What a fascinating interview! I never before realized that there is such a close relationship between style and music. Now that I think about it there is definitely a relationship between style, music and what is happening in the general culture. Think about the short dresses and the particular music of the 1920's and 1960's and the partying that is associated with both. I had never realized that fashion guru's derive their ideas from the music of the time. It is cool to know that. I knew that if I hung around with you I would learn new facts and ideas. The competition over who is taller is so funny. Being 5' 2" I gave up worrying about people being taller than me a long time ago. I am trying to remember if the shiny boots you mentioned are the same ones that turned into a muffet in Canada. So you see yourself as glam, sheek (I hope I spelled that right) and playful. I guess all of that flirting you do that so kills me is part of the playfulness. I would have to add that you are also a creative genius. I wondered why your videos have such a strong effect on me. All of the fashion and style you custom make for them must be part of it. I would also add that you are an individualist-you express who you are through multiple modalities and the result is as beautiful as any starry night or awe-inspiring sunrise. I knew someone once who drew a picture of himself with powerful waves of creativity and expression radiating from him. That is how I see you. If I could draw that is how I would draw you. You are close to the Source.
Love the Interview and I adore Adam's style! He knows himself so well and does a great job of expresssing it! I love to see what he's doing so I can think of ways to incorporate that into my outfits. I love being punk and edgy and different and knows how to do that better than anyone.
Again, Adam, this was a great interview! You really know your fashion and style facts, and can easily explain your personal style! It was fun and enlightening to listen to this segment. Thanks!
It took a few months, but you've made a fan out of me. The harder I fought not to like an AI alum, the more I liked. I LOVE your style and I bought your album today and am VERY much impressed. You're an amazing talent and I hope to hear more from you.
I do love how you put together your different looks. The only other fashion was connected to a musician, in my opinion, is back when Carnaby Street (London) fashion became a hit when the Beatles came to America. I remember my sister. They helped make a statement about fashion by bringing attention to that look. Miniskirts, John (Lennon) hats, boots, Laura Ashley, even paper dresses, right into the 70s. And of course, the hair. Thanks for stepping out of the box Adam.
It really is nice to see a male music icon wearing something other than baggy jeans and a flannel shirt. That look spans everything from garage bands to hip hop, the only thing that separates the look is their accessories. So yeah, love the glam, the chic, the playful! And Adam looks good in everything! Seriously. I look forward to the day Adam has his own fashion line on the market.
why can't I see these videos?? Anyone else able to see them?
So Adam what where you miss quoted about now???? The Susan Boyle comments??? I know you did not say that because you would only respect someone breaking into the industry correct? You know how that feels. She can sing; she is just the polar opposite from you. I wish the media would just quite digging up dirt and half truths. You are about to hit Europe on tour and you do not need this crap. I feel your frustration at times when I read this "stuff" people print to annoy and bring negative light to your career. I only see good in you and it makes very unhappy to see this.
These interviews are so enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. There's nothing more cool than being real. You're blazing quite a trail.

.
Love hearing Adam talk about his fashion inspirations and how it goes along with his music inspirations. Cute interview -- Adam has great expression when he talks. And he is inspiring to all of us! Thanks!
Oh Adam, I know you only looked at the jacket price tag out of curiosity since were gonna buy it regardless. LOL
Visuals have always been a big part of the concert experience for me so I've always preferred seeing entertainers "dress up" for their concerts (glam, chic, classic. etc). I call it "The Full Effect". Female entertainers tend to go for it; males, not so much. Except for a few, most male entertainers dress like they're doing a country concert whether they are or not. Keep doing your thing, Adam.
Hello Adam, wanted to tell you keep up the great work...I love your CD alot!!
I have you on my twitter as well! :-)* smooches.
Okay so tell me again why he didnt WIN AI????!!!!! Adam is awesome, I just keep loving the album more and more
Thanks for your creativity and for sharing it with us!
Can't view the video. Seems like only U.S. viewers can watch. Webmaster can you fix this?
Hi Adam! I have sons who are 9 years old and identical twins. And since they were 6, JJ has wanted his own look. He wants his own identity, and I can't blame him, people can't tell them apart. And poor guy, every time he's tried a different look, his twin ends up liking it and there goes his individuality. Not too long ago, we watched you on Oprah, and he instantly liked your look. He loves the hair, clothes and shoes. And especially the outfit you wore in the "Time for Miracles" video. (I'm sorry, but I feel he's too young for make-up. I didn't let his big sisters wear any till they were 16.) He has begged me every day, practically, to dye his hair and so on. So I did last night, a temp dye for now and he's beaming. Lol, now he's constantly in front of the mirror trying to get his hair to lay like yours. HIs twin has no intrest in the look since he can't stand his hair in his face, so that tickles JJ even more. Can I ask, how do I go about getting the correct hairstyle for him? And any ideas how to get the style of clothes for someone his size? LoL Not your typical comment huh?
Please let Canadian fans watch it too. Or somebody who is able to watch, please post it on youtube.
I LOVE adam's interviews . its funny thinking tht he ws fighting with Gene Simmons about if he should or should not wear the boots. I lov adam's fashion and now i kno why he has such an awesome taste of clothes
This was a fascinating interview and offered a lot of insight into your style, which I so enjoy. May I also take the liberty of saying, oh my gravy, I don't think you've ever looked more purdy than you do in this video. Thanks for giving an old lady a thrill.
