Well, I've tried to post this e-mail twice...a version one more time....

Adam, during your AL journey, your gifted talents gained fans from all over the world...all ages...young and old...women and men...straight and gay. Your natural sex appeal and your incredible singing voice was already charting your path to be placed into a category of a hand full of singers who are or who have become iconic legends.

Authentic...hum. Yes, most fans desired to have you perform in a way that was familiar to them, but your AMA performance didn't feel authentic. Your magical voice and natural sex appeal and beauty was lost in the translation through bad choreography, poor sound system, and your claimed self-expression that you projected out into the TV world. It all felt very disconnected. There was no natural flow to the performance.

You could have reached far more people through your freedom of self-expression through outstanding choreography, a great sound system, your natural sex appeal and beauty, which would have been more in alignment with your creative spirit. I'm most surprised that you missed this opportunity to perform at the potential that you have at the level of Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc. You appeared to be such a perfectionist on AI, how did you not see this AMA performance unfolding...?

Adam you are a great singer with your unbelievable vocals. I haven't really felt strongly about a muscial artist for last 10 years until watching you on AI. I never picked up the phone to vote in past seasons until you. I want your career to take off and remain up there for years to come. I don't hate your performance last night and I still support you . I was more worried and wondered if that was a good business move on your part. You had great strategies on AI and brought you all the way to the final. You've reached out and touched people's emotions. You had such big fan base from AI that your CD presale number was awesome. With last night's performance, I'm afraid you've lost a lot of your fans and not gaining any new ones. It saddens me to read some of the fan's comments about leaving. I'm sure that last night's shocking performance will generate talks and gossips, but they won't be about how great of a singer you truly are. I saw the interview you had with Access Hollywood after the show and I totally agreed with you regarding the freedom to express yourself as a artist. I just don't want you to turn off so many fans and hurt your record sales. Then why bother going on AI in the first place to get yourself known? You could have stayed where you were in small clubs and performed with total freedom and appealed to just a small subset of the general population. Please be smart about your career!

I really loved the perfomance on the AMA's and after seeing it realized why you closed the show. The little kids should have been in bed by then. I don't think most of the people leaving these comments even think about that. I am so glad you were yourself. I, too, thought the sound could've been better but that wasn't your fault. Also, I didn't realize you stumbled. I thought the cute little roll was choreographed! You covered so well. I thought the performance overall was hot and screamed "Adam Lambert"! More please!!!

Yet another huge fan that was alienated last night. I was so relieved that my kids were in bed! I have preordered your cd or I would not be buying it. But- there is a big part of me that wants to give you another chance!

I will be watching to see if you come back around to the type of person and perfomer we saw on American Idol and on tour. (yes I saw the concert and loved it but this was way past the sexy guy I saw on tour and just plain vulgar). My daughter has pictures of you in her room that will be taken down until you return to the realm of some level of decency. I hope they let you on GMA to redeem yourself.

I have already heard on the radio this morning on our local pop music station that "the only way to let networks and artists know they are over the top is to not support them or buy their music". You need to do something.....

I'm an older fan of yours, Adam, but so disappointed in your performance last night. It became about dancers, and a statement instead of about you as a singer. I can't even tell you about your song, because there was so much going on around you. I was looking forward to buying your new CD, but if I had not known about your talents prior to this performance I would not be buying it. I think this was a moment in time that you had the opportunity to embrace all ages of music fans, but you forgot about the simple fact of just allowing us to embrace your beautiful singing voice.

As far as my comments on the AMA performance, you are talented. However, being ALL fans from ALL age groups couldn't wait to see you, I feel the rawness of the performance should have been age appropriate. You covered your slip with a roll and hope you were not hurt. You are fantastic and hope the inappropriateness of last evenings performance will not dampen it.

Just REMEMBER, not everyone will love the raunchiness of the performance. Keep it clean if you know there is a possibility that kids will be watching. They are impressionable and if it is offensive to the parents you will lose sales and fans.

Adam, I found the AMA performance somewhat disappointing, because I was expecting an awesome bass-heavy dancebeat supporting your flawless singing. Somehow, the sound mixing and the running around didn't seem to bring that out. I love how you like to be OTT and I personally enjoyed the racy show, but adding so many dancers for example does take the camera away from you. Fans like to watch and listen to YOU.
You have such incredible talent. Your voice is absolutely out of this world, you are so deliciously handsome and you totally thrill people with this winning combination. That alone is more than enough to win new people over and build up a huge fanbase besides AI.
As a business man, invest in that for the live performances and safe the extra creativity for in the more appropiate settings and the video clips. That way you catch 2 flies in one hand: the more conservative fans and the open minded ones.
I would hate to see you crash and burn before you ever take off.

As a gay man living in the south I really would like to see someone with the talent & influence like Adam do something good for the collective gay community. My mom is very accepting & is in love with him lol. But I can see why she didn't really appreciate the performance at the AMA's tonight. I wasn't offended at all & actually really enjoyed the performance & everyone has to admit it was very entertaining. My only problem with it is I feel like his choreographers have made it where he's having to run around & do all these things that subtract from the enormously fantastic voice he has. Also, although I hate admitting that we do live in an overly conservative country, we do. There is a double standard for "sluttiness" with men & women (especially gay men...) & sadly, we have to try to get those people on our sides & going about it this way isn't going to make that happen. He has the gay community, his devoted friends from Idol, & the people who have fallen in love with his new album on his side. he has to go after all those left without his magical voice in their lives. =) Don't let something stupid like people's condemning remarks & conservative views ruin your career & isolate you from them. There has to be some way it can work for everyone. I am also a Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, Britney Spears, etc.. fan. SO I'm used to this kind of stuff & it doesn't bother me at all. I just don't want to see your career fade away.

ADAM, as busy a you are I do hope you or someone who is important in keeping track of your fan base reads these posts. I'm another die-hard fan of yours who has been so happy for your success & eagerly awaiting your new cd. I have played the snippets and like a lot of what I heard in 30 seconds. As an ex-theatrical actress/singer I can appreciate all that you are on and off-stage. What I think "we" the fans love more than anything about you is your amazing voice along with your theatrical presence & down to earth personality. I know Idol is not really what you want to put forth as far as what your about but tonight's performance on AMA did nothing but make you look like an attention-seeking amateur. Sorry, shock has been done in my eyes, being different for the sake of being different is not creative…it's trying to hard. You can be sexual…you can be artistic…but when the vocal talent comes second to a mish-mash of a sloppy S&M bisexual-choreographed disaster something is terribly wrong. You are a Freddy Mercury caliber vocalist, don't think the hype is good even if it's negative, Being a class act vocalist is different right now, it' s hotter than you can imagine as no one can touch your range, presence…need I say more!! I will be at Best Buy tomorrow buying "For Your Entertainment" cuz I'm still a huge fan who hopes to see you around in a years to come!

I thought the performance was brilliant ... my husband and I watched it several times . There seems to have been technical difficulty with the music at one point and Adam was nervous his vocals didn't sound 100% but...

Bravo Adam .... we were definitely entertained

to those of you who are shocked and disappointed get over it .... Adam is brilliant .... they said the same thing about Elvis and he became a legend .

Again, your performance was that of an untalented, desperate man. I used to be a big fan of yours. My ringtone is Mad World..fitting, cause I'm mad now ! What the heck ! ? !

The man on A.I. had enormous talent...the man on the AMA's is nothing more than a joke. I heard very little applause after that sorry display.

Thanks for making everyone who didn't vote for you happy they didn't...and those of us who did, angry for being foolish to believe the man we loved existed.

With one performance you ruined your career and put one over on your fans.

So.... I have a question. Are you satisfied with your performance ? Are you really happy with the man you see there ?

If this is what we're in for, I hope your career is over. We don't need that kind of filth in our living rooms. It was sad...very sad, Adam to see you lower yourself to that level.

I can't believe it. I have been waiting for this performance for so long and was very disappointed. Adam had been doing so very well...what happened? Maybe too much going on on stage for him to concentrate on the vocals. Excessive explicit sexual content in the dance was just nasty. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Too over the top for me - disgusting. I am sorry that someone felt that all of the "extras" presented tonight was necessary for someone that is such a true talent. Hopefully Adam will reconsider whoever his advisers were on this performance and fire the hell out of them.

You are such a promising young man. I have never been this excited over a performer. Hope you reconsider tonight and get back into doing what you were meant to do...Sing and just look gorgeous. Believe me, you do not need all those extra embarrassments. I am not giving up on you! I know you are far better than this!

Adam, you really screwed up tonight. So many of your fans have been supporting you, and waiting to hear your voice and see you move, but tonight was AWFUL. Way over the top, tasteless, ugly even. Our TV station actually bleeped out a part, which after reading what it was, am glad they did! Who is the world decided how the performance would be? Too bad. You need to play to your audience, or you will not be invited back to where you've been or to where you want you go. Think about it - don't be selfish, we want to hear YOU sing. Just YOU! xxxADAMxxx

Adam, I really love you. But some of the antics on stage tonight at the AMA's I could have done without. I hope this doesnt hurt your record sales or your reputaion. You needed this to be a really big night but I am worried some people were turned off instead.Hope not too many. Next performance on prime time TV needs to be toned way down and show us more of the Adam we grew to love and respect. You really are a great artist and can be mesmerizing. Go back to that before its too late!

Did Adam Fall or was the fall & roll part of thw show? I re-played it several times and it sounded like a mistake and a fall but I am not sure. I LOVE Adam but not sure about the performance.

Oh, Adam -- I'm one of your biggest fans, I've downloaded every video and every song from AI, bought your songs as soon as I could and even pre-ordered your album -- but you really, really totally blew it on tonight's AMA's..
I totally get that you want to be seen as an individual and that sexual orientation shouldn't matter -- and it doesn't to me. I have always loved your over-the-top personality but you always showed a lot of class along with your incredible talent.. But tonight I think you really let me and millions of other fans down. We've been supporting you and eagerly awaiting your performance but it's like you just couldn't help yourself... you had to revert back to the Zodiac club style performance and it was disgusting. You turned me totally off with the weird, blatantly hypersexual debacle and it didn't come off as sexy, just desperate and pathetic. How could you??? The whips & gyrations were no big deal but grinding that guy's face in your crotch, sticking your tongue down the other guy's throat, the girl rubbing your crotch -- and to top it all off, you didn't even sound good. If I hadn't already bought the song, there's no way your performance tonight would've made me want to download it... I'm so disappointed -- why did you do it?? Were you trying to "Out Gaga Lady Gaga"? Because you made her look tasteful and classy in comparison... I'm so let down and disappointed.

The new site looks very good! Much better than before. I love the huge Adam pictures on the left side of all the pages. And just the whole layout looks amazing. Thanks many times for all the great changes!!

I love the cosmic theme of the new look! New Age junkie I am, and the astrology glyphs just made me realize something. Adam has the same "primal triad" (meaning the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant signs which are the most significant personality factors in a birthchart) as John Lennon. If I'm not mistaken, Adam has Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Libra, and Aries rising (ascending). The only difference with Lennon is that John's Sun was in Libra and Moon in Aquarius. And realizing that, I can definitely see that Adam and John have some qualities in common. Astrologer Steven Forrest assigns the archetypes of Artist (Libra), Genius or Revolutionary (Aquarius), and Daredevil or Warrior (Aries) to these three signs. Do you agree these describe Adam???
