This is one show I will never forget. Adam was stunning in every way! I just can't say enough about that beautiful voice <3. I cannot wait to see him on his own. His voice gives me chills! I also was able to get his autograph...was the highlight of the night!

This is the word to describe Adam's performance! After the show, although we weren't able to take fan pics, Adam was one of the few Idols who came out to sign autographs. I asked to get apicture for the class that I teach( they are high school special ed students who enjoy AI . It gives them something to talk about with others their age so I encourage it) although he couldn't grant the request, he was super nice about it and told me of his short time limit as he huriedly tried to sign as many autographs for people as he could. That was really nice and he didn't have to do a thing. I at least got to go back to my class and tell my students that. I got some pictures from the concert which I shared with them and they know I'm a fan so they were excited by the pics and for me! The whole night was Super fun and I'm all about that!!

i was their and it was the best night of my life. i loved his dancing and freaked out when he took his coat off and all he had was that sleevless vest on =]

I loved the show and wouldn't miss it. I waited so long to see Adam live. Everybody sounded so good. Adam and Allison rocked. I really can't wait to see so much more of Adam. I love Adam so much. I don't know about the meet and greet. I really wanted to be part of that as well but, my boyfriend said he was going to work the next day. He wanted Adam to know just how dedicated to him I've been. I had people at work vowing to vote for him. I stayed up all four hours voting continuously. My boyfriend and family members voted back to back. I didn't even go to work the next day. I saw the concert Wed. and didn't go to work . I went to work Fri. and co workers left the newspaper clipping on the table which read....Lambert wows Palace crowd By Adam Graham he said Detroit is Adam Lambert country. He said Adam earned the lion's share of the applause from the spirited audience. I was there and he did he got the loudest chanting, cheering and screaming it was so electrifying.

Adam is so gorgeous! Starlight was magical, Slow Ride was perfect, Fame was cool. He has such stage presence. Adam is such a star! Most everyone was there for him. Adam puts on such a good concert for his fans. He is so engaging. Adam wasn't too risque, either, so I wasn't uncomfortable--I didn't have to worry about my niece being there to see his performance. Loved his long hair--I didn't know what I was going to do when he ran his fingers through it!

ADAM WAS AMAZING!!! Even more amazing up close and personal. He signed my Rolling Stone mag. I am still floating on air!!!!!

and Adam did not disappoint. We got "woomaaannnn" and "backdoor man", plus some new interesting moves. Only one item thrown onstage, and I'm not sure what it was since I was watching Adam. Didn't get to wait at the barricades because the people I was with had to get up so early in the AM for work, but Adam DID come out and sign.

for relaying the info. So I guess it doesn't make sense to get there any earlier than 3:00 right? According to Michael, they usually arrive at the venues around 1:00. So I wonder if they will arrive later than usual, or if the gate attendants will allow only them in at that time. I'm thinking about tweeting Matt and Michael when it gets closer to the 26th and see if they know how it will all go down.

It's been torture watching all these videos! My anticipation for Adam has grown to the boiling point! I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE HIM!

Talked to South gate attendant 2 day and found out no 1 can get in any earlier than 4 hrs b 4 show most of the time, sometimes later. The tour buses do enter and exit the South entrance which is on 24 South bound JUST b 4 the i75 on ramp. This entrance is also for general parking.
I'm getting so excited! Less than a week till we get to see Adam live. Everyone who sees me, that is attending, will be able to tell which Idol I am a fan of..... but I think all are great!

I will be checking, very soon, with the South gate Attendant about the time we can get in that day ( I am only 10 min away from Palace) I will let everyone here know as soon as I find out.

He said his colors are blue, silver and, lots of black... with glitter all over. That is what I will be wearing to the concert! He also said meet & greets after the show and I also have the mag. with him on the cover. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will sign it. I cant wait.

I can't wait. I just bought tickets online today. I am up in the 200's and wish that I could be closer, but just being there and seeing/hearing Adam live will be totally awesome. In the past when I wanted to meet a rockstar, I just hang out after the show and they will tend to come out for autographs and photos then. Also, if you can hang near the bus, you can usually catch them there. Adam made it sound like there would be some type of meet and greet yesterday on the Live Comcast Chat. I can't wait.

Hey Guys-we may try the after the show-with my 2 Nieces-as we want to go to the Great lakes Mall-'Rain Forest Cafe' just 10 min up the street before the show-but would come early if Adam or other are allowed to tell us of any earlier meet n greet-as the girls are counting on the impossible & I'd get them there if the Palace would let us in-which has never been my expierience before a show there! The only time I ever got to see an Artist(not at the Palace) before or after a show-was with Prince-who was kewl like that & he hooks me up anytime-I'mma sooo Spoil't with all his front row seats he's given me! I don't mean to brag-nor expect that from any other-I'm just blessed that prince trust's me like that-but maybe like at the Great lakes Crossing Mall(10 min away) if Adam & the others have like a few hrs. before rehearsing to have a 10 mile line (LOL!) to sign autographs. OK! I know it sounds Crazy! but who needs sleep-with soo much Life to Live! Forgive my Pitch!

hey guyz..i just want to let you know that I went to the american idol concert last year at the joe louis..and instead of being rushed and getting there early to meet them. I stayed after the concert and they came out to meet everyone and sign autographs!

This is the first time I have actually wanted to go to an AI concert, and they come to the Palace every year. My husband actually said he would go too, even though he hates going to concerts (how did we end up married???). He said Adam is the reason he would want to go because he is amazing! Thanks, Adam for getting my husband to go to a concert with me I know we're going to love it!

To socks4u: Thank you for all the info, but I'm confused. Everyone on the AI forums said to get there around 12:00 to meet the idols before the concert. Evidently, some venues have really tight security and won't let you in. I'm afraid we'll miss them if we get there at 4:30. Is the parking lot gated and locked so we won't be able to even get in the parking lot before then? I've been there a couple times for Pistons games, but of course did not get there that early.

And yes, I want to really encourage everyone to make a sign showing support for Adam. I'm thinking there will be a lot of Matt fans there since he lives in Mi. but I hope it's us Adam fans who create the most noise!!

On the AI forums, it's been posted that Adams colors are cobalt blue and black. Because of his blue and black plaid shirt, blue in his hair, blue eyes, Black or White song, and blue jacket he wore during that performance. At Claires, they have blue and black striped clip-in hair extentions, buy one or more, reasonably priced. It would be fun if we all wore them in our hair, black nail polish, and someone also posted that at Dollar General and Wal Mart you can get blue glow sticks. Also, ebay has lots of great Adam stuff reasonably priced. I think I'm wearing black jeans and am looking for a cobalt blue halter or top.(I'm not really a t-shirt kind of girl) Anyone else with any info or nifty ideas, please post and try to get the word out!

the buses arrive in the morning. The on ramp entrance is the one the tour buses use. If you are going N. bound on 24 you will come to the on ramp before the Palace stay to the Right. My friend and I might stand out on 24 where the on ramp meets in the morn. to see the buses. After that we will probably park somewhere on 24 and walk over to the south entrance if they will let us in. Parking will not open until about 4:30pm. I may drive down there before the concert to ask the attendant if we will be able to walk in before parking hours open. That entrance is open 24-7 for workers buses and such but, like I said not open to the general pub. until later

I'm going with a friend who's like AMAZING at meeting people at shows. I really hope I get to meet Adam!

I am hoping that you all check back here from time to time. I think it would be great to meet other Glamberts and Adam fans who come to this site. We should meet outside the Palace the day of the concert and get to know each other. I believe the tour bus for the idols comes in at south entrance. We should all walk over and see if they will let us meet Adam. I think we should all wear Glambert shirts and make Glambert signs. I believe it would help us to be able to meet Adam. I know the gates open at 4:30pm for parking but I am going to call the Palace today to make sure. I also have a feeling the buses will be coming north bound on 75 and exiting on 24 from Ohio but I do not know what time. I will leave a rate&review later today to let you know what time the gates open. For Adam Fans who are interested leave a R&R and I will check back from time 2 time. After I call Palace about gates I will leave time & place we should meet (we could meet earlier but we would prob. have to park outside of Palace parking) If you have other ideas please give them.
