I wish they would have worded the whole process of the PASSWORD better. Since I had already been a member of this site for a long time now, I was assuming the email I got awhile back showing a password for his upcoming tour, would be the password to use. My mother n law was trying to get the 2 tickets I needed for me, since I was at work, and by no computer. Of course the OTHER password was not correct for the pre-sales that started today, and little did I know that they sent me a NEW password at 5:45am this morning. So, of course this meant I was left with no tickets. Also I am curious about the LOCAL sale. I am assuming it may mean that some tickets are available to buy in person at the venue he will be playing at. In most cases they divide all the tickets up amongst pre-sale, public etc..
Now I will have to wait for the public sale on Friday, and hope to get 2 tickets. I am still surprised he is playing a smaller venue (I know he mentioned he wanted to not be in big ones, but there is such a demand, and it would be nice if more fans from each area had a great chance of seeing him without resorting to the scalpers.
Its too bad more artists can't do what AC DC did to make it hard for scalpers to sell of their tickets. Whatever credit card that you bought your tickets with (by the way the tickets were just a piece of paper with your info on it)...you must bring that card with you to the show, and let them scan it prior to you entering. You also had to show your I.D. with it.
This was the perfect way of getting the scalpers turned off by trying to make money off of AC DC tickets. No credit card used for the transaction, and no I.D.....NO ENTERING.
(By the way its the Seattle show that I am referring to in my post)
