...because there's no legitimate excuse not to be. What's not to love? His stratospheric voice? His mind-boggling sex appeal? Perhaps his wild artistic talent or wicked, sleek sense of style?
I only hear three things from vocal haters: bigotry, false bravado, and envy.
My mother is 61. She attended Woodstock. She knew Iron Butterfly back in the day, and has met such greats as the Rolling Stones. Until Adam came along, her favorite singer was Janis Joplin, who she was lucky enough to see in concert multiple times. Today, she has two favorites... Janis and Adam.
This man has the power to turn an old hippie into a squealing, glam-loving, Idol-dialing fan-girl.
As far as I'm concerned, he's not merely the greatest entertainer ever to come from my own hometown of San Diego... he's quickly become one of the greatest entertainers, period.
