Adam Lambert sat down with Michelle Collins from BWE 'Martini Minute' to chat about his new album, working with Lady Gaga and the AMAs. Take a look at the fun interview below!
Oh yes to have a drink with Adam...! This was fabulous. I could definitely listen to him talk without end, too. My past few days have been consumed by Adam. Cheers to that. I am going to make a toast to you on New Year's. To much more Adam, and for being the most current, gorgeous, and talented singer yet!
Adam is so funny and these two together are a total riot!! He could be such a great radio host, except it would be sin to lose him as a recording artist. Hell what am I saying, Adam can do just about anything!! Act, Sing, interviews, host, cosmic tour guide - oh just kidding!! Adam Rocks!!
Don't know which is more deliciously naughty: this interview or laughing at all the negative "moral / appropriate / for the children" comments about him on this and other sites. Every time I read one of them, they remind me of the saying, "A fundamentalist is someone who sees evil in the crotch of a tree."
Raised fundamentalist, so I can tell you from experience that until I gradually self-deprogrammed my upbringing, I was a total f***tard. LOL.
Particularly love this comment from another site, "After his vulgar acts of simulated sex on live TV I have no desire to see him in anything."
You KNOW this just BEGS the question, "So apparently you desire to see him in nothing?!"
If "simulated" sex is so vulgar, I can only imagine how vile the REAL sex act was that brought her into the world was!" For everyones' sake--take a few enemas--PLEASE!
I would do just about anything to be able to have a martini with these two. Hysterical. Huge fan of Adam, now a huge fan of Michelle Collins. Every interview should be like this one. PRICELESS!
Ok, I've been a lurker long enough. That was hands down the best interview I've heard - great camaraderie, great questions, delicious naughtiness!! Adam has been gracious and classy in all of the interviews I've seen, but this was the first time he really looked like he was having FUN. Thanks for posting this! OMG!!! I want this man in my living room, NOW, to have a "girl chat" while sitting on my couch!! He is freakin' HILARIOUS!! I just LOVE his laugh!! He would be such a good friend and so much fun!! This is one of the cutest interviews I have seen yet - give us MORE, sweet Adam!!
Very fun interview to watch. It's nice to see that there are venues out there where you can actually 100% express what you really think instead of having to sugarcoat everything.
There definitely is a double standard. Maybe Adam can make it go away. Here's hoping, right?
Very good format / venue: fun, perky, & seemed damn close to natural.
He has made a habit of ignoring others' negativity, or sharing brief, general insights about it, then moving on--wise.
While in Mr. Lambert's case it is more true spiritually than physically, Einstein said, "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds."
Would love for him to ad depth by learning to work an axe. An axe might suit him better in middle age than glam clothes.
Maybe it was the fig-infused martini but this is the best interview I've seen so far--and Adam handles all the interviews exceptionally well. But I felt like he was more comfortably "himself" here. The two of them should take their show on the road. Hilarious & adorable.

I so totally loved this interview. Definitely stay true to yourself Adam. Don't let those GMA haters push you away. We all still love you very much and think you are the hottest thing that has blessed the stage of American Idol thus far.

i can't even remember how many times i watched this. after all that AMA thing he got to laugh like this for a few minutes. i sure hope to see Adam laugh like this for a looong time. he makes me smile all the time. he can do magical things.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT INTERVIEW! Why can't I get through my computer screen to hug you!?! When will people grow up and realize that it's not WHO you love, but HOW you love them ... with all your heart, body and soul ... and yours are beautiful! While I was preparing to send an email to ABC telling them I'm boycotting their network due to their treatment of you, I ran through their "line up" and realized ... I don't watch anything on ABC anyway, which is telling in and of itself (the only reason I watched ABC that night was because you were going to be on the AMAs)! I wouldn't want to be the "decision-maker" who blundered this one ... when it's known, I'm sure they won't be getting a job at NBC or CBS! Your parents did a FINE job ... what I love most about you (and it's hard to choose because there are SO many reasons) is your confidence to be who you are ... not who other people think you should be. Keep rocking!
Great interview, funny and oh boy you are so right about girl doing performances for years like yours at the AMC. To me it was a little too much, I like you better when you sing so I can see you... LOL... and not run around all over... but when that is said.... I got your album... listen to it everyday.... you are amazing, hot, funny and I never gets tired of your laughter.

You're right. In the midst of all this people forgot about the music. I love the you way you go from 1970s Shirley Basset styling in Soaked to 70's rock and disco and before it gets too mellow there is a party track. I appreciate the story woven in how the songs are arranged. There's the title track immediately followed by the song that asks, I've done what you said, what more do you want. Very tongue-and-cheek arrangings....Songs that make people think are good.
