Watched Adam's interview and performance on Jay Leno last night, and I was not disappointed. Adam was warm and approachable. He handled himself with ease & grace, and his "Whataya want from me" was the high point of the show. Superb vocals are at the core of the great performances that Adam delivers, and last night he was the "freakin'" postmaster! Christmas arrived early for us "Glamberts." Happy Holidays everyone.

Ok so I watched Adam on jay leno last night and I ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT!!!!!!!! My favorite interview, He was so happy and comfortable and I thank jay leno for not sticking to the AMA performance like some others (barbera Walters, the view) and moving on and even making a joke out of it, I knew I liked jay, nice dude. I was so happy the way Adam was happy and really relaxed, and I didn’t know he worked at a starbucks when he was 16, if he worked at the local starbucks I would be there every hour and he is really funny, I had to go watch the interview again on YouTube because the first time I watched it I got distracted and ended up just looking at him and missing some things and his performance of WWFM was amazing as always. I hope Adam will be able to do more interviews like this, about him and that we see he is clearly happy in.
A couple days ago a very nice Glambert that I know told me she had a couple extra tickets. she invited my mom and I. I couldn't get a hold of my mom fast enough to confirm and the ticket got taken. So by the time my mom got back to me I had to tell her there was only one ticket. She said "I'm not going without you," (I'm 30 ma, now you wanna be nice hu?). I said "No, but I AM going without you." So I felt guilty, but tried to be excited. My mom loves Adam! I tried to get her a ticket from the show but they were gone. Once, when we thought we were going to meet him, she took off all her rings so she wouldn't scratch him. She just loves him so much. I told my boss on Friday that I'd be out Monday, he said something like - "that SHOULD be okay." I was like...um...I'm not asking here buddy. LOL
I met up with the Glams and rode there together. We lined up early and the security guard said they never have that many people that early. He said it was because of Adam then someone said "Adam who?" LOL She was joking, of course. We waited for a long time, so the anticipation really built up. I had been afraid that they would end up not having a ticket for me or that Adam would cancel (Apparently I've been let down a lot in life LOL). So once I was in, and they said Adam was there, I finally let myself be excited and ooohhhh how excited I was! I wore a shirt I made that said I AM SO ENTERTAINED. I know he didn't see it, but that is my message to him. You wanted to entertain us and YOU HAVE!!!
I could feel all this energy, and I was trying really hard to contain myself, because if you've ever read about my seeing Adam live experiences...I kinda yell random things. But this is the closest he was going to be, so I was really trying to hold it together, (plus they warned us not to yell things or we'd be escorted out). After we were seated, guess who came in and sat in the audience...guess! HIS MOM! She is some kinda beautiful!!!! The guy next to me was all "Go give her your gift to give to Adam," (yeah, I'm still carrying the gift around, 6 months now). I could have given it to her, and before the show Jay comes out and takes questions, and I could have asked "Can I give Adam a gift?" I bet he would have let me. As it was the questions were like "Please tell Adam to follow me on Twitter..." But one lady was adorable, she said she was from South Africa. Jay took her up on stage and got a photo with her and then she said "I'm here today to see Adam!" This was all before taping.
So finally the show started and I have to say everything is so much better live. The band, and Jay, and everything. He seems very warm, and I don't dislike him, but I was never really a fan, but I might be now. He was great. He did 10 questions with Jeff Bridges (I think that's his name) on screen, and then the moment we were all waiting for!!!! ADAM!!!!!! He walks out and is out-of-this-universe gorgeous! Words cannot describe him, only tears can. Tears of joy, wonder, intensity, adrenaline, longing, love. TEARS Of LOVE. His outfit was incredible. Then came my crazy thoughts...as he was sitting there with his foot crossed over his knee, I thought - I want to bite the tip of his boot. I just want to crawl up there and CHOMP! But I kept quiet. I didn't want to be arrested, but just in case, I had let my BFF know details to come claim me. Last seen in Burbank, wearing jeans, a black Adam Lambert T-shirt and sparkly Converse.
I was in HEAVEN watching him speak. We were in front of where he was interviewed, and about 6 rows back. It was so perfect. I was trying with all my mental powers to freeze time. I knew it would be over too quickly. I think I did, I think I stopped time for a few minutes and it was just Adam and me and he was talking to me, and every hair on his head was perfectly placed, and every fringe on the bottom of his long frayed jacket was exactly where it was meant to be. He is superhuman perfection from head to bitable toe! I was doing well, keeping all my crazy contained to myself. But then he mentioned the rumor about his dad being all mad at him, and he said he thinks Bill O'Reily perpetuated the rumor. And I heard myself go "BOOOOOO" really loud. I swear he kind of giggled like he heard me, then he was all "everyone is entitled to their opinion." Or something adorable like that. It was an awesome interview. Jay really likes him, and Jay totally called out network TV!!! Adam kept it cool, but Jay nailed them. Saying they want people to do shocking things then they can act all shocked, and he asked Adam if he felt like ABC bailed on him. Adam answered very professionally, but I felt like Jay just saying it was enough. Jay is smart, he's been in the business a LONG time and he called them out, I felt.
Then he performed and I was mouthing every word. I wanted to stand (and jump and scream) the whole time but they didn't want us to stand. So I sat on the edge of my seat panting and as soon as he finished I sprung up like hot toast from a toaster. I swear, I was the first one up, and he looked right at me. I think we had a moment. In reality (where I don't spend much time) probably not, but we did, we had a moment. A split second where I WAS the biggest fan there and he knew it by the way I jumped up. Or he thought I was having a seizure...
I pulled out my phone to make this post on the way home, but something was up with the site, I don't seem to be able to post from my phone right now. So I had to wait til now. By now you've all seen it and I'm not saying anything new. Just sharing my FREAKING AMAZING time! I don't know if I'll ever meet him or get up the guts to give him (or his mom) the gift I have for him, but just seeing him like that is plenty. I love cheering and clapping for him, I really do. You can tell he appreciates the support and I LOVE being in a live crowd supporting him. I love it so much, I want to cry sharing this with you. Also I wore a couple of big rings and then clapped real hard, a lot, so my palms are all bruised up, and it's not the first time. I don't learn, I think I will, but I don't. Also I met a couple AO members and they were amazing!!! REALLY REALLY cool to talk to. I don't remember their usernames exactly, and I don't want to mess them up by trying LOL! If I see them here I know and I'll give a shout out.

That was an impressive interview! I am so glad Jay spent some time with Adam covering material not dealt with before. Adam was a great guest for Jay - confident, relaxed, just being himself. And Jay was fantastic in asking great personal interest type questions, not just the same old sensational stuff. You could tell how highly Jay regards Adam. I hope everyone let's jay know how much we appreciate this fantastic interview! Adam has come back in a big way - I'm so glad he finished off 2009 in such a postive way.

I have to add to my other review: I thought the interveiw was your best ever; relaxed, articulate, funny and again your sensitivity shows thru . It was evident that Jay is a fan and i really loved the interview, as well as the performance, hauntingly beautiful as ALWAYS!!
Love Adam as always, but why is this the only song he ever sings? I am getting so dissappointed waiting to see him perform a new song from his album and it's always "What do you want from me" The world needs to see how talented he is and his fans want to see ALL of his work, not just one..his appearances are getting boring, and that's just not Adam.

I bye chance was watching Jay Leno tonite and had the opportunity to see Adam's interview and performance. He was fantastic to say the very least, back when he was a contestant on American Idol I always felt that he would emerge from that program as the star...and tonight he proved that is exactly where he is headed. He was very humble and sincere during his appearance and if you ever want to come to Canada to perform Adam, our country would welcome you with open arms.

Gush..................He is so exciting to watch. Lov his voice and he is such a charismatic person.
I hope he sings two songs FYE & WWFM. I really want to hear FYE again with his band. This song is HOT! HOT! HOT! HOT! Lov it. WWFM is emotionally intense. Everytime Adam sings this song, i always cry.
