I want to be there early....I bought e-tickets through another vendor (other than TIcketmaster) and am having these little stress attacks that they will not be valid or something. Then I really will need that drink!

My daughter and I were at the Glam party in Indio too although we aren't from Alberta....we're from San Diego. We had a blast too! All the food and great people! Loved the videos. This time I'll be with my husband...his birthday present to me. I'd love to know if anything is going on too. I'm also definitely over 40 . I hope this time Adam plays the new stuff, talks more, and has an encore....that would be so cool!

My sister and I are going (both over 40... going on 20). My husband had to bail on me and so I'm taking my sis for her birthday.
I went to the Indio concert and had a great time at the pre-concert party.....was wondering if there is anything planned similar for Vancouver?
I was so taken back by the loveliness and friendliness of everyone we met and would love to experience that again.

A lot of tickets for sale for Boulevard show. Check out Ebay. With Ebay, what you see is what you pay - no surprise broker fees, or shipping fees.
There are still some so called "business people" asking stupid prices. I see the auction tickets are for sale - with meet and greet. They are asking a mere 1500.00 each. LOL. Not for the average bloke. Anyway, I have my tickets for both shows now, and very excited. Hope to meet some AO fans there.

I so wanted to go to see him as my 35th Birthday Gift for me but, I won't be getting the extra hours at work as promised in order to put money aside to attend Vancouver. I'm quite disappointed and sadden by this. I know he'll be amazing!!!!

tickets ARE NOT going for a thousand bucks...just because some guy posts them for 1000 or a 1750 on ebay or stubhub doesn't mean he's going to get it, especially when tickets are still selling for 140 to 150 avg WHICH IS NORMAL FOR ANY CONCERT.

@missyyumyum, it doesn't matter who paid for the ticket, or who's name is on the e-ticket. as long as you're over 19, you'll be fine. you should get the receipt from whoever bought them though. paper e-tickets can always be photocopied, hence multiple copies for one seat. i am glad you are going and found tickets. they are out there, at reasonable prices.
And to the rest of you complaining about the size of the venue, think of it this way; adam is still new, and building hype. and it's working. there is no way he could sell out bc place yet, the lower mainland sucks for venues. maybe dates were a problem too. everyone stop freaking...get yourself a ticket, and go...and if not, he'll be around again. he's going to be around a long time.

I got 2 tickets for the river rock show, 150 each row j, which is much more reasonable than alot of the prices out there. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for better seats around the same price, and if I do I'll sell these tickets for the same amount.

some tips for those still trying to get reasonably priced tickets..
Keep checking ebay. I checked ebay and craigslist several times a day, and twice so far tickets were being auctioned starting from a dollar. Nice and fair.

I could've gotten 3 tickets for 400 dollars, row j left center i believe, works out to 133 a ticket (and would've sold the 3rd ticket same price), but I neglected to check the end time so i lost it =( kicked myself a few times.
But luckily i kept checking and an auction came up for 2 tix and i got it!!

A few days ago, a posting went up on craigslist for 2 tickets row B! 350 for the pair!! i contacted them same day the posting went up and they already had a buyer.. boo.

anyway, keep checking adam fans!! It's going to be an awesome experience.

I also have a question for whoever can answer it...
I've never been to a concert or bought tickets off someone else before.. They're ticketfast tickets and has someone else's name on it. Is this going to be a problem? because since it's 19 plus they are going to be checking ID.

Today, I checked Ticketmaster again around 5:00 p.m. To my astonishment, there was single tickets for sale. I got one. I am sooooo glad. I will be travelling from Ottawa, Ont. to Vancouver...... Yes. flight is more expensive that the performance ticket, but eh! it's worth every penny.

Anyone from this region attending?

When I bit the bullet and paid the scalper price I knew I wouldn't have any regrets, and after watching the Fantasy Spring videos... Hell, even if he only sings "Whole Lotta Love", the way he did in Indio, it will be worth every penny.

Honestly both theatres are so small (almost embarassing for him to play there, smaller than some venues he did before Idol) any seat you get will be good. Fantasy Springs is nearly 4 x the size of both Vanouver venues. I don't know if we will ever see him in this kind of setting again. Like someone said, why they didn't book him at Queen Elizabeth is beyond me but for the extra few bucks (have to take into account the USD and CAD exchange rate) there are some prices that are not that much more than Ticketmaster was and really months later, are you gonna remember you went into debt to see him or remember how you were in the same room and saw him live.
I really think this will be one of those things you will tell your kids like my mom told me she saw Elvis when he came to Vancouver...
I paid STUPID prices for both concerts from Ebay and Stubhub. I even have 2 extra tickets for sale cause I'm a geek and bought closer ones at Red Robinson and have the originals for sale.

Why cant adam do a show at GM place or something? or B.C. place. (even though the sound sux!) and ya know, it should be 14+ so all the happy-go-lucky-we-lov-adam teens can go and cheer our little heads off to our hearts content! yeah, that would be something.

@Mikimiki - Wow, you are extremely lucky to have gotten tickets yesterday from ticketmaster. I have tried a couple times every day for each of those concerts, and have had no luck getting one ticket. You must have horse shoes up you know where.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. i got tickets from ticketmaster yesterday for the river rock show, in the golden circle. ticketmaster releases tickets every few days. i bought a pair from scalpers for row d for 250 each for the coq show as well. you wanna play, you gotta pay. scalpers have been around forever, it's a fact of life. if you look on stubhub, you can get 2 golden circle tickets for 140 each. if you pay thru ticketmaster, you're paying taxes and it nets to 112 per tic, so you're paying an extra 18 bucks for a better seat anyway. so why are you all complaiing? you wanna go, go buy a ticket.

@Cos2mwiz - absolutely correct! It is not the American fans, nor Canadian fans - It is the ticket brokers/scalpers, who are from USA, and Canada. Fans Rock!!!!! Love ya neighbour to the south!

For those of you who blame us "greedy" Americans, it's the ticket brokers from both countries, not the American Adam fans that caused this bs. Nearly all the American Adam fans are in the same boat...at the mercy of the scalper prices. The brokers have software that gets past all the captcha and other hurdles put in the way of the average Joe attempting to call in.

My suggestion is that AO takes action and starts a fan club system with personal codes for selling tickets which might actually give the fans first shot at them. Something obviously has to be done or this will be the result every single time, no matter the size of the venue.

If it makes you feel any better, at least you Canadians are able to attempt the auction. It's not available to anyone else...and NO doubt a broker will get hold of a pair of those too. : (

@1missyumyum Sorry I don't but i feel like an idiot now. the April 9 one i could have had 2 single tickets right from TM but did not take them since I had two decent seats already.
I seem to have been lucky so far. If any other concerts come up I will buy extra tickets because everyone here is a true fan who does not deserve the crap these scumbags are putting you through.

Feel like I have just been at war. Managed one single ticket, then lost it because system wouldn't take my card! While on phone to cust. service, raising all hell, managed to pull up my ticket I lost, and this time card went through! It was meant to be! Was on the phone before I went to on line, and clerk told me sold out as soon as they went on sale!

I wanted to bring my daughter to Adam's performance but she is 14 1/2.
The venue ( R.R. Theatre) is 19+
My daughter has been through 6 months of testing at B.C. Children's Hospital, has been unable to attend school because of illness & I just wanted to give her something to look forward to ( she is a big Adam fan -me too ) . Seeing Adam would have brought her so much joy & distraction from constant pain.
