I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Adam Lambert is the real deal. He is more than just a talented entertainer and a sexy guy. He knows who he is and what he wants out of life and he is doing the work to achieve his dream. He is doing this without stepping on people around him,but by bringing them up and along.
He embodies love. He is an old soul and a sage with wisdom, honesty, compassion and humour. He is what this world needs now. Look how many of us he has touched in just a matter of months.
Adam got me at his first performance on the show when he honored his mother by performing Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones ( my all time favorite rock group). He went on to enlighten and challenge us with a variety of styles and songs. And he will continue to do so. Thanks Adam for being right here, now!
Almost one year since I posted this and nothing has changed. My love and admiration for Adam Lambert has only grown. Now I have a record to listen to everyday of his own songs and the memory of his first live solo concert performance at Fantasy Springs. I am witnessing the effects he has on other people from diverse cultures. The journey continues and we are all along for the ride!
And so it goes...three very different glamnation shows. a small theatre venue, a large outdoor amphitheatre and an intimate general admission club scene.
I have not felt this passionate about anything in a long time...
