At 5:00pm the day of the gig, I decided a "night out" for myself was overdue. Friends (luv 'em!) had been telling me for weeks they'd keep my mom company IF I decided to go - mom is 86 years old and I'm her 24/7 "caregiver." Luckily, the Mellon Arena is only a 10-minute drive from my apartment. I bought one ticket at the box office - had a FANTASTIC seat (Sec B5) a few rows up from the floor/right side of stage.
Adam was simply... "THUD!!!!!" Yep, that sums it up! LOL
After the show, I HAD to witness the "barricade madness." I enjoyed watching 9 out of 10 Idols, including Adam, go thru the massive crowd (1000+ fans as calculated by me and another woman I was chatting with) for about 90 minutes. Yeah, I'm still hitting myself in the head for not taking a camera or my Rolling Stone Magazine! Oh well, it was amazing just being there!
The concert ROCKED. Adam was a TRUE performer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a total sweetheart on and off stage.....were all lucky to have someone like him....Independent, funny, great voice! and a whole awesome package of things too many to name!
You rocked the stage time and time before, this time before our very eyes!
I can assure anyone this WILL NOT be the last time i ever see him IN CONCERT
Adam was sooooooooo FREAKING GOOD!!!!! He was the best singer and and MAN CAN HE DANCE!!!!!! After he got off the stage I was sooo mad. I wanted to hear him sing more!!! I was screaming soooooo much the next day i couldnt even talk!!!!!! And at the end of the show I stayed to get his autograph!!!!!!! He is even more HOTTER IN PRESON!!!!!! And I got his autograph and pictures!!!!! THANKYOU SOOOOOOO MUCH ADAM FOR THE AUTOGRAPH!!!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!
OMG i was screaming my head off when adam came on stage and i wanted alot more of adam i was like ok i need more adam! I almost didnt have a voice by the time adam got off stage. He is BEAUTIFUL in person! My friend and i absolutily LOVE Adam! I got to meet him after the concert too i was freaking out i was telling my friend ADAM LAMBERT IS A FEW INCHES AWAY FROM ME RIGHT NOW. I was totally starstruck! I really hope adam comes back to Pittsburgh for a solo tour that would be amazing. I had the time of my life on 8/22/09. I love ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!
Adam is incredible, adamazing, awesome and more than even these words can describe. The others were good but I was just waiting through the performances for Adam who is phenomenal. When Danny was on I felt like crying just getting so emotional that Adam was next and when he finally came on I felt so much excitement and energy and just was captured by his talent and presence, it seemed like I was in a trance. I still cant belive I really saw Adam live and it was over way too fast. I wasnt sure about going to the concert since I only wanted to see Adam so thought I would wait until his own tour but I am so glad I went since a few songs from Adam is way worth it. I cant wait for all that is next from Adam, his cd, his own tour and years of continued success for the brightest star in the house last night. Thank you Adam.
i have to honestly say ive been ur fan from the begginning and i freaking love u!!!!!!!!!! ur concert last night in pittsburgh was amazing just like u !!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhh i love u!!!!!!!! love~kaaitlyn
I cannot wait until Saturday. I don't know if we will be able to get any autographs. I suggest going to where the buses are parked after the concert. I heard that someone got autographs last years doing that. This is going to be soo amazing. Guys let me know who all is going.

Adam, I am so incredibly excited to see you in concert! I really do love Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry, but I have to admit that you're the only one who's ever really driven me wild. Your voice is AMAZING! I've got seats right up near the stage. Sign me an autograph! I love you!

Nothing will keep me away from this show!! I have a wedding to attend on the 22nd but I am leaving early for the show. I may miss the festivites but I will see Adam and all the other idols. I hope to get to meet you Adam... I have great seats so I am going to do my best to meet you!! You are truly inspirationaly for thia generation and for us older folks we now have someone we can admire as well.
My mom and I are driving about 2 hours to Pittsburgh to see Adam together! We cant wait since we watched the show apart as she lives in Az. I am 37 and she is 58 and we are so excited!

Although I am also very fond of Allison and read recently a statement you made that you and Allison will be doing Slow Ride on the show. That's the icing on the cake for me. I'm what you would call a "Senior" Rocker but a rocker just the same and you have certainly rocked my world.
