"Time For Miracles" & 2012

Adam Lambert, the American Idol star, performs "Time for Miracles," the theme song from Columbia Pictures' 2012, the new action film from Roland Emmerich. Viewers can catch a tease of the song at AOL Moviefone, where a music teaser with footage from the film and Lambert recording the song premieres today.
2012 will be released in theaters nationwide on November 13, 2009.
Lambert said, "'Time for Miracles' is a great song and perfectly fits the themes of the movie. I was thrilled to record this song for 2012 and I'm glad I had the chance to help create a unique sound for this movie."
The song was produced by Rob Cavallo, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and written by Natasha Shneider and Alain Johannes Moschulski. It will be included on the 2012 soundtrack distributed by RCA Records, due in stores November 10.

The film is directed by Roland Emmerich and written by Roland Emmerich & Harald Kloser. Producers are Harald Kloser, Mark Gordon, and Larry Franco.
Adam Lambert is currently recording his first album on 19 Recordings/RCA Records for a November 2009 release.

OMG this is such a great beginning to what is sure to be one of the best albums of the year!!! Adam's voice is so true and full and everything anyone could ever want a voice to be. I love love LOVE how, in this clip at least, the first time we hear you sing, its a low pitch and there are a few layers, it sounds AMAZING!! And then later when you record over yourself with the high craziness that you do so well....goodness gracious lol this song is killer. It has just the right amount of a Muse feel, plus its alllllll Adam! I've even made this page a favorite so I can come back and listen over and over again!!

I'm an Australian fan who has spent ten years of my life teaching & encouraging kids to love music no matter what, and to make music matter at whatever level that means to them(having previously taught general classroom for 15 years).
PLEASE don't go the way of techno music: your voice is better than that! Other people may hide behind techno- but you have a TRUE voice; a God-given talent! SING without distortion even if you're told by record producers/ movie moguls etc to be "hip"! All YOU need to do is sing from your heart as I've always seen you doing. You can sing ANYTHING, & don't need technical "enhancement".

I just love what I got to hear of this song already. The movie looks great and hearing Adam's voice singing the theme song just makes it all even better! Hearing his voice period brought me a little peace tonight. I have been going through a lot of things that seem to keep piling up all at once and hearing that angel's voice just seems to make those problems melt away for a while.
