Ok im so glad he came out... i bet it makes his life so much easier now! I hope! Well the interview was nice and i know he was completeley honest! Adam Mitchel Lambert rocks and is so sexy! He has a HUGE carreer in front of him after the tour is over! He completley out shines the other nine contestents!
You sparkle like a diamond in the desert sun. So many unimaginative people out there who want to put you in a neat little box, defined and labeled, and safely put away. You are joyfully engaged with the adventure of life, and your bringing your playful energy and your creative intelligence to the public consciousness is a beautiful thing.
I've read a lot of my contemporaries commenting, "He makes me feel 14 again," and so on. I think what they mean is that feeling of being fully alive. It is our birthright, as any laughing baby could tell you. Thank you for reminding us of that.
One of my favorite things about you as a pop idol, is how unpredictable your performances have been. I enjoy your interviews for the same reason.

Not just the songs those lips shape, or the smiles they form, but also the wonderfully funny quips they've quopped. You crack me up, Mr. Lambert.
I loved the piece although I thought it focused just a bit too much on the sexuality thing and too little on his talent. There are parts that were not included in the finished piece (such as their interview with his brother Neil) that are available to see on You Tube. The guy that interviewed Adam was a little on the creepy side....but Adam, as always, was entertaining and articulate, open and honest and displayed his 'tongue in cheek' sense of humor that I have come to love. Love his Mom too! She's awesome!
BTW the link you have here goes to the current 20/20 episode...you need to include the entire url to link back to Adam's story.
But this one is even more edited....so I would suggest checking out You Tube...there is a longer version there that includes some things that were cut from what aired on 20/20.
Just watched the interview.
Again, Adam has come across as an honest and sincere young man. It's a shame he missed out on some of the ""normal" high school experiences, but there are a lot of folks out there who did as well.
Perhaps when he's ready, he could do a speaking circuit to highschools across the country to let others know that it's ok to be gay, and they don't have to hide.
I know my own son is currently in the closet, and too afraid to admit it even to himself. I have gay friends, and thought I don't want to stereotype, I see all the signs. I, like Adam's mom, want to give him time to come to grips with who he is and realize it's ok.
I won't be able to get to any of Adam's shows this time around, but hopefully when the tour for the album comes along there may be a stop in Calgary? That would be just too cool. There are a lot of fans here who just wish we could have voted.
Why aren't we getting all appearance updates on this thread? If this is truly AdamOfficial then the keeper of the AdamInfo should be on top of these things.

Rolling Stone mag was hard to find...hard to believe here in the music capital of the world..Austin, Tx...but it was worth the quest and the wait. That interview showed a lot of his personality....he is just so down to earth and so humble..........and it just makes him even sexier!
This paragraph below is a post I made on the message boards but I thought it applies well to this review so I am going to post it again:
I was watching it (20/20) and he was asked about girls being crazy for him and in love with him and the interviewer asked him "Are bi-sexual or bi-curious?" Adam said "Bi-sexual....no. Bi-curious....yes." He said he has made out with girls for fun, usually when a few drinks were involved, and he said something along the lines of.... "Who knows, maybe it will go further some day....who's gonna be the lucky lady?"
Loved the interview...It was nice to see how loving & supportive your mom is! Caught the little preview there of the songs your working on for your CD. Awesome as always!! I (and my 15-year old daughter) cannot wait until it comes out!
I am one of your American Idol fans and most of my blogging is on that page. I'm just getting started here. I Love You regardless, if you are gay. It's not like I'm ever going to touch you, I just want to believe that you are not when, I sleep at night and see you in my dreams. You have to live for you and not for anyone else. We only have one life to live. I don't understand what the snake and the butterfly means, I'm wondering if it means something?
