I'm a fan (and you should be too) because Adam is truly an icon in the making. I never really tuned into American Idol until this year after a few weeks having heard one of Adam’s songs. I immediately became intrigued and developed a desire to learn more about this man and went to the "AI" web site and other sites searching for anything that I could listen to that he sang on the show. I still listen to all the songs over and over and over and they all still have the same effect on me, cold chills, breathlessness, tears, you name it. It’s hard to explain what has transcended me into a little tweener once again adoring this future singing star. This has happened only once before and I was a very young girl when Elvis Presley made his impact on rock and roll and and me. I have not been so affected by any singer since then. I have many favorite singers, of course, and been a fan of many that are truly icons, too, — but Adam Lambert's voice, music, talent, humility, charisma, and sex appeal has put my universe into a tailspin. I can’t wait for his first album because I will be purchasing it no doubt and have become a committed fan.
