Adam Lambert will be performing this Friday, August 7th on Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. This concert is open to the public, so if your in the area come out and show Adam some support!
Good Morning America airs live from 7 to 9 a.m., with concert performances usually starting around 8:30 a.m. If you're going to attend the concert check out the details below!!

The "Good Morning America" 2009 Summer Concert Series has moved to Central Park! The live concerts will take place in Rumsey Playfield in New York City's Central Park. Central Park opens to the public at 6 a.m. and audience members will be permitted to enter the park starting then. Concerts are free and open to the public. Entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive at 6 a.m. The best and closest way to enter the park is at Fifth Avenue and E. 69th St., where you can follow a short path to the playfield. The closest subway is the N or R train.

I drove 2hrs by myself from up state NY to the concert in Newark, i think i was the only black
chick (person) there but i still screamed at the top of my lungs for ADAM the whole time he was on stage. Definitely worth it.

I agree with the other poster in response to B whatever his name is regarding the Tampa incident. And evidently this person isn't a true fan in the first place or else he would know that Adam has been having stalker problems ever since the Tampa show. And I totally agree about the ticket issue...you bought a ticket for a show, and you saw a show. If you went to see Mariah or Barry Manilow, neither of them are obligated to shake your hand or sign your chest or any of that crap. I think this person is just looking for an excuse not to be a fan, in which case he should just drop the pretense and go complain about someone else. If Adam doesn't make it out for meet/ greets, there is usually a good reason...and its almost always to make his safety a priority.
What a simple, beautiful performance which shows your tremendous talent! Adam, your voice is a gift from God to the world. While I enjoy all of your songs, I hope that you will eventually make an album from your quiet side which includes selections like this one and your moving version of "Dust in the Wind" which I have watched on www.youtube.com many times. I saw a few mentionings that Adam was honored for the best-selling Rolling Stone cover in ExtraTV.com but it mostly shows that he talked about Paula leaving AI, but no Pix nor further detail on the "honoring". I hope that at least this official web site should have it.
The concert was amazing! Even if it meant getting in line at 1:30 am! It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam really rocked today on GMA. It was great to see all 3 preform together and seperately. Adam U ROCK as always. Looked great even after your busy & demanding schedule. Thanks again.
For those international fans that haven't seen it yet. Kris was first to sing, Heartless, with a plaid shirt of course. He did well. Adam was next with Starlight, sitting on a stool (no sexy moves, family show) wearing a black shirt with a vest and sporting the hair-do from Texas concert and the Play that Funky Music video. He looked great and fresh this am. Then David Cook performed Come Back to Me from his album, also wearing a plaid shirt. What's the matter Adam, no plaid for you? haha. They sang a trio of Little Lies off camera before the 8:30 start of the concert on TV, but you can see that song on GMA.com supposidly. Robin Roberts (co anchor) asked about Paula's leaving AI and they all agreed that she would be missed. Adam stated "She probably has something up her sleeve". Then when RR thanked them for taking time off from their tours, Adam said "What, no underwear on stage?" That got a laugh from the crowd. Thanks for stopping by guys, way to short with all the commercials added in.Maybe 3 minutes a piece.....
He was great! Looked awesome (even after his very hectic schedule). Sounded wonderful...sang "Starlight". I'll be hearing it again tonight in AC!!!
I just got home from work and watched Adam, Chris, and David on GMA! They were all fantastic! I thought that Adam's acoustic take on Starlight was incredible...I think I watched it 5 or 6 times....He is truly amazing!
Adam never ceases to surprise us with how he chooses to perform his songs in various venues. His performance of "Starlight" this morning was beautiful. Kris and David did a great job too. The talent and quality of those 3 on stage both alone and together was awesome! Great way to start a Friday!
Adam must have this version on his album - it is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard and not what I was expecting - I can't wait for his album

Well I live in Beautiful Coeurdalene Idaho but Seattle is only 4.5 hours away any tour dates this way?
I had forgotten how very much I LOVE that song "Little Lies" until David Cook sang it, but really got into it when Adam and Kris joined in. Since Adam's solo was so short it really left me wanting to hear him do the entire song his way. Did he rock it or what? Not that David Cook wasn't awesome ... but Adam really had his way with it, didn't he? Great song ... I really enjoyed all three of our Idols. Good job, guys!!

I watched the video that has to be the greatest cover of Starlight i have ever seen. I really liked it. Did anyone notice how many girls that are at that concert? Lots of fans. LOL! Little lies was a great cover too. Is there any way we can download that? lol.
I havent been able to see this concert yet because well it is only Thursday here in Illinois. Let me tell you something, i hate GMA. But i will watch it to see him perform. Thanks to all of y'all it is no longer a suprise what he will be singing. Starlight. Yah i just checked lol my bad it is Friday. BLECH! i woke up too late didnt get a chance to see him. I will have to watch the video but it was probly better live. UGH! i cant believe i missed it.

When I saw the stool come out, I thought..oh no, Mad World again, but had hopes it would be Starlight since Kris sang a favorite from the tour. It was just gorgeous and he was stunning. And the leather strap on his right hand with the silver hook around his thumb was enticing, too! He's such a bad boy. Gotta love that!!

Can't make it into the city but have my DVR set to record the show but I'm not sad since I will see Adam on Tuesday night at Nassau Coliseum and cannot wait. Take care Adam and don't strain that beautiful voice too much. See you soon!!!
I tried to get Thursday and Friday off work to go to NY, but my boss wouldn't give them to me! Damn! I will be watching Adam (and like David Cook too, although Adam is my boy!) in Central Park and will be Glam-dreaming!

Just a week before Adam and the Idols hit Hamilton, Ont., and I have my near-the-stage seat! I inquired with the marketing department about meet-and-greets, and Idol apparently hasn't approved any. Only a Hamilton radio station held a contest for a meet-and-greet, and a winner was chosen. But I'm still working on somehow getting to meet Adam!

Hey everyone the Los Angeles Times have done the best ever interview with Adam. Please check it out, they are truly wonderful both the writer and Adam are just fantastic. The writer asks great questions and gives Adam time to answer and as always Adam's answers are articulate, well thought out, self reflective and thoughtful. It is my understanding there will be 4 parts to the series. It is like reading a book about his path to where he is today - Beautiful!!

You're a great talent. And the BEST American Idol has ever had. It seems 'Adam Lambert' is popular now 'around the world'. My favorite song of yours is "Feeling Good". It gives range to your voice and shows what a magnificent singer you are. Hope the song is featured in one of your albums........Camille
@bcrecio Unless there was something special about Tampa, the tickets you buy are to see the AI concert, not meet Adam. He is under no obligation to do pre- or post-show M&Gs. If that makes people decide not to be "fans," good riddance! He doesn't need spoiled, entitled fans like that.
Adam, wish you or ur manager would clarify that Tampa incident, the reason why you're not gonna do MEET & GREET with the rest of your tours. it's so unfair to some of your fans who bought tickets months ago just to meet you. and all of a sudden it's not gonna happen. some of your fans don't know about that incident, and they were very very UPSET.
as a BIG FAN of yours, wish i could defend you but i don't know what's the real story. i love you so much & i don't want your supporters to junk you that fast simply because you disappoint them. PLEASE SPEAK UP!
