When I watched he rerun I loved it more than the first time I seen it if thats possible. You were the only Idol that did him justice that night and MJ would have been proud. I cannot believe that America voted for Kris or rather against you. Are Americans really that ignorant when it comes to talent or are there just too many hateful people in this world who use these venues to spew their hatred.Oh well, no matter, You alone are the star on the tour, the only star on the the tour that will be worth while seeing and Im not going to wish you success because you already have it. Watched the memorial, brought me to tears. Now we have a new phenomenon and his name is Adam, truly! Oddly enough, both were born in Indiana! Highly anticipating the release of your first album and I'm sure it will be a mega hit. Adam no one can sing like you. You were given a rare gift and all your fans appreciate it. Like Michael Jackson, you are a rare gem. I forecast great success for you. Enjoy the tour, even though you will have to sing the same songs about 50 times LOL! After seeing all the mediocre talent perform during the MJ special, just how bad is AI going to suck in Season 9? I mean, seriously, did Adam not blow most of them away? What will there be after Adam? People trying to be Adam? Just ordinary singers performing? MAYBE one standout from the crowd, if they are lucky? (I guarantee you this person won't even reach Adam's level of talent)
Adam mentioned that this was one of the more difficult song choices - but I have to tell you, Adam your version really grows on you more and more as you listen to it - its an amazing song, the lyrics interesting and such a great tune to match - wonderful meaning! Adam, your expressions with singing this number are great - you strut your stuff!! This number has been playing itself through my mind regularly of late - just another one of your brilliant performances. I am a definite fan of Mad World - as time goes by I simply adore Tracks of my Tears and Black or White - I hope these may be recorded on album by you in due course.
Just love what you are doing and very THANKFUL and APPRECIATIVE of your music choices on AI - its been such a Pleasure listening and watching, again and again......
I believe that 100% percent. After my initial shock of finding out that MJ died, I turned to my sister and said Adam is going to be the next King of Pop. Like you said everything happens for a reason, I believe he will take the world by storm.
I grew up with MJ....his was my first album and he was absolutely incredible. What a sad and tragic outcome. I see Adam as the beginning of a new generation of fabulous talent and music. I hope Adam realizes that he has a fan base that goes from preteens to postteens...LOL. Speaking from "The Southern Grandmas" we just love you. Grandma E clued me in, as I am not a fan of American Idol (as we can see why, how the heck did they reach that final decision?) and I fell in love. Please keep the drugs and alcohol out and enjoy what you do and who you are. Can't wait until the 1st CD comes out. About 10 seconds into B&W was when I knew I had just seen something extraordinary--So thats when I started taping Adam only on Tuesday nights. I was glad for the Mon. night show so I could erase the original and have a tape of just Adam singing B&W--I have no entrest in seeing or hearing any of the others again..I just mute when they are on...

I so agree with you. The emotion on Adam's face when he realized the judges loved what he did still brings me to tears. He had tried unsuccessfully for so long to get someone to recognize his talent that I think he was a little surprised and definitely touched when someone actually did. Adam, I hate to say this, but I missed this during the regular season. My life is hectic and I kept forgetting until it came down to the last 3. I was so excited to see them reair this episode. I agree with you, "RIP MJ". He was a great artist and will be well missed. I hope that he saw this performance. He would have been honored by that. It was INCREDIBLE! I was so blown away by it. It was just proof early on to back up why you made it to the final. You are one very talented person. I loved watching your expressions while getting comments from the judges. I believe that 100% percent. After my initial shock of finding out that MJ died, I turned to my sister and said Adam is going to be the next King of Pop. Like you said everything happens for a reason, I believe he will take the world by storm.
I grew up with MJ....his was my first album and he was absolutely incredible. What a sad and tragic outcome. I see Adam as the beginning of a new generation of fabulous talent and music. I hope Adam realizes that he has a fan base that goes from preteens to postteens...LOL. Speaking from "The Southern Grandmas" we just love you. Grandma E clued me in, as I am not a fan of American Idol (as we can see why, how the heck did they reach that final decision?) and I fell in love. Please keep the drugs and alcohol out and enjoy what you do and who you are. Can't wait until the 1st CD comes out. About 10 seconds into B&W was when I knew I had just seen something extraordinary--So thats when I started taping Adam only on Tuesday nights. I was glad for the Mon. night show so I could erase the original and have a tape of just Adam singing B&W--I have no entrest in seeing or hearing any of the others again..I just mute when they are on...

But everything happens for a reason, and we are FAR overdue for a new "king" of some type of music! Micheal Jackson has died (R.I.P.) and now there is room enough in the world for someone new to move in. I believe it could be you, Adam, that takes the ENTIRE world by storm as M.J. did. We've had two definite kings, Elvis and Micheal Jackson. could YOU be added to the list? WE can sure hope can't we, Lambert fans?
I Was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sad when I found out I missed this! I love both M.J. and Adam (as im sure many other people do) so missing this really sucked for me. Oh well, life goes on. I missed the Rolling Stones interview also!!!! I'll have to make sure to be more careful from now on.

Now I remember why I was so taken with Adam in the first place! Nobody matched his performances in those first shows! They were all so AWFUL but Adam was GREAT! And he's still GREAT! But I'll have to admit that Kris has improved. Adam is still the BEST!
I so agree with you. The emotion on Adam's face when he realized the judges loved what he did still brings me to tears. He had tried unsuccessfully for so long to get someone to recognize his talent that I think he was a little surprised and definitely touched when someone actually did. It was even more special to watch now that Michael is gone. R.I.P. M.J.

Adam, I hate to say this, but I missed this during the regular season. My life is hectic and I kept forgetting until it came down to the last 3. I was so excited to see them reair this episode. I agree with you, "RIP MJ". He was a great artist and will be well missed. I hope that he saw this performance. He would have been honored by that. It was INCREDIBLE! I was so blown away by it. It was just proof early on to back up why you made it to the final. You are one very talented person. I loved watching your expressions while getting comments from the judges. The light bulb went on and you realized that you FINALLY made it. You must have been ready to jump out of your skin. OMG!!! I can't wait to see you LIVE in Michigan in August! I hope that I there's a meet and greet. You are AWESOME and SEXY, too!!!

If anyone hasn't figured out all the big "hoopla" surrounding Adam they only need to watch this performance. Wow. I felt like a teenager, a lovestruck fan and a proud parent all at once.

How great it was to see you perform again...Didn't need a reminder as to your talent, but sure was good to see you...Waiting just like everyone else that loves you for that 1st CD...All of us grandmas in the south are so taken by you that any chance we get to see or hear you, we jump on...Just be careful Adam, and don't ever lose the "perfect" you, that you are...So many of our musical idols got caught up in all the hoop-la through the years, turned to drugs and or drinking and died way too young....Just stay true to yourself, believe in family and all of us who love you...Your talent is soooo amazing and the world needs someone like you to keep us all young...Love you Adam....Grandma E

OMG...just a gentle reminder that they should've crowned you the King at that very moment! Watching the emotion on your face while Paula was commenting brought tears to my eyes. It was the first time it ever looked like you were going to cry! My 10 year old daughter & I just wanted to hug you. We are both so proud of you (she says I'm obsessed, oh well), and we cannot wait to see you in Atlantic City! Best wishes for a successful tour, and we cannot wait for your album. My only Brother shares your B'day, so I told him he was destined for stardom!!! Your rise to the top has taken the blow out of Michael's passing (who I LOVED), so now we have you to adore!!
