This song is my personal favorite on the album it just has such an amazing vibe to it and I love it soooooooo much I love to dance to it and I love everything about it and Adams voice just makes the song like everything else e does is pure perfection. I listen to his album daily and this song at least 10 times daily...i'm might be a bit obbsessed but as long as its adam I do not care.
I just love the track by track personal touch videos. Love the song. Love the way you perform it. The Visual with the music just brings and new energy to the album. I seem to grow into each song. Max Martin's written some of my favorite songs, so it's no wonder I love this one too. It's definitely a party song (YEAH!), but romantic me LOVES the lyrics "if I had you life would be a party, it'd be ecstasy". So, so sweet.
It's definitely one of my favorites! Looooove the opening beat and how the song covers so much territory musically, a great merge of dance pop and rock plus great lyrics, what more can we ask for? It's almost impossible to keep still when this song is on! I think it would be a great choice for a music video.

I love "If I Had You." It was one of my first favourites (although I thoroughly enjoy them all) for the dance factor. I totally blast this as I'm getting ready to go out and party and then when I'm in my car having my dance party as I roll up to the party. Haha. I also like to pretend that I would have you, Adam. Maybe I could get a kiss one day. I'm so so sad that I missed you in NYC AGAIN, I tried winning tickets every weekend, and throughout the week, but no such luck. One day. One day I will meet you, and shower you with my love! Thanks so much for this song. =)
This song really lifts my mood. I love it. It sounds like ecstacy would sound if could be converted to auditory form. The song is fun with a capital F. Someone would have to be made of steel and stone not to at least smile or tap his foot. I especially like the line, "I am working my strut" because it is so Adamesque.
I think I should have bought at least 4 of the "FYE" CDs. Because the 1 and only that I bought is getting wore out because I listen to it soooo much!!

This one is just infectiously 'fun' ... lyrics are so campy ... my favorite line is "Girls in stripper heels/boys rolling in Maseratis/What they need in this world is some love" ... and then the chorus/refrain "If I Had You (you, you, you, you which sounds like doo doo doo doo doo, etc.) Great song and no one sings it betterer.
How could I STILL not be tired of any song on this album after listening sooo much since November ...? But I still love it, love it, love it.
