I dislike very much what happens to AI originals once they get put in the hands of the "professionals". Adam has the most amazing voice, the most amazing instincts of any artist in this generation. But the snippets are so filled with overlays and background music that to hear his signature style....well I don't. I want Adam to have complete creative control. I want to hear Adam sing. I do not want to hear the same type of first CD released by most Idol contestants. He is sooooo much more than that. Let this first CD make a huge amount of money....then Adam, darling star, take your time with the 2nd and do it your way. I will buy this one, because I want the world to recognize they are seeing a "one of a kind talent". I want him to have a long and successful career. It's pure selfishness on my part...I love hearing him sing.

Haven't heard anything from the album yet except FYE, which is outrageously awesome and perfect in every way. Can't stop listening. I agree with you, mediabias, Adam is not one, but all genres and does them all with style, grace, and charisma - and let's not forget that voice. OMG! I think the gurus do "get him" and hope they don't put him in a box. Let the creative juices flow!

Heard album snippets today online. I really can't even say how moving this compilation is. Musically every single song is excellent and Adam's interpretation and performance over the moon beautiful. (of course we knew it would be) But for me, it's a really serious album not something thrown together for a timeline. True to his word "I can't sing something I don't love"...he wrote and chose songs that he obviously loves. They throw his heart out there on the floor and say "THIS IS ME".

Fitting his vision of an album without ONE genre but ALL genres - meaningful lyrics with a message, uniquely blending his love for classic rock with a new sound, and cohesion throughout the album....leaves you speechless. Even the dance songs like FYE are done for a purpose and message. This release is a tribute to his love of music and his fans. The songs he co-wrote are stellar. And clearly his industry collaborators love and respect him, they "got him" and there is not a single throwaway song on this release. Nobody else has done this and I suggest it's the best music money you'll spend. He's created HIS OWN sound.

And in one breathless track he begs "need a second to breathe"...if you don't cry during this album you haven't met Adam Lambert and you're not listening. I suggest you do.

Love it, simply BRILLIANT!

I have to say I love it of course,
but there are a few things i would recommend
Adam you have a beautiful voice
Let us hear it a little more!
I love the music itself, I do...
But maybe if it was a little bit less overpowering so we could hear more Adam?
Does that make any sense?

I voted for Adam 50 times every week and couldn't wait to hear his first single. I have to say I'm disappointed, perhaps because the hype was just too great. We were led to believe that Adam's music was going to be like something we'd never heard before and I'm afraid I've heard this type of song before. It sounds very Britney Spears to me. Very generic and overproduced. Adam does not NEED to be overproduced like Britney because he can actually sing. C'mon Adam. Give us something great. Hoping the rest of the album is A LOT better. Don't take reject songs from other artists, which is what this sounds like. Even Time for Miracles is better than this -- at least it has a melody and allows your voice to soar.

I'm a huge fan of Adam's BUT this song is disappointing because we can't hear his voice--the production completely overshadows it. Also, it sounds almost exactly like Rihanna's SOS. I hope that there will be songs on the CD where Adam's vocals come through. I don't want to hear the unoriginal wizardry of a producer, I want to hear the magic of Adam's voice, and I certainly want to hear Adam's music in a way that it is unique to him. A talent this great deserves that.

This song is so different than the songs Adam has sung and I absolutely love it. It makes me feel like getting up and dancing. I've been playing it in my office over and over and anyone that walks in just starts bopping to the music. It's amazing. I can't wait for the album. I just ordered the deluxe set and I already pre-ordered from Amazon.

Great song Adam, and love the new single and the picture. Your awesome and I am looking forward to the Album coming out. Keep up the great talent that you have.

I am a big Adam Lambert fan and think he is one of the greatest vocalists of all time.

However, this song SUCKS!

It does nothing to show Adam's vocal abilities. He does not need his voice worked over by a synthesizer.

I paid almost $30 for his CD. I hope the rest of it is not this aweful or it will go into the trash can instead of into my ipod.

this is definitely not my kind of music and i do not think it showcases the outstanding vocal talent or uniqueness that is adam. that said, because i will give anything he does a chance, i have listened to it over and over (and sent the links to everyone i know who hits the club scene!) -- and now i like it! i hear him -- and mostly, i hope that he himself is thrilled with it. i'm sure he'll rock something out more to my taste on his album. will love him no matter what.

I must admit. At first, I did NOT like this song. My first thought was, "he sounds like Brittney Spears". However, being a true-blue Adam fan I kept listening to the song. Now, I cannot get enough of it. The song is stuck in my head. Adam, hats off to you and I apologize for briefly not believing in you. You are a true genius and I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album (I still have my fingers crossed that there will be lots of "whole lotta love" adam on the album )
