Adam could look like Quasimodo and still awe you with his voice...or...he could sing like Roseann Barr and still stun you with his looks!! Regardless of whose face or voice he reminds one of.....HE remains the WHOLE PACKAGE!!!
You couldn't have explained it any better. Why some want to jump on others for comparing Adam to anyone is beyond me. It is definetely a complement when compared to Elvis or Freddie! ( two of my personal favorite entertainers.) We all Love and Adore Adam and understand that he is his own man.......having other performers to compare him with is no offense to him or his talent. I have to say Adam has the sexiest personna to hit the entertainment world since Elvis.
Re: looking like Elvis, I was just referring to this photo... I agree, usually Adam doesn't look like Elvis. Saying he looks like Elvis in this photo is a complement. Of course Adam is his own person and unique in all his performances and in real life. By the way, on Entertainment Tonight a couple nights ago, the interviewer told Adam that many people compare him to Elvis. Adam said he has heard this since early on during American Idol and he is honored to hear this because, Adam said, Elvis was a good looking and talented man...
Some people also compared Adam's voice with Freddie Mercury from Queen because of his great range etc. Again, that is a compliment because Freddie Mercury is considered to have had one of the best singing voices of all time... But that does NOT mean that these people think Adam is a clone of anyone. These are nothing but very high compliments.
