Adam Lambert Performs On Good Morning America August 7
Adam Lambert will take part in Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series on August 7th, appearing with fellow American Idol alums, David Cook and Kris Allen in New York City's Central Park!
Good Morning America airs live from 7 to 9AM EST, with concert performances usually starting around 8:30AM. And for those wishing to attend the concert IN PERSON, entry is FREE and takes place on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 6AM on the day of show.

Only a few more days till the GMA concert! Hopefully Adam will be feeling better (I keep hearing rumors that he's currently "under the weather"). I've actually met lots of famous actors and musicians, but Adam is the first one who, given the thought of simply seeing him up close, makes me feel butterflies! I'm driving over 4 hours to get to NYC; I just know it's going to be amazing.
Adam, I'm so psyched - I planned a trip to NYC for vacation, not knowing you'd be there...and then realized I'd be able to see you in Central Park during my trip! My husband and I are going to be there bright and early - I cannot wait to hear you sing live! I have tickets to see you in Milwaukee Aug. 28, but now I won't have to wait so long. I will be watching the concert on TV - and will get to see all the Glamberts too. On Adam's first trip to New York - when it was really breezy and the trees were blowing when he was singing outside - that was really neat. Where I catch my bus there is a park that has the same type of trees and the wind is always blowing there too (80%) of the time. And it reminds me of that performance. August 7 will be a great day to remember too. Have a great time - I have been to New York and the magic will be in the air - I know. When you are in the city it is so great - and also when you step into one of the broadway theatres and the musical people start to sing - it just sends chills through your body - An amazing City!
I might as well stay a few days to see the GMA show in New York.

I have been to a couple of shows in NYC, one to see Daughtry on GMA and the other was to see Adam on the Today show. As you probably know, Adam only did the one song and we waited outside for about a half an hour for him to come out only to have the door man tell us he went out an alternate exit. On GMA, it's usually only 1 performer and they do a lot of non-televised "warm up" songs and then 2 televised songs. Afterwards the performer was swept away by bodyguards so we didn't get a chance to meet Daughtry. So who knows what he will get to do with 3 performers on the same day

how fitting that adam get's to play central park, while the idol tour never sees manhattan (or nyc for that matter -- NJ and Nassau r not in NYC!!). we've seen a lot of u this week adam -- betw the young hollywood award, the awesome RS cover and then the 20/20 interview. i've enjoyed every minute of it (esp. those little clips of new music -- like "fame" on 20/20 -- almost made me willing to suffer the AI concert, but still think it would just be way too frustrating an experience!). here's to hearing the music/talking music/not having to make believe it's big news to u that you're gay (or to anyone else -- though do love how u express yourself! it's utterly charming, but that sponteneity might be deadly in hollywood. . .). see u in august! yessss

I really love Adam. I think it has been about 20 years since I joined anyone's fan club. Adam has made me feel like a teen again! My daughter and I love him and I love his ability to make the old new again. I loved the song "Mad World" but I have to say that his version beats the pants off the origional!!! Absolutely haunting. We will be in NYC...no doubt about it.

Way to go ADAM. You're still rocking Billboard's top albums! Here's a snippet I got from an article on the latest Billboard charts released this week: "Adam Lambert’s 'greatest hits” of the season collection held onto a spot on the Billboard 200, albeit at #182 it is 130 spots lower than last week. Kris’ collection, however, has dropped off the charts altogether. Adam’s album is #24 on Top Independent Albums."

...I do miss his weekly performances on AI.
I will be seeing him 2 days in a row in August because I have AI tickets to his concert the next day after seeing him in Central Park. That will be so cool.
I only wish he had his own weekly TV show.

Now I'm curious. Wonder what he will sing. I hope it is comething new that might be on his upcoming CD. I've watched AI for 7 seasons (I missed the first one) and this was the best one. Adam made it so special. What a voice!!!! Can't wait for his CD.

Just to think that Adam will perform in the Big Apple lights my fire. I know he is kinda Mr. Hollywood, but I want him to feel comfortable in NYC as well. My friends that are bI-costal always say that NYers are less pretentious and down to earth. Having Adam less that 3000 miles away and a chance to see him live is more than I can live with. This will be a great day in Central Park.

Adam lost to Kris Allen at the hitz.fm poll...His song will never be played again...
For sure everyone watching this will be waiting for Adam to perform and I will be one of that group. No one had the talent or vocal range he possess. He has a talent that hasn't come onto the sceen for decades now. His range is incredible and I compare him to Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison and that is saying something. He even outdid Freddie's performance when Adam performed with Queen on Idol. Talent such is his is extremely rare and it's just too bad America got it so very wrong again this year. Just goes to prove that show is not actually about finding the best talent in this country. Adam will most likely end up being the International star they were seeking. Their loss not Adam's. He is about to come the next mega star of this country and internationally.
