Notice how he's holding up some sort of ad for the hair care products also...LOL... I am wondering if those on this site who were victimized actually got their money and I wouldn't care if it DID come from his mother's retirement fund, again LOL. A real sob story, isn't it?

I'm amazed at how media-savvy this guy is. Gosh, how many heart-wringing elements can you bring into a story: mom, retirement fund, broke, renovated Victorian home, etc, etc. Jeez. I wouldn't doubt if he's trying to sell his story to TV.

I have not been following this thread for the last two months (at least) and for some reason the subject popped into my head this morning. weird.
Anyway, glad to hear people will be getting their money back. And Desana hopefully will get his just desserts.

Real quick update:
The second trial (for the pre-lim was today), but Desana waived his right to a pre-lim. Luke took the prosecutor's offer to drop the charges if he paid restitution to the 11 complainants and refunded everyone's money (including those that didn't come forward to press charges. They can expect a check in the mail, heading their way). The checks are actually under Luke's lawyer's name. There's a press release. I will give a more thorough recount later when I have more time.
Wow, I just peeked in here to see if there was anything new and saw the vid. Makes it all the more real. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Just found this thread and read all up dates. Do they all realize we, ADAM'S fans, stoped this or it would have amounted to millions of dollars and people envolved. Way to go.

Unfortunately its edited in such a way that you don't get to see the scamper. Loy is the second (SHORT) one to come outside, and he gets in the front passenger seat.

I was also subpoenaed, The initial hearing was today. Desana's lawyer requested a continuance, so now its been rescheduled for July 14th. They went ahead and rescheduled Loy's for the same day so as not to be having people taking off more time for work than they have to to attend two separate hearings.
When we came out of the courtroom there was a reporter from WHAG (I think), the news network out of Hagerstown. It made my day to watch Luke Loy scamper out of sight of the camera like the little rat he is; they tried to pull a big red truck up to block the camera but the girl just picked it up and ran around the other side with it. She got a great shot of him getting into the truck.
I'll be keeping an eye out to see if they post the segment on their website today so I can share it here. Anyone in that viewing region interested in watching it can see it at 5 (or it might have actually been 6), 7, and 11PM, she said.
Oh! And @KatieJ, it wasn't to testify on their behalf or anything. I imagine we were subpoenaed by the prosecutor to support her felony charges against him cos she made a big deal to the judge about not wasting any of our time more than necessary, and how important it was to reschedule it in a way that we can all still be there.
Oh my! Keep us posted.

Actually, KatieJ, the are both currently in custody. I just got off the phone with the Martinsburg PD. (There are two articles in the journal today and there's a BS claim in there that Loy makes about how he didn't personally handle the money and I called in to let the detective who personally handled my end of the case know I could personally refute that statement. The receptionist who forwarded me through to the officer actually told me they were both arrested.)

I am so happy to see someone is being held responsible for this awful scam and find it very affirming that those of us who suspected Loy from the get go have been proven right. If there wasn't sufficient evidence that he had scamming in mind, there would not be charges filed.
Hope he and his cohort and anyone else involved in this get what's coming to them.
And I hope somehow the victims get their money back.
Notice though that arrest warrants have been issued but arrests not made yet. So they skipped town as we thought.

I hope justice will be served. I think what bugs me, though, is the incompetence of some of the people -- Jefferson County Parks & Rec, The Journal, etc. -- who unintentionally helped perpetuate the scam. If it hadn't gotten all this promotion from so-called reputable sources, more people would have been suspicious.

Your friend has made NO attempt whatsoever to refund the tickets my family bought. He has the copy of our receipt with our name, number, and address. Additionally, I have left him multiple messages with multiple ways to reach myself AND my grandmother and he hasn't attempted to return my calls once. You are BOTH full of s***.

Now I am really angry. I talked to your great friend luke loy and his associate lee on the phone( they gave me a call back, when I left a message about if this was real or not.). THe night this all went down, they tried every trick in the book trying to sell me tickets that very night. Got real pissed when i told them I was waiting verification from ADAMS people. Told me if I didn't trust them they didn't want me at their concert. Ask me if I never read the journal. If its in the journal its true. I have it still on my answering machine. This guy named luke and his friend lee knew what they were doing. They are not innocent. Give me a break. You can leave this site now.

I have read all the post about my dear friend Luke Loy regarding the Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga WV concert and let me say that I am personally tired of all the negative comments about him. I have spent HOURS in conversations with him over his product during many visits. We have known each other for many years and I have seen his product line of from just an idea to "live" it is NOT his fault that his promoters made the mistake that he did, PLEASE do not take it out on my friend any longer, he is a genuine guy with a genuine heart and would NEVER hurt anyone. Please people, just please let him alone and let this guy launch his product. I am especially surprised that so many bad comments came from the gay community where he should have received support and not negative press. I suggest that if you the real story call him at his shop and ask him, he will be more than happy to tell you what really happened or read the Martinsburg journal new paper and see what they put in the paper regarding this. We all have had our start in the news, please people, please don’t let this bad publicity caused by jealous “ex-friends” or other whom did NOT know the real TRUE story hurt this guy any longer…..written by a devoted friend…

Hi everyone! I've been away from the board for a while, but came back today to check everyone else's updates on this whole situation. I just called and spoke with Mr. DeSana, but no concrete word yet on when and where refunds will be available.
I will share with everyone that I received a certified mail envelope from Luke this past Friday, for $9.44 (which was the amount I paid to him with a check, because I only had $440 on me in cash, for 2 tickets). Pretty interesting....looks like he's just trying to cover the paper trail that lies in checks that were written. I've attempted several times to reach him to inquire about my other $440, but no luck.........but I didn't expect anything different I guess.
The saga continues...
