Most envied woman in America....Lane!
Lane! Whenever I see that woman, I can't help but envy her! She has been with Adam since American Idol as his handler, and continues to be with him almost every friggin' waking hour of the day, LOL!!! Plus she gets to travel with Adam, go to award shows, parties, go everywhere and all over the world with Adam!!!! How much longer does she get to do this, I wonder! Those two must've formed such a tight bond by now that can't be replaced really! Lane, I want to be YOU!!!! I'll work for half your pay, which brings up another point, how can anyone expect to get paid for this so-called work?!!! LOL!

LOL at this thread, hmmm, yes close to his highness but yes lots and lots of work and time on the road away from friends and family, very demanding.
I think she works for 19 and usually handles the Idols so she might be reassigned when the next winners are crowned
so there might be an opening ladies.........................
I work SO hard for my boss and he's great, but he's NO Adam Lambert. I deal with a lot of garbage and do it with a smile! What am I saying? I'm saying I'm available if Lane needs a little vacay. AND I'll use my own vacation days to cover her...so basically my company will pay me to work for Adam.

@rmg, thanks for reminding us that Lane's job is alot of hard work, and not so glamorous, lol! But really, there are some glamorous aspects, such as attending the award shows and travelling overseas with Adam, attending parties, so I still think she has a pretty good deal there!!!! And I'm still completely envious of her!
Well, I envy her the time she gets to spend with Adam and the relationship she must have with him, but I know I couldn't possibly do her job. Keeping track of details isn't really my forte anyway and to think of trying to keep my mind on details while in the presence of someone as distracting as Adam??? Yeah, I'd have been fired a long time ago.
I'm way more jealous of all the band members. Yes, Tommy has the best job, but really getting to make music with Adam in any capacity would be a rush. And THAT'S a job I might be able to handle since I actually am a pretty damn good keyboard player and can usually keep my mind on the music despite any distraction. Although, my hat is and always will be off to Tommy for being able to continue to play his part correctly after being unexpectedly grabbed and smooched by Adam! Personally, I think my knees would have given out and I'd have landed in a mortifying heap on the floor!
hey!!! i just thought, you know who I'm jealous of?!! those people who got to touch adam in the for your entertainment video!!! not fair! they got PAID to be an extra and touch adam like that? come on i'd do that even if i paid adam. XD

i must be blind 'cause i have no idea who you're talking about. i never noticed her. I'm jealous of ALLISON!! she's had so many good times and close moments with adam, really. >___< and she'll have more when they tour in the summer!
Lane is so lucky...getting to spend every waking hour with Adam! That would be the most awesome job in the entire world! I'm with Judy on this one...i'd pay him!!!! LOL!

Talk about the fly on the wall. Can you imagine the book she could write! It'd be a best seller. Some people have all the luck! Anyway, she's doing it perfectly - she never leaves his side. I wonder if she's a ninja?
@peacefrog: I agree totally!! If any of us had Lane's job, nothing would get done. We'd just want to flail over him 24/7!! But I'd sure love to give it a try!!

@OnePlus, I don't know Lane's last name. In fact, thinking about it, we really don't know much about her at all! Which is really how it should be, and it also shows how good she is at staying in the background, doing her organizing, and letting Adam take the spotlight. I wonder if she will end up staying on working for Adam, lucky gal!
Lane is very lucky. Of course I would love to be his personal assistant. However, I would have to be mildly sedated from time to time to keep from having a heart attack!

Yep, I know Lane is aware of all the comments of her being envied!
It's been a heck of a road for her.....plus now going international too!
We really like her.....she's really neat! ..........and ADAM is a man in his own right regardless!
She keeps the job because she does not tell.
Shame she's handling most of the overseas stuff dreadfully as usual. She may be OK for handling things domestically but the way Adam has been handled around too much of the overseas stuff over the past couple of weeks shows her inexperience and lack of knowledge of different cultures and expectations.
As (or should I say if) Adam becomes bigger, he will need someone with more international nouse. She did a terribly poor job with David A internationally last year and I see things haven't changed.
If I'm not mistaken, she is hired by the record company not the management. David A didn't sign with 19, they passed on their option to sign him.
Hopefully she will move onto this year's runner-up and Adam will be given the handler that his career path potentially (and I stress potentially) warrants and not the make-do "this is the one all the runners-up get" version.
The way AI9 is going I am not convinced that 19E is going to sign a new runner up. Only the winner is guaranteed a contract with them, all others have to hope for a contract and it could be with a different company too. It all depends.
Have no idea what happened with David A. Does he not have a day-to-day manager now? Adam sure will need one beyond May, that need will only increase, so I have no idea how it works, but perhaps nobody new gets signed and so Lane can stay with Adam.
I'd love her job - that is, if I were still single and no kids. The way things are, I'll have to pass. What a bummer.
I think the only hard thing with this job is that you have soooo many stories to tell and because of your confidential position you cannot tell any of them - at least not yet. That must be hard, because I am sure she gets a ton of questions from folks.
Re: being a flight attendant. I actually would prefer to get lucky and have the seat next to him on a flight. Can you imagine what a wonderful hour or few hours this would be. I would have to so behave myself to not engage him the whole time....would not want to have to hear the "I'm off the clock, lady" comment from him. So, I would certainly try to show some restraint, but it would be difficult, I bet.
Yes indeed, Lane has a fabulous job. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a candid conversation with her. After living in such close proximity to our BB every day for so long, I'd love to hear what she would say about him. I think we'd learn that what we see is what we'd get, always.
So in light of the fact that Lane will most likely not be Adam's manager forever....I'm thinking of sending 19 Entertainment an email saying "WILL WORK FOR GLITTER" and seeing how far that gets me.
I'm pretty sure if any of us had that job, nothing would get done, we'd be too busy drooling and staring at BB with googly eyes whilst giggling every time he looked at us.

@Adamis, yes, I would work for free for Adam too, but I would need my meals and accommodation and transportation paid though (wouldn't be able to afford all that!) plus a clothes allowance because I wouldn't want to shame Adam by wearing my present wardrobe, lol!

She definitely appears to be a plus for Adam not to mention it's good to have someone who knows the ropes in the business and can gently guide.

LOL. Great thread. Yeah, she does have a great job. And I do think she enjoys it and Adam. Some celebs are awful to work with, nasty, conceited, ill mannered, tempers through the roof, but Adam seems to be so easy to get along with. She always looks like she'd having a good time. And she's a sweetie. She's the reason I got Adam's autograph on the CD jacket he signed for me at NYC Kradison concert. I told her about winning the tickets to the after party meet and greet on the AI tour and how he was the only one who wasn't there, and I asked if he could sign my CD. He was standing only a few feet away. She would have been perfectly within her rights to brush me off and say he wasn't signing that night (cause he wasn't), but she was so genuinely sweet and accommodating and smiled this big smile and said, "Of course!" and asked me where I wanted him to sign and she brought it right to him and I watched as he signed it. I didn't feel it was right to ask to be able to give it to him myself as that would have started a stampede of fans in her direction. I just kept it on the down low for his sake and she was just as sweet as she could be. When she brought it back to me, she did it with such an attitude of excitement FOR ME, and even stopped to talk with us and ask how we were enjoying the show, and I acted like a complete idiot. That is another reason I didn't ask to bring it to him myself. I didn't want him to ever see me act like a complete tard. I'd rather not meet him than to do that.
So, yeah, she has a great job. And I get the feeling she's really good at it too. She looked so amazed and delighted when she saw the fans at the airport in Tokyo. The look on her face was precious.

she is so lucky! Millions of women are dying just to see him in the flesh, and she gets to talk to Adam, sit next to him, eat with him, travel with him, get things for Adam, follow him everywhere! She is living every woman's dream! I wonder if she realizes how lucky she is!
