Thanks for the thrills, thanks for the music, thanks for you!:

Dear Adam, I am one of those harried, hard-working moms of six with career and too many years between me and those great wild young days when I could get really excited about somebody or something

I was not going to watch Idol this year. But then I caught a glimpse of you, stuck around to hear you sing "Satisfaction" and thought, wow, who is that guy? And you kept going. I loved, loved, loved "Ring of Fire" so much so that I could not get it out of my head for days.
I became such a fan. I can't remember being so overwhelmed by such talent.

But even more than your talent, I loved who you are -- honest, true, the nice rebel, as you once said. I loved that you told kids to embrace their weirdness.

So now Idol is over -- and what a great last show! Queen!!!--and though things did not turn out as I was so certain they would I comfort myself with the notion that you are already up and going on to bigger and better things (I SO appreciate this web site and your message -- I'm sure all the millions of depressed Glamberts do as well, Very considerate).

I truly believe the sky is the limit for you. It seems almost magical. I was never much of an Elvis fan, but I appreciated who he was and what he meant to music, and I truly see the same possibilities in you.

I was also so impressed with your gentlemanly way of accepting defeat and being so gracious to Kris. That's when I knew YOU knew that you were going to be just fine -- more than fine. Better, Best.

So I, my sister and my kids will be driving some 400 miles to see you when you come to Phoenix, which is as close as you are coming to Tijeras where I live. I could have never imagined going to an Idol concert in years past. But until you are out there on your own, it will have to do.

Congratulations. You are a star.
