I love both of these performances! "Music Again" is my favorite! Adam looks and sounds amazing. His band is very cool too.

'In November, Lambert performed "For Your Entertainment" at the American Music Awards of 2009. The performance showed Lambert kissing a male keyboardist, grinding a dancer's head against his pelvis, and grabbing the crotch of another. Lambert told Rolling Stone magazine, "Female performers have been doing this for years—pushing the envelope about sexuality—and the minute a man does it, everybody freaks out. We're in 2009—it's time to take risks, be a little more brave, time to open people's eyes and if it offends them, then maybe I'm not for them. My goal was not to piss people off, it was to promote freedom of expression and artistic freedom."In response to his performance, the Parents Television Council, a conservative decency campaigning group, urged viewers to complain to the FCC. The performance, at the end of the show, was broadcast "outside the FCC's usual 6am-10pm time frame prohibiting the broadcast of indecent material". ABC received about 1,500 telephoned complaints and announced he would not perform on Good Morning America on November 25th as planned. CBS subsequently invited Lambert to perform instead on The Early Show, on the same date in New York City.'

Im in Australia and did not get to see the show I heard it was canceled. Since Idol finished I have been hanging out for some more Adam. Finially I have your 2 CDs and my footage from AMAs and letterman, I wonder if you even know how big you are and are going to be. At least with the controversy NOW a lot of people here in Oz know who I am raving on about. The controversy did not hurt Elvis 5o years ago on Johhny Carson, 3o years ago Micheal shocked the world grabbing his crotch.

Adam - saw your performances on both the early show and Letterman and thought they were great - am getting a little disappointed with the media however when it comes to the whole hoopla over the AMA's - on Access Hollywood last night they had a poll on whether they thought that performance would hurt your career - frankly that shouldn't be the question - the questions should focus on the CD itself, the songs you sing - the videos that you are making to complement the CD. After that have to admit that I was curious as to just how much success you would indeed achieve in your life as an artist - I at times am able to see what lies ahead for people. I am somewhat of a seer. At times it would appear that you are becoming an advocate for a cause - that being a gay male singer who should have the same freedoms as women in the industry without the harsh judgement - this has potential to overshadow you as the brilliant singer, perfomer and artist that you truly are! If the focus on you can be shifted instead to the music on your CD's, upcoming performances that showcase your one of kind talent and originality then there should be no stopping you from achieving unbelievable success.

I had to wait for 7am on the west coast to watch Adam perform. Very frustrating when everyone was tweeting about how great he was. Before the Early Show even aired here, I had already watched almost everything on various youtube videos from the east coast viewing. I was completely blown away, yet again. "Whataya want from me" is such a great song on the album but his performance made it even better. "Music again" is so catchy and sly. Adam looked like he was having a lot of fun singing on that stage. My favorite part was actually when he finished "Music again" and immediately went outside to meet his fans and sign autographs. I love to see how down to earth he is about being a star now. Also, I have noticed that he uses the phrase "apples and oranges" quite often. Nearly every interview this week that I have seen or read had him using that phrase.
one question... did you get to go sleep somewhere for the day before you have to be on David Letterman tonight? ha ha that's a true performer and entertainer! one who opens the day and also closes it. i've said a couple times that i think today is my favourite day because of this... your interview and performance this morning on The Early Show was the best! i don't know if anyone noticed or if you even intended for it to happen, but to come out with Whataya Want From Me was perfect as a message to both those who caused a problem about the AMA's and the ones who always stand by you (like me). if you hear the lyrics, it made complete sense. and then Music Again is a favourite of mine because it IS music again, FINALLY!!! aside from that, you sang them and moved to them amazingly. i hope this shows GMA and those haters that they are wrong to doubt you because you are truly the greatest artist and they will see!

Shakira and her dancers can simulate fornication --and the rappers can be so foul that every 3rd word is bleeped out but they gotta make an issue about guy kisses and crotch admiration. Bravo Adam!! Watched you strike the absolutely perfect stance on the Early Show this morning. Understanding the controversy, eloquently stating your viewpoint without being defensive, not apologizing for parents not taking responsibility for what THEY expose their children to -- giving one option as Tivo (there are a few others as well like DVR and OFF) and finally for your mesmerizing voice.
I'm a sr exec at a Fortune 50 company and recruit young hires. I wish I could find 50 Adams - centered, true to themselves, confident, poised under fire, driven, ambitious and willing to work for their goals. And oh, by the way, you're also a brilliant strategist (I don't for a minute believe that your AMA's performance was "only" getting carried away by the adrenaline and the moment.....)

Adam, there are few things that will get me up at 7am on a weekday when I don't have to go to work. I was furious when ABC canceled on you, but delighted when CBS jumped in. And man, you did not dissapoint. You were charming and gracious considering the public drubbing you've taken in the last few days. I was reminded yet again why I became such a fan during AI.
And your singing... wow. Any pitch problems you had on Sunday were gone. You are an amazing singer and my only dissapointment was that there was only time for you to sing two songs. I cannot wait until your solo tour so that I can see you tear up the stage like you did this past summer. You are an astonishing talent and I'm grateful that you took the chance to audition for AI so that we all get to enjoy it.

You handled the interview questions like a pro and I agreed with the things you said. You are one smart man. Thank you for bringing these issues to us and the for front of our society. I'm very unhappy at the the double standards and pressures they put on boys and girls. It's time to change that. But we'll handle that part Adam - you... ROCK ON!! I made sure to remember to watch you on ABC and was so disappointed when you were not there. Dancing with the stars YUK!. But now that I watch this I am glad to have you back. I am 60 and was moved by music in the70's and 80's and then once again like never before by you. You are a spiritual gift and inspiration. Yet the AMA was so disappointing in every way. I dislike Gaga and all those with no talent that hide behind theatrics to mask their lack and use it to sell. You do not need that. Although I love your theatrics and creativity your voice is and talent is what moves. Please always keep that first and your ability to entertain us secondary. Give us room to use our own imaginations. those of us who love you will always support you. The vulgarity did not shock me but your vocals and the 'what I felt was allowing the theatrics to take center stage' did. I am behind you 100% and wish only the best for you. In the 80's, I dressed up for an AT&T corporate meeting in black leather, heavy eyeliner and black nails. It was shocking and not the best move for my career but I understand the need to be free, expressive and live out of the box. Just sing for me. I love it.
