One more question.
So the concert is on Walnut St. Bridge but I've heard that you line up on the west side of the Locust St. Bridge. Is that right or wrong? I'm getting there about 1:00 or so and I'm hoping I know where to line up!
Thank you!
@acvitosh
You can search Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheater
I'm staying at Embassy Suites-On the River (Des Moines, IA) and it's right besides Simon Estes Amph and Walnut street is next to it. The concert will be on the bridge.
hope this helps
God, I can't be there!!!!!!!!!!
( So sad I can't see you, Adam, this is my biggest wish!!!!!
LOVE YOU so much, sweetheart!!!! don't forget that!
Could anybody possibly help me with directions? Like the address of the bridge or what street it's on? I'm so lost and can't find the address anywhere! Once I know the address I can mapquest it.
Thank you!
Wherever, whatever, it'll still be great to see and hear Adam. I'll be bringing a little pair of binocs along with my glow sticks. It would be nice if they had some big screens to make it easier for all to see. Party on the Bridge....lets make it fun!
Well I'm bummed. The bridge? The only people who will be able to see him will be those within tongue diving distance. The amphitheater is on a hill so everyone can see.
It is at Walnut Street Bridge. The Simon Estes Amphitheater has been flooded the entire summer so all of the concerts scheduled there have been moved. The Bridge is within a block of the Amphitheater, so no worries:)
I don't get it either. I bought my tickets the first day they were available, in person, and carried them away with me. They have Simon Estes Amphitheater printed on them.
What exactly changed from what to what????? Is this article supposed to read that it is somewhere other than the amphitheater??? Why was this aritcle written?
What's going on? The original venue was for the Simon Estes Amphitheater and the Walnut Street Bridge was the location it would move to if the amphitheater had not dried out from the floods. I don't understand the entry above: "The show will NOW be held at "Simon Estes Amphitheater (Walnut Street Bridge)." Granted the 2 locations are very close so if you've found 1 location you're bound to find the other, but they are 2 separate locations. They will block the bridge off to traffic if they have moved it to the Walnut Street Bridge. The Amphitheater apparently sits alongside the river closeby on grass. I'd like to be sure ahead of time exactly where it is & I'm sure there are others that want to be sure too.
