Re: Adam Lambert on David Letterman

Adam,
It's hard to know what to say to you. My husband and I watched you through American Idol and watched each week to see you soar; we both knew we were seeing an iconic performer emerging. It was a split vote in our household over your AMA performance. My husband thought you went too far with your performance and just wants you to sing; he believes your voice speaks for itself (of course, it does). I find myself defending you. I can perfectly understand where your head was on that evening and it can't be easy watching all of the other performers and then closing the show. It's easy to get caught up in the mood. For me, it was like watching my son and thinking, "Oh, Adam, did you have to go so far?" Typical mom response. I've purchased all of your songs and videos on AI and now your CD. We know you have great common sense and are grounded, including your freaky side. Just stay true to yourself and remember, NO ONE has your voice. You really don't have to prove a thing. Good luck to you and your career. PS By the way, I'd love to see you include acting in your bag of tricks. I have a feeling you'd be a natural at that also.
