Adam Lambert Headlines The Glam Nation Tour:

Adam Lambert will embark on his first headlining tour, an audio and visual spectacular, both theatrical and atmospheric, that will give his millions of fans something they'll love to listen to and look at. "The Glam Nation Tour" kicks off June 4 in Wilkes Barre, PA. "I hope the audience will be able to escape for a few hours and fall into a world full of glam, drama and excitement," Lambert says. "And I would love everyone to come away with a new appreciation for the music on my album."
Adam's debut album For Your Entertainment (19 Entertainment / RCA Records) has sold over 600,000 copies since making it's debut at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in November. Adam's hit single "Whataya Want From Me," written by Pink and Max Martin, became Adam's first #1 hit on the Billboard charts, topping the Hot Singles Sales survey as well as Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. "Whataya Want From Me" has been a smash hit on many charts, including the Hot 100, Pop Songs, Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary, Hot Digital Songs and Hot Dance Club Play. It has also become an international hit, going top 10 in Australia, Japan, Sweden and Finland and reaching #1 in Singapore.
It's not just the single and album that have been international sensations; it's Adam himself. He was mobbed at airports in Japan and Singapore, and was a media sensation in Scotland, where he showed up in a kilt. Germany fell in love with Adam at first sight, and his single is now surging up the German charts.

Adam's performances on Season 8 of "American Idol" are already legendary, his live televised collaborations with Queen and KISS were a highlight of his season and his stunning performances of songs including "Mad World," "The Tracks Of My Tears," "Ring Of Fire" and "Whole Lotta Love" are still widely regarded as some of the most captivating moments in Idol history.
Opening for Adam on "The Glam Nation Tour" will be 25-year-old guitar goddess Orianthi and, on select shows fellow Season 8 "American Idol" finalist Allison Iraheta.
Orianthi has already performed with some of the biggest names in music: Carlos Santana, Carrie Underwood, Steve Vai, Michael Jackson and most recently Mary J Blige. She has also had incredible success on her own with the release of her debut album Believe (Geffen) last fall and first single "According To You." Radio and fans were quick to embrace "According To You," propelling it to the top of the charts where it was the No. 2 most played song in the country with digital sales of over one million. Her new single, "Shut Up & Kiss Me," is sure to follow suit as it begins to be added to radio station playlists.
"I was lucky enough to work with Orianthi on the 'Sleepwalker' track on my album," says Adam. "She is a killer guitarist and a great vocalist. I'm so excited to be sharing the stage with her."
At 18, Allison Iraheta has already begun to make her mark in the music industry. After coming in fourth on Season 8 of "American Idol," this vibrant red-haired rocker was signed to 19 Recordings/Jive Records, and released her debut album, Just Like You, this past December. Her first single, "Friday I'll Be Over U," quickly climbed the top 40 charts. Allison is currently gracing the cover of the May issue of Latina Magazine.
"I am such a fan of Allison's music and I am so excited for her to perform it live in front of an audience," says Adam. "We have such a great brother and sister energy, having shared the stage both on American Idol and on the tour this summer. She is pure rock and roll."
"The Glam Nation Tour" launches June 4 at the F.M. Kirby Performing Arts Center in Wilkes Barre, PA and will work its way to eight more cities in June, with more summer dates to be announced. Tickets for the first date go on sale [date to come].

Does anyone know what the difference is between Glam Nation Tour and Radio Concert? The only concert I can see that is different is the Toronto concert at Molson Amphitheatre, and that's the one I want to go to.
I checked Allison Iraheta's website and she's not even listed to go to the Toronto concert, and I was hoping to see her live too.
I hope I can get a ticket for the June 19th Toronto concert. Based on the majority of the comments here it looks like tickets are sold out before they even go on sale somehow :S

Madison loved Adam since she was 3 years old. She recently turned 5 and wants to see him. She knows all of his songs and it is so cute to see her singing them. Hopefully a show will open for Hershey or Reading - something in a bigger venue. Keeping our fingers crossed that we will be taking Madison to her first concert soon!

either we got lucky, or the ticket hoarders aren't concerned with 6-10 in Iowa. It's about a 650 mile drive for us (we were hoping for a stop in Denver) but I'd rather road trip NOW than take my chances later. I went to NIN lights in the cky twice... and was not as excited to see them as I am Adam. I've spent so much time on youtube watching all, and I mean ALL, of his concerts, I can't believe I actually get to go to one!

I was able to get tickets to Mystic Lake - but when I go back just for fun now and try to get any tickets it says that there are none available. Interesting that Mystic Lake is going with the Will Call only - so no scalpers! Ticket purchases are really limited on a per person/credit card/email etc. basis and are only available for pick up on the afternoon of the concert with I.D. and the card used to purchase the tickets. Yea! for Mystic Lake. It sounds like all venues need to do something similar to eliminate this mass purchasing and scalping.

i wasnt able to get tickets yesterday because they sold out in minutes:( i was on the computer waiting at 10 am and still couldnt get through all the scalpers are selling tickets for ridiculous amounts of money
I am SO confused about the tickets for this concert. I too did not get tickets pre-sale or at 10:00am on May1. Very frustrating. BUT now I am looking at tickets from other sellers, and don't understand the "general admission" concept here. Well, actually I DO understand it, but to me this translates into having to camp out in line all day to get a good seat. I want to bring my kids to the show (wondering if Adam know how many parents want to bring their kids), and won't be able to get there that early during the week. Will there be "seating" at all or will this be like a nightclub scene which is what it sounded like Starlight was going to be initially. Anyway, it seems like a total mob scene and I just want an assisgned seat if I am going to spend over $500 for me and my family to get in. I waited for this for SOOO long, as many others have, and am very disappointed. Can anyone shed any light on this and also let me know when they think people will start lining up to see this show? Maybe they are just trying to NOT have moms or moms with kids at this concert.

SO glad I live in Milwaukee!! Almost broke my friend's eardrum over the phone when we were looking at the tour dates/locations, and I saw that he's coming HERE! WHOOT! Went to the Fantasy Springs concert - it was amazing - and now I get to see the Glam Nation Tour without dealing with airport security? Life is GOOD!

i cant go to any of his concerts because he wont be coming close enough to were i live in southeast oklahoma.... but maybe one of these days i will get to one... in fact i think the closest that adam is coming to where im at is in kansas city MO... and even then i have to go to band camp for the week that he is coming to MO.. so mayb next go around??????

10am called ticketmaster on the dot they were sold out for nokia in ny was online 90minutes never got a ticket how can they sell out so fast
I got my Floor tix at Nokia. Unfortunately I got them from Ebay. Not to bad a deal, but, it pisses me off that Ticketmaster sold out to the Scalpers! Everyone can't afford to pay scalper prices, and I feel so bad for those who can't go to see Adam because of that, it's not fair. Staying in the city that night in case Adam wants to party with his fans( hint hint)! HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE? Looking forward to a great night. Adam GOOD LUCK!
I really hope Adam does another tour in bigger venues without all this "tickets are sold out before they go on sale" bulls***. I tried and waited so patiently for both the presale and the sale of tickets for the MN Mystic Lake Casino show. 3 Minutes after the tickets went on sale I was told they were sold out by both Ticketmaster website and person on the phone. Did ANYONE actually get tickets this way ? Or is everyone just relying on stubhub and other scalpers ? I am pissed off, I guess I don't get to see Adam. Why the hell did they not put him in a stadium? He easily could have sold enough tickets.
I am so upset. I've been trying to get tickets since PreSale was announced for dates at the Borgata & Nokia Theatre. I could not get even one ticket! So I figured, ok, I'll wait for the General Sale on 5/1/10. Like many others, I, too, was on my computer before 10AM, and of course, I still couldn't get one ticket. But if I went on Ebay or other ticket broker sites, guess what? I could have my pickings of tickets to buy at astronomical prices. This is so UNFAIR!!! I Love Adam and would Love to see him in concert, but I refuse to buy from these, in my opinion, thieves. These people, companies, or whomever they are, steal from all of us who try to buy our tickets legitimately. I really hope, with some miracle, that Adam or his people read our comments so they know what is going on with his ticket sales. Maybe if enough artists stand up against these ticket scammers, these unfair practices will one day be stopped and REAL fans can finally get to see their favorite artists without having to go into debt.
Got through at the Borgota at 10:10 am, they said sold out, am in a wheelchair so needed handicap accessible tickets. Broke down and went to stubhub and ofcourse paid more than the real tickets, general admission, just hope my 12 year old granddaughter and I can get close enough that I can see in my wheel chair!
Well both of NYC show are SOLD OUT.. It must have happen in seconds seeing i was already on line at 10 to purchase my tix and NOTHING.. Now hoping for Connecticut..This time I will have at least 2 other people helping me out..

Had no luck getting presale tickets on Wednesday, even with the Code...to either Nokia Theatre in NYC or Borgata in AC. Figured ok...I'll get tickets on Saturday when they go on sale to the general public and more tickets are released.
Sat patiently at my computer...my husband at his...9:58, 9:59, GO! Well...how frustrating is the entire ticket process in that neither myself or my husband could get a single ticket this morning...despite having been at the ready at 10:00am sharp. I mean...the concert ticket business has got to be a total scam. How come I can't get a single ticket and then I can go on eBay or Stub Hub and literally HUNDREDS of tickets are available? It completely defies logic. The ticket scalpers and brokers are HACKERS and have a method that we...Adam's fans...don't have. It is the worst kind of greedy I've every seen in my life. Now probably 80% of Adam's fans...who...like myself...will eventually buy tickets through a broker...will be putting our hard earned money in the pockets of not Adam...but the greedy group who mastermind this deplorable situation.
I am pissed off.

As I posted yesterday I caved in and bought 2 tickets for Borgata. I paid really some money for it. I never thought in a million years that I would ever be able to buy any of Adam's tickets regular price. So, I called at 9:59:45s and I got through. So, I got the LAST row- 2 tickets. At 10:00 she told me there were only 2 pairs of 2 tickets and they were both on the back. So, I got one pair of 2 tickets. Either for 2 of my friends or to help someone here. Now my dilemma is what t ask for them. I don't want to make money out of them, that would be absurd. But selling them regular price would hurt me since I paid quad-ripple price yesterday.
Sorry for everyone who tried and tried. I was in your shoes for the pre-sale and yesterday. I was so frustrated. How could there be only 2 pairs of 2 sitting tickets at 10:00? I was sure I was probably the first call this morning.
At least I hope the prices go down on ebay that the devoted fans would be able to find something.

OK, I am freaking out, 12 minutes left until the phone lines open for the Borgota concert. My 12 year old granddaughter and I are sitting here just hoping we can get 2 handicap accessible tickets. I am a 60 year old grandmom who LOVES Adam. 7 minutes. 2 minutes. 1 minute. Trying to get through on 2 phones, busy, busy, busy. Oh no, busy, busy, busy. Got through, on hold, freaking out! 10 minutes on hold. Told I have to call another number, is the number I called. Then said no more reserved seats, then asked me to hold. Yikes! Oh no, sold out including handicap seating. I am ready to cry! How can it be sold out in 16 minutes?

I didn't see this posted here, but they have added a second show at the Nokia in NY on June 23rd. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning 5/1 at 10am EST NO PRESALE.
