Drove down with the same two sweet Glamberts I went to the Seattle, WA, GNT show with the night before, as passengers. We waited in line all day, first in the scalding sun, then in the cool shade. We had lots of fun in line & met some cool Glamily we didn't know. I bought 2 awesome Adam-y necklaces a fan made in Seattle & featured them again tonite. The GA admission meant sardine packing (like the night before in Seattle, WA!). . .but this is an incredibly gorgeous venue with super-high cielings, a lovely balcony . . .but unfortunately no air conditioning or even fans. It was stiflingly airless & hot!

The venue folks did spray us with cold water bottles when they could which helped. A few of us managed to find 'water runners' - people who would accept say $5 to go buy us a $2 bottle of water & try to squeeze through the masses to get back. These precious drops were shared with friends & usually we got one long slug if we were fortunate. We'd shown we'd brave the desert with a ballroom ceiling for Adam! I had managed to get right near center between rows 2-3 from the stage again.(same as night before basically).

Seriously felt like I might pass out a few times, from the mass of sweaty, deliriously happy body pressing in on me. Was bittersweet to have Tommy back after he'd had to leave the night before since he lost his Dad. Adam, the band & the dance troupe all gave their all. BB sang his heart out & nailed every song. We all boogied & danced hard. I was a bit wiped out from two GA shows in a row, but still had a blast! The WLL encore was outragously bluesy &sexy, again!! (had one night before) Made some wonderful Glamily & Adam memories & would do it all over, even though I certainly don't prefer GA gigs.

I went to this show. The venue was HORRIBLE. The stage too low and the venue had absolutely no good ventilation. It was 100 degrees in there. It was miserable. Adam was worth it - he sounded amazing and did all the songs I was hoping for. I just KNOW he could have sold out a bigger venue though. I wanted to see more theater - more stuff that I know he could do to really make the set just as impressive as he is.

The venue took away from his abilities for sure. But, I realize the economy stinks and he is starting out smaller - that only makes sense.

I stood in 100 degree indoor stagnant air for him - and if I had to do it all again, I would - he was so amazing and did not disappoint.

Do NOT ever to this venue though unless you really like the act. Its not worth your time - its miserable.

Adam could stand inside a cardboard box, yet sing the stars out of the sky; his voice is that powerful, amazing, and beautiful. He is the ultimate entertainer; enthralling the crowd with gorgeous songs and glorious moves.

And thank goodness Adam is SO magical that all eyes are glued on him and all ears are tuned to him, because the VENUE (Portland's Crystal Ballroom) was ATROCIOUS!

Hot, crowded, standing room only; the Crystal Ballroom is NOT the venue for some of Adam's most rabid fans: real live adults. Visibility was horrendous. Intent on building your calf muscles? Try standing on your toes for 3 hours to get a glimpse of the performers!

Besides that; the Crystal Ballroom is just one darn scary place: cramped tight stairways, few exits, sweltering hot, and the feeling that you are wrapped up in the attic with great Aunt Myrtle's dusty Persian rug.

Would I see Adam in concert again?

In a heartbeat! And a fluttering, flushed, excited heartbeat at that!

But would I ever attend ANY event at the Crystal Ballroom again?

Not in THIS Mad World!

I'm already giving you 5 stars in advance Adam!

So excited for tonight's show. I surprised my mom with tickets for her birthday (the big 7-0) - even at 70 she's still beautiful and super-cool - and even more excited than I am about seeing Adam (if that's possible).

I said Mom - he's gonna be a bit more wild than on Idol....she said "that's what I love about him - he's unique, he's amazingly talented - and he's himself". Enough said.

You ROCK Adam!

Hey! If anybody knows if Adam has been coming out before or after shows, let me know! And in order to actually meet him, do you have to get VIP tickets or do you just have to get there early enough? thanks

Ticketmaster does not have anymore tickets for this but the Crystal Ballroom does. It's ticket site is at http://www.teamonetickets.com/buy/985041/adam-lambert-tickets.html

They are going fast though. I had a heck of a time trying to deal with ticketmaster. Just use the Crystal site. Nice venue. Have been there many many times over the years.

Scalpers suck!! Tried unsuccessfully for 2 days to purchase tix on line for this. Now the show is "sold out" and there's tons of tix for sale on Craigslist, etc....for twice the price. Sigh....

I was so excited to see that you are coming to Portland. I just hope I will be able to get tickets, cuz I hear they go fast when they come up for sale. My birthday is May 30, I will be a young 59, and getting tickets to see you would be the only and best present I could get. I keep checking every day but they haven't come up for sale yet. I will be watching you on Ellen and Jay. I will be recording the shows, then I will add them to my Adam tape. You are amazing and this is just the beginning you have a long career ahead of you. My husband and I have never seen any performer with your amazing voice and stage presence. I can't wait to see you perform in person!!!!!!! Smiling OH HAPPY DAY

fruitloop624

Is this for real? This site does not let us see any event info, and we cannot buy tix, either. Plz fix!
