This is my absolute favorite track on the CD. I love the disco vibe. The volume goes way up when I listen to this---and then I have to listen to it again and again. I love the naughtiness of the lyrics. I can't help dancing to it. The song ROCKS!!!!

That's how I like it.
I listen to FYE every day as part of my commuting ritual, but FEVER is the song that I always replay 2 or 3 times. While I love everything that Adam sings, FEVER is the best song on the album. At Adam's Highline Ballroom concert, everyone was rocking out to FEVER - clearly the top of the evening.
There has been discussion that "the issue with the malepronoun" could impact radio play for FEVER. Please say no. Please find a way around this. There would be nothing more awesome that seeing Adam sing FEVER on Idol. It would be a #1 smash. Guaranteed.
I have caught the fever. The song is sexy, steamy and cool and it is delivered on steroids by the way you sing it. Lady Gaga and you make an unbeatable team. When Ryan Seacrest interviewed Lady Gaga on his radio show she told him she was shy. His response was, "I don't buy that."

What I like best aboput ths song is the absolute glee in his voice when he says ' yeah, yeah, yeah' and 'baby, you're miiiiiine'. It makes me smile every time I hear Fever!

My daughter and I bought the new CD on a road trip and she filled me in on the "Gaga" connection. Pretty cool bud! We love the CD (I'm 50 & she's 24) and we can both rock out to it. Best CD I've heard .... really since the 70's ... YIKES!
I ws surprised to hear Gaga wrote this. ( I heard it a few days ago but just now getting to it). I love this song and I would love to hear Adam and Gaga perform together whether it be this song or another it would be amazing! Best two artists now!

Fever is my favorite song by FAR...........it never ever fails to pick me up and make me wanna dance, or as Adam would shake yo ass and feel sexy!! I listen to it in the car all the time and surely looke like I'm having a stroke or something by the way I am bouncing around but I play it right before work and then immediately after (cuz my job SUCKS) and I leave it all behind and just dance and enjoy. Thanks to Gaga for this and of course thanks to Adam for doing it so well.

@sestenio~~ It does say "silly," I think because it IS silly (you, me, and a car). The next verse says "kinda" (you, me, and the stars).
I remember the first time I heard it - absolutely picked up on the "there he goes" line, and thought, "you GO, Adam....don't just do gender-neutral pop/dance, put it out there!" Props to you and Lady Gaga for working the song into such an awesome vehicle for your voice and your band!
Adam, I fell in love with "Fever" the very first time I heard just the snippet ... I knew there was something very hooky, catchy and anthemy about this song .... it rocks and the fact that Gaga wrote it makes it even better!
"Fever" is my favorite 'uptempo' song on the entire standard album ... just flove it!!

ok, seriously, Fever is in my top 3 favorite songs from FYE. (The others are Broken Open, and, er, whatever matches my mood at the moment

I have been wanting to bring this question up about the lyrics. There's one place in the liner notes where it's written "silly menage a trois", and that really makes me insane, because I am SURE the real line is "c'est la menage a trois". Isn't it???????? I can't image it would be "silly", that would BE silly. Gaga uses the occasional ooh-la-la (by which I mean an occasional French bon mot) in her other songs, so it makes sense here too.
Love how Adam has to restrain himself from laughing about gettin' groovy when he's talking about the song. lol

I absolutely love this song.It is so upbeat and fun! All five of my granddaughters have different dance moves to it,they love it! They are ranging in ages of 14 thru 18.My daughters and son love the song and teir 35 yrs thru 37 yrs old.My brother and I like it and we're in our 50s ,so it really reaches across all age groups!
