Hi Adam,

Like most, I was on the edge of my seat all season waiting for your over-the-top performances. I'm 45 years old. Married with 6 kids, ages 3 to 18.
As I read all the wonderful things people have to say, I find myself in complete agreement.
So at the very real risk of being cliche and repetitive, here I go.

First of all, congrats on a fine season and being such a driving force for the show this year.
I have been an American Idol fan from the start. I have seen my favorites not get the votes they needed year after year. People like Malinda Doolittle, Chris Daughtry, and yes, Clay Aikin, were obvious vocal titans compared to the rest. Like you, they were not meant to be the,"American Idol." So what! You made every episode an adventure for millions of people each Tuesday night. You took us to a fairytale land where the world feels good, and dreams come true. All of us on this site have been moved by you Adam. As you can see, you transcend through age, sex, and cultural barriers as if they were nothing but a distant memory. Your talent and charm are something to behold. Your graciousness in defeat was genuine; and also one of the reasons you are going to be such a huge international megastar. I was smitten the first time I heard you sing and said, "Adam's my pick!" It wasn't long before the whole family was on the edge of their seats every Tuesday night waiting for the real show to start when your name was called. I've downloaded all your music available to this point. My ipod has an Adam Lambert playlist so I can play your music to my friends. Or anyone who will listen.LOL
After you sang (Ring Of Fire) I turned to my wife and said,"This guy is on his way to megastardom. I hope he's ready for "BEATLES" like receptions where ever he goes."

I'm not down on American Idol. Who knows how long it would have been before you were discovered. Thank god for American Idol I say.
Clay Aikin and the rest of the haters are on a different page than us. They were never going to be part of this fantastic journey you're taking us on. To them I say, " Sorry you could not see the inspiring deepfelt performances in the way the rest of the planet did. Maybe you don't carry the right gene for being able to spot talent. In any case, I doubt the rest of us will even notice that your not here."

I saw a blog somewhere that said you should keep your friends close, as there are going to be many coattail hangers that will want things from you. But please don't forget that there will also be many people that only have your best intrests at heart. I for one, want you to soar with the stars! The blog went onto say,"Stay grounded." I don't think this will be a problem for you, as you seem to have oak like roots. Which is evident every time you open your mouth. Example, "When we found out we could do Led Zeppelin, it was a happy day." You were obviously talking about the band and you. They Loved you too! Everybody could tell the band and you were on the same page every week: and that they felt like they were in on the ground floor of the Skyscraper that will soon be your career.
All of the fans you have collected so far are in on the early stages of the world wide breakout career of one of the most gifted and likable talents ever.

Take care of yourself Adam, and know that your hard work and genuine kind soul, make the world a better place for us all.
Your fans are the kind of people that want a better tomorrow for everyone; and we look forward to your music to help lead the way.

In closing, just let me say,"I will always love you and your music! You have reached into my soul and brought out the best in me."

I have listened to the first two songs from your album. I find both to be a delight in that they show two different sides of you. I can't wait to hear the rest of your CD! How many sides does Adam have? Let me count.....Can't do it.....To mind boggling...Just know that I think you're an amazing artist with incredible showmanship. Here's to the world Idol....ADAM LAMBERT!!!!
