Honestly, that's all I have to say. Adam, I have adored you, 100% adored you, since American Idol, and honestly, the release of this album is the best thing a New Zealand fan of yours can look forward to. It's probably the closest thing to meeting you in real life that we have.

I loved all your songs, AFTERMATH has fantastic lyrics, and it's so true to so many people.

As for THAT performance on AMA? Phwoooaarrr! My god that was sexy! Good on you for getting out there and doing it. In the sort of industry you're in you have to stay true to yourself. I read somewhere that you had (apparently) said that 'Female performers have been doing this for years — pushing the envelope about sexuality — and the minute a man does it, everybody freaks out' I 100% agree with that! I am a huge fun of you from Israel. “For Your Entertainment” is an amazing album as expected, I love all songs very much, especially “Pick U Up”, “Whataya Want from Me”, “For Your Entertainment”, “Fever”, “Soaked”. I’ve pre-ordered this CD on Amazon but I’ve not received it yet, I listen to the songs on MySpace and I can’t wait for the moment I will keep this CD in my arms.
I think you are amazing artist, you have a very beautiful voice, every time I listen to you I’m melting…. You are very beautiful man. Adam sounds great and his songs are very meaningful which adds another dimension to his music. Master Plan is also awesome! Great album overall! My husband was even tapping his fingers to quite a few songs!

Love the cover very artsy and glam! Not happy that so many people are reactive, just hope it helps make Adam become more famous. Personally I think it will become a classic. Love the title song because it truly captures what it like to watch Adam perform live and what it does to his audience and how crazy and exciting it is. From the 30 sec snippets on the Album I think it is remarkable to have so many songs that are just going to be down right fantastic!! In fact there are only one or two I don't love. That is amazing for any album and especially for a first album. I will keep an open mind on those two and may like them more when I am able to hear the whole song. Frankly, Adam can sing anything and do it well because his vocal chops are that good!! I really look forward to seeing what all he does going forward and hope he tries it all!! I will be at any LA concert he does and hope he does a ton of music videos because I will buy them all!! Adam Rocks!!

there is nothing bad to say about this album. it has so many different sounds, which is amazing. i love the song 'whataya want from me', it is incredible. the video makes it even better (if thats possible ). it shows an even more sensitive side of Adam that is just beautiful. it shows the things that he goes through, it shows him breaking down and still being thankful that people still love him. well he oesnt have to worry about me....i'll always love you Adam the album was sensational.

I love snippets. First I had favourites but after listening snippets again and again I think all the songs will be my favourites. There is song for every mood and every person, I like the feeling of this album

This CD is ok, but I was really expecting quite a few Adam remakes of older songs. That's what created the popularity and I believe, that is your number one strength Adam. Hope to see some soon. Oh,... and the music overtakes the vocals quite a bit. I want to hear Adam's amazing voice.

You're right.

I think he 'toned down' because he's overcompensating, trying to overcome the raunchy AMA debacle. Smart move, and with each performance he and his band are starting to loosen up some and actually look like they're having fun. Keep it up, Adam! But, remember, people are only forgiving once.

I sure want him to stay true to himself artistically, but trash is not art. (Most of) his fans love him because of his natural sex appeal, which includes his principles, graciousness, and decency, as well as his physical attributes: his overall awesomeness and style, his flirty nature, the devilish grin, brilliant smile, intenseness, and brilliant, energetic performances.

Sure Fire Winners and/or Music Again would be great third releases because of their energy and upbeat vibe.

It's my second day listening to his cd, just perfect for my beautyrest this
weekend. First time to have listened to a newly-bought CD without getting my ears tired. There's a variety for every one to enjoy, and because they're specially handpicked by dearest Adam, it's very heartfelt, making it more convincingly relatable and of course, entertaining.
This is the beginning of our world listening to pure music- sadly, having a bunch of still trying-hard singers out there in the air waves our ears couldn't escape totally- we simply just have to ignore the radio and use our mp3's or stereo to listen exclusively to Adam's music 24/7.

Thanks Adam for your magnificent first labour of love for all your fans to enjoy. Hope to hear the second one soon and many, many more to come.

Me and my mother really love you. We where shocked that you didn't make it as a American Idol but atleast your doing what you wanted to do. I'm also glad that you didn't join Queen, you needed to be yourself and do your own thing and Queen is a old band that doesn't need a fresh young face.

My mother bought your cd and i copied it to a blank MINIDISC till i have money to get a copy of it. I love the MINIDISC format and hate Ipods for putting the format on the decline and am mad at SONY for poor promotions of the format. I'm gay too and am proud that you are being yourself and not hiding from it. You have a sweet and calm presentation when you talk and greet your fans and others.

I love alot of the songs on your album, my mother didn't know what you where saying in the first song and i had to look at the lyrics to see on the part of "Look into my eyes, baby eyes". I think the bonus track from 2012 should have been part of the album instead of it being a bonus track. I'm glad it is on the cd cause i have a thing with odd numbers on cds to the point that they don't even out.

Music Again was one of my more favorite songs when the snippets got leaked. I had maybe a year ago discovered what I had missed with the Darkness, a neoclassical rock band with a look and sound reminiscent of Queen, but still rocketing out into the space of the future, all with a sense of humor. The playful range and guitar massaging present in their work has come into the glittery future to pass its genes on to Adam Lambert, from none other than Justin Hawkins himself. The beat of the song is highly reminiscent of Queen's song "Headlong", sounding just enough like it to remind you who's side of the family the song got it's eyes from, but just enough different to launch into the new world of glamiverse sound.

For your entertainment is a pulsating, whip-smacking rush of dance-lust, that seems to pull from everything from Mr. Roboto to David Bowie to Daft Punk, with a hint of light Goldfrapp thrown in. The lyrics could be counted in the double entendre zone, but mostly the overtly suggestive lyrics will still be tame enough for most people behind that "do nothing but shake your ass" dance vibe. I haven't analyzed it very much, but I love it.

Whataya want from me is so clearly styled and suited to P!nk - seeing as she co-wrote on it! I can hear her singing it. It is what I would consider the passing of the torch of recent movers and shakers in today's rock-pop: direct and deep emotional lyrics, a pleading vocal, but a light enough beat to keep masses entertained and out of the deep pain that a true blues song would give you.

I had misgivings about Strut, due to the cowriter responsible for what I consider the abysmal dross that was no boundaries. But the snippet made all concerns melt away. I love the predatory base beat that hearkens back to the late 60s and early 70s blues/hard rock and the intense metal of the 80s. The guitar solos hint at this while being light enough to play on the pop dance circuits. The mispronunciation of some of the lyrics to finesse the rhyme scheme is witty and fun, and adds extra attitude to the song, which is fun and sexy. Again, you can read into the song different levels of "naughtiness", a little something for everyone. one of my favorites.

I had heard that muse wrote soaked and considered that flailing might be in order. The demo version of the song was posted on you tube, and the intense piano (reminiscent of Queen's "Death on two legs") and the muse guy's ethereal and experimental vocals made me really excited. this demo was awesome. Then it hit me... Adam will be singing this in a production version. And I could no longer brain. The instrumentation is so rich and Adam's vocals so well done, there is no word to describe how earthshaking the first listen was. It is amazing.

Sure Fire Winners really caught my ear in the snippet. I could not wait to hear more after "I was born with glitter on my face, my baby clothes made of leather and LAAAAAAAAAAAACE". This kick-ass anthemic, light-metal song is just the thing that will do for flailing. It nods also to the new wave of techno/robot dance music with the digitized vocals, and the fantastic egyptian-like riffs make you want to move and writhe. Glory notes abound. I love it.

A loaded smile has I guess deeper lyrics, feeling, a ballad. sorry everybody I'm not feeling this one. (am I allowed to say that?) Adam is brilliant though, the true range of his voice is shown, as this song is sung in higher register.

If I had you is almost two songs together... the electro vibe and fun snappy lyrics give way to almost ballad like vibe, but with a club dance beat. Fun.

Pick U Up has almost billy-joel-like piano styling at the beginning. And it's almost alt-rock in it's overall sound, but then still has an march-like pop dance sound. Lyrically and overall it sounds like something an angsty teenager would sing. Yet gives way at the end to a more mature and glory-noted climax, and at the last everyone loves his giggle.

FEVER
Lady Gaga gets major major props from me for this. This is by far my favorite song on the album. I almost feel guilty because I should like one best that Adam wrote on! The lyrics are not deep, but not vapid by a long shot. This is a sexy song, and has immediacy, tells a story, and is crazy and fun. Not all art has to be deep spiritually. The snarling sarcastic phrasing of some of the lyrics is thrilling, and this one makes no mistake about being sexy and naughty. That being said, the instrumentation is actually less pop and more rock than some of the other NOT-GAGA related songs. The song doesn't have a beat, it has a pulse, it is alive, it raises you up and shakes you, will make you move. You have no choice. I must listen to it repeatedly every time or I get upset. ADAM = WIN.

sleepwalker is similar in quality to whataya want from me, but instead of being a pop song more, is more of a ballad, is sung in a higher register, and has more of a madrigal "ooooooooohhhhhh" chorus background. the mood is more somber, less optimistic. It is the introverted song, where whatatya want is extroverted in its expression. Glory notes!

Aftermath is kindof a middle of the road pop/rock song, and has more acoustic guitar sound to it, maybe something you could hear someone without Adam's ridiculous range singing. Just because he can doesn't mean that he has to be back in the mists or out in the stratosphere. This one is all about the lyrics.

Broken open is an angel choir of deep and meaningful emotion, the sonic lobotomy we were warned about. This is how Adam does Enya. I'm not even kidding. The beat is the only thing that keeps it from being entirely ethereal and in the stars, it keeps you connected to realize these are human emotions. That said, turn it up and blow the speakers out from this - you will FEEEEEEL.

Time for miracles is a bonus song. y'all better have heard this power ballad already. I can honestly say that I do not tire of hearing it.

I am slightly underwhelmed by this CD. Adam seemed to be more rock and roll/alternative on AI than this CD. The ballads are excellent and the voice extraordinary. Many songs seem too "disco-like"?

FYE,is a brilliant and diverse compilation of music ,from the kick ass ,foot stomping dance beat of FYE,to the stunning vocals on Soaked the music draws you in and entertains every step of the way.If someone had told me I'd be hooked after listening to thirty seconds of a song I'd have said " no way " but that was before Adam,he's changed my perception of love at first listen. The fun,the glitz and the glamor is back,thanks Adam,because of you music excites me once again !
