Wow, is he gorgeous or what?? He is soooo amazing. His voice takes my breath away. Adam, keep on being yourself. You are a true superstar and I support you always.
His performance was excellent on Letterman...as are all of his performances, as far as I'm concerned.
I watched the AMA's and I kept saying "right on!" all through the performance as my wife and I watched.
People who were "offended" by the performance seem to have short memories... I don't remember all these uproars when Ellen Kissed a woman on her sitcom...or when Roseanne Barr did the same... I don't remember the uproar as Freddy Mercury, clad in S&M leather, wound through the crowds of adults AND teens while gyrating through "Get Down, Make Love". I don't remember any rants over Madonna practically swallowing women's and men's faces and riding them like a couple of dogs all while wearing cone-bras at live performances where teenage girls by the thousands faithfully gathered and professed their undying love for her. Brittany [Spears], Shakira, and Christina [Aguilera] have made it a life-long habit of virtually "getting it on" with a host of people and by themselves in widely broadcast music videos (thinking of Shakira, off the top of my head" on one of the reality shows recently...Dancing with the Stars? maybe?).
Let's not forget Prince's fantastic, but highly sexually charged performances of "Darling Nikki" on the big screen as well as live performances, not to mention many other performers.
So many stars, both great and small, have gyrated on stage and performed near-sex acts on members of the video or live performance cast and crew...as well as audience members, over the past 40 years.
Why is it so terrible when Adam does it?
I think both ABC and the public-at-large have completely overreacted to the performance. I found it a fantastic spectacle reminiscent of many performances I've enjoyed over the years, as a teen, adult, and parent.
I can only hope Adam doesn't kowtow to the detractors...Just keep doing what you do. It's refreshing as well as very entertaining.

Agreed. It was a mistake. Time to get over the ama's. But I think you have to realize that, although some of this criticism is simply a personal view, some of it comes from love and fear and concern for what effect it will have on Adam's career. He was acting out a character - understood. But a lot of people were not yet familiar with Adam. I believe people were looking for an extraordinarily artistic performance that would make them jump out of their seats screaming. Anybody can grab a crotch.
It most certainly hurt his bottom line, but he's really, really smart and he'll figure it out.
Having said that, I will never ever again tune into ABC until this ridiculousness comes to an end.
I adore Adam Lambert. If you haven't bought an album yet, go buy two. It is amazing.

It's unfortunate that some people could not see beyond the AMA...Makes us wonder if you were truelly a fan of Adam?!!!...Everyone makes mistakes....He admits that he went too far and if he could do it over, he would probably clean it up a little...What more do you want?...An apology in blood?...His album is wonderful....The video to "For Your Entertainment" is absolutely gorgeous....If after watching the AMA, Adam lost some fans...then they were not true fans....According to this statement, are we to believe that you don't listen to Britney Spears, Madonna, and all others that show any sign of sexual expression?..."Cause the list is more than a mile long, you know. It's really a shame that you feel this way!...He is human, you know...He makes mistakes just like the rest of us...Yes, his was on national television...I think he handled the attacks, the press, ABC, with a lot of gracefulness....Not a lot of artists would have done it this way....What has given him "his big break" is HIS VOICE and TALENT!....Not the songs that he sang on AI!...And he IS being himself, he is a little excentric, a little wild...and that IS part of his charm...It's time to open our minds and stop acting as such puritans ...for we are not as innocent as we want others to think!...

Be on TV, in magazines, theater, or in some music videos, we are bombarded every moment with scenes of sex and when we see a great artist like Adam lambert be a little more daring, we decided to crucify him as if he had started third world war. FOR GOD'S SAKE, enough!! Adam has given several interviews, has said it was a little too far and now wants to continue his life and his career. Buy your CD, enjoy the music and be happy !!!!! Leave the boy alone!!
