@RMGED:

Glad to hear that. The lawyers will sort things out. Some of what was said to me personally really made my blood boil.

Thanks again, Ed. You've really been on top of this and I know we all appreciate it.

@pyrettaflame: Welcome to A.O. Glad to have you. We enjoy the hell out of Adam and his music, I think you will, too. The guy can sing his face off and boy is he a kick. Smiling

@Ageanblue: LOL @ the FYE lyrics. Perfection.

@Ice: ROFLMAO! The imaginary tickets are all yours! Enjoy your day in the park with Luke Loy doing... whatever it is he'll actually do with the park he rented.

@Starbright: Glad to hear it! Smiling

@debbiecorkee: At least one Gaga fan posted on the first article to point out that it is a hoax. I don't know where her information came from, though, she might have gotten it here.

@Gradam: Damn straight and thank you. *Minion high five*

PURGATORI, if any of that initial ire was directed at me, kindly redirect it. I have not nor shall I ever bash West Virginia.

I love West Virginia and have been to Martinsburg (by which I mean passed through it.) I'm taken aback that anyone would think I would bash "almost heaven" itself (assuming you meant me, and it seems like you did.)

I know every word to John Denver's Take Me Home, Country Roads and I believe it like gospel. My great-grandfather was a WV coal miner who invented a type of machine that's been credited with saving the lives of many of his fellow miners (in fact he invented a lot of useful stuff, like the glass-smoothing process still used commercially today and the elevator push-button system) and built three houses in Clarksburg with his own two hands.

Last time I visited I saw Black Water Falls and the Middle Fork River in Audra State Park for the first time. Both of them made me cry they're so beautiful. I sat with my feet in the Middle Fork at sunset in the springtime with the flowers just beginning to bloom and bawled my eyes out.

You'll not find one other San Diego native who knows or loves West Virginia better than I.

I think some people here did play into the jokes about West Virginia a little bit, but my own mom said, when I told her about this, "So they're makin' West Virginia proud!" She said this sticking her front teeth out and switching to a full-on hillbilly twang. And she's a native West Virginian.

I hope that your anger will now be directed at the man who's actually made West Virginia look bad: Luke Loy.

hi all,

I have been following all this as I am a local resident and was alarmed also. So I did a little investigating. I am by no means a real investigator, but tried it anyway. Before attacking mr. loy I called and got the same info. I then went to his shop to ask more. After talking for over an hour I do believe that he is not trying to scam anyone. He and the promoter have paperwork and if anything I think a promoter may have told them they could have the show on the dates they asked for as they are all out for the buck. All of the money they have wired to the promoter can be shown with receipts. They had no reason to talk with me or prove it, but I showed them this site and want to help them. So I went further and asked 19 entertainment if they booked adam lambert and they gave me a number for the management of adam lambert and after many calls I got a return call and was told they do book adam and would check on the dates I requested. So I called a few other companies that book all different acts and they sent me an email saying adam was available and that I would need to send a deposit of 10% and would receive the contracts. I am not saying this show is real, but I am wondering if they have been mislead and jumped the gun and advertised it to try and get the rest of the money to pay for everything as it was my impression they didnt have it all and ticket sales would pay for the rest of the costs. I love adam lambert and would love for this to be true, but am on the fence. But honestly instead of slamming them I think they might just have gotten screwed and don't have the contract with the date on it and were just so excited and thought it was all set and let it out. This is only my opinion and I am not saying you guys are wrong. It's just after talking to them and the guy setting this up, I walked away feeling that they were real and it might not be there fault. I am going to them tomm and suggesting that they hold ticket sales for now until they can confirm it is all concrete. What do you guys think? I just am trying to look at it in a different light. Thanks to all who have posted and adam we Love you
