You guys!!!!!! I am so damn cold still.... I think it's going to take at least another month for my toes to thaw out! lol Need more hot toddies by the fire please! Smiling Gather round everyone... gather round...

So, my gift for the Castle is that at about 1:35 in this video, I gave Adam Happy Birthday wishes from the Minions at Adam Official (you can see me talking to him, but you can't hear what I say unfortunately) but when he says "Awwww thank you. YAY" to me? Yeah, that's to all of us bbs!

ANYways, it was a very calm, understated get together of Glamberts in the freezing cold outside of Heat Towers. We should have had electric blankets or something, but instead there was only iPads, mobile phones, and our own persistence keeping us warm.... I showed up at around 4:30pm. He was supposed to arrive at 5pm and @heatworld tweeted to say he was on time, but of course he was about 20 minutes late! lol He is very on-time with his lateness.

There were about 30 people there and that didn't change for the whole hour and a half I was there. The temperature kept dropping as the sun set, the front receptionists started to get nervous about us because we kept inching closer and closer to the entrance trying to keep warm. The whole building has media company offices and people kept coming out from work asking us who we were waiting for. Most of them just kind of said "oh, right", when we said "Adam Lambert" - it sounded dismissive, but honestly, I think most of them were covering for the fact they didn't know who he was! We must change this!!!

Despite the cold, we were all pretty chipper. He whizzed past us, and all I really saw were his sunglasses and his hair. I love how the courier got stuck in the revolving door. Poor guy. Some people tried to stop Adam going in, but most of us had heard his handler say he would come back out. He did say to everyone trying to get his attention that he would be coming back to talk to us. Such a sweetheart!

Well, we waited some more... and got even colder.... and waited some more... the sun had completely set... I thought about that time that Admluv and I waited in the cold in NYC for the Kradison concert. I really thought I was going to lose a toe that time... this time wasn't that bad! lol

When he finally came out, I was in a very good spot to talk to him, but the first thing he did was whip out a pen and say "who has something they want to be signed"? Nobody standing near him had anything! hee hee hee We were all looking around, and then we started to pull things out and make things up for him to sign! He signed two people's shirts - and he signed my scarf. We were VERY accommodating fans!!!! If Adam wants things to sign, darn it all, we're going to find things for him to sign! I had decided I was going to pass on birthday wishes from the minions (which I did).
