I love this song. To me the lyrics are really thought provoking. I feel that it's one person who is torn and confused about their feelings. One minute loving the person and the next hating the person. The musical
part where it all kinda confusing over and over, I love that it fits the feeling
of the song. Adam has a beautiful falsetto - love his voice in this song.
I think it is a sophisticated song that not everyone will like. I give it 5 stars. Broken Open - my favorite - Soaked - second favorite and Loaded Smile - third favorite - love all the rest, too, but partial to the deep ballads.
This track was my early favorite before the album came out, and I'm still in love with it. I was confused at first, because the lyrics do seem to contradict one another, but I fully understand it now.
Adam sang the hell outta this song and Linda Perry is an awesome lyricist!
