Morning- I feel for ya. I was up last night, too. Love having hubby home, but somehow I never end up sleeping well. Gotta love those little naps, though. Morning naps are the best! I bet morning naps for Morning are even better, no?

K- We're leaving next Saturday. We've been in the 40s but today dropped to the 20s with snow. Wish we could send some water your way. We have had enough here.

MD- I hate that computer accessories cost so much. At least you can plug in now. I'm hoping MmmApril means March/April and not May/April.
Fur- I LOVED The Artist. I thought the whole '30's movie plot about movies in the 20s and 30s was so clever. What creativity. I can see why critics loved it, as it really gives a lot of nods to movie history. I haven't been to Red Rock, but I hear it's nice. Just bring the warm clothes, as I think it gets pretty cold there in the winter. You're used to being out in the cold, though, so it should be ok.

@wla - I did get a new foster furbaby on Thursday. Not a basset tho - he's from the animal shelter. Poor thing has some serious health issues so I don't know if he'll ever be adoptable, but he's a sweetie and I know he's happier here that at the shelter so I try not to think much beyond that. http://twitpic.com/8iiaih
I saw A Separation yesterday with a group of people, most of whom loved it but for me, even tho I recognize it's beautifully done, it was a grueling, emotionally draining 2 hours. Good glimpse of life in Iran tho.
Sorry for the lack of shout-outs ... I love all you guys, and it really means a lot to me to be able to come here every day even if sometimes I only lurk. I'm looking forward to catching up on here this weekend.
Hello Lovelies...been lurking but not much time to post lately! My big scrapbook event was last weekend, and am so glad it is done for this year! Son's GF and his BFF have been "unofficially" dating right under his nose and then lying about it, and this week it hit some major peaks. I hope now that he can move on!!!!

So it seems that our boy is now talking a "Mapril" album release...think that he is working on a collaboration for the album that he really wants and the schedules are an issue...I am prepared to wait and wait and wait...just hope it doesn't turn into Auptember-ish!!! And tour looks like a longer wait as well...more time to save up those pennies.....

Mom's b-day was fun. We went to see The Artist, which was so refreshing and clever. Loved it. And we had a nice dinner w/another couple. Tomorrow, I will do my best to make a cake, and then it's b- day celebration part deux.
Source- you and me BOTH wanna be there this weekend to see Vintage Trouble. Bummer that they're done on Sat.
Fur- I know Vegas isn't your thing. Just stay in the hotel and enjoy being lazy. Now, what's this about Adam it knowing when the album is coming out?

I went and read some of the old posts from the last 'concert thread' and realized just how many people don't post on here anymore. Kinda made me sad to tell the truth. I know lots read and don't post, more hang out on twitter rather than here. I still miss the ones who have gone their way though. I simply remember when the thread 'poofed' not long ago, just how many stood up and hollared for it to be brought back. I remembered just how hard @hot fought to keep this thread alive and going. It wasn't easy. Which brings me to THANK YOU @hot for not letting us die off, for being stubborn against all odds back then. With @hot, there have been many right along side her. @ohio and @ cougs come to mind real quick like. Thanks guys.

I made it!! Thank you for your support after my little meltdown this morning. I actually had a good day. I decided to ignore all the cr*p that has been getting to me and just have fun with the children ... yes, k I'm a teacher. The pma must have worked after all.

If I were there this weekend that's where I would be. Can't you fly in on Sat. Instead?? If you haven't seen LOVE, and you can get tickets, it is beautiful. Do you like Elton John? He's there. Or just get a drink and listen to some blues at BB King's blues club. Or, if you want REALLY low key, there is always the Grammy's in hotel room. 
Fur- Crap. Not only will we miss each other in Vegas, but Vintage Trouble is playing all this week... Until SAT. night.
Blue- MD has experience and knowledge in this area. Give it a thought. For now, just think about some down time to catch up. You're day is at the halfway mark already. Just a few more hours to go.
Re: tour, I think he will need to promo for a little while then put together the setlist, staging, rehearsals, etc. So, I would be surprised if his Tresspassing tour starts before fall or winter. Festivals, however, give him a chance to test out the songs etc. I'm hoping he might do a few over the summer.

I think it is all about how the album does and most of the Spring will be promo gigs. Tour maybe late summer and fall. Here's hoping.

K- headache is gone for now. It usually messes w/me for 2 days and nights before riding off into the sunset for a few weeks.
Source- Enjoy time w/your hubby. Mine has been traveling more and more lately. Next weekend, we'll be travelling together which should be nice. He got a 2-for-1 offer for Lenny Kravitz tickets in Vegas. So we are using airline miles and points for hotel and being jet setters for the weekend.
