the very end? It didn't seem like it lasted 3 hours. Which it did. It was just so quick. It was odd.
AFTERWARDS---we ran outside. I was not going to leave w/o meeting adam! The concert ended at 10ish. We got there at about 10:30. Bc just so happened, we were at the top:(
We were in the very back! There were TONS of ppl. TONSS... I mean, earlier that day was not even half of the ppl who were there afterwards. The guard told us that this is the biggest crowd this arena has had so far. (I dont know if I believe that or not) anyway though. Me and my brother got so tired. And were about 3 lines back. It would have been only a miracle if we had gotten anything. We left at 11:30. Getting us home by 5am. It was a long day and I was happy to be home. I was very upset about not being able to meet my idol. But I guess there are other times? Come to find out, today as I was reading on here, someone met them at like midnight? wow. I was actually upset to hear that. I mean I was SO CLOSE. But I give myself an E for effort. And I am totally happy to have met those idols that came out before. That night, I got home and read all their tweets about Dallas. They fell completely in LOVE with us!! congrats guys!! michael, scott, matt, kris and a few others said things like "the fans were awesome" "great audience" "amazing crowd" and matt said that he hopes to see us again soon and that we were a great date!!! Anyway, in closing, Thank you guys. yall have been a great audience.
