to think of the Awards and polls that Adam is in and he just released his Album the end of Nov. Critics know it's fantastic. I really haven't heard or seen anything negative from them about the content. It's all been super positive. In Nov-Jan of 2008 I was hearing Lady Gagas songs and catching interviews here and there and I really didn't think anything of her. She had a great voice I thought but -Just dance- seemed like a catchy pop song that would be here and gone. Then came poker face and it stayed forever. Slowly I really started liking her music almost without noticing it, but then I saw her and i didn't like her. She looked cheap and kinda crazy. It wasn't until after I saw here preform on the vmas that I actually took the time to go to itunes and check her out and I loved just about all of her songs and that's when I bought her album and the interviews she has been in have since changed my mind about her too. I understand how she won breakout artist of the year. This makes me think that Adam may win next year. I don't know if can be nominated two years in a row? It would be more fitting as he will have more performances, fans and exposure. It sometimes seems a little soon to be on these since it sometimes takes a year of promoting and ups and downs to get into every fan your going to get. It maybe the same kind of ride for people who aren't so sure about him yet as mine was with Gaga's. It's already been an amazing ride for fans who have been here from the start but there will be plenty more to go yet so be patient. I think he will have an exciting year ahead!

It really clarified something in my own thoughts too

Nice post, OP.

I think he should tour with someone younger who can open for him and draw that kind of crowd. He does have fans of all ages now but more younger could only help. I don't know about kesha I don't like her current song but i haven't heard her others. I forgot to add that in an interview Ryan secrest had said like in Sept or Oct that it was amazing that Gaga had toured as an opener for new kids on the block that same time last year- how crazy is that!

yeah I agree, it does take time we are all so invested in him and so very sure of him and it seems like we have known of him forever but there are still people who are only vaguely aware of him so it takes a while indeed, really the album has only been out not even two months. There was a lot of hype and expectations but it all takes time. I did not care for poker face and didn't think much of gaga either, but I changed my mind with her SNL appearance and newer songs, the snl appearance showed me that she had real talent, she still had the crazy outfits but sang and played the piano really well and was funny too. so now I like her more, so it does take time and in a few years we will be looking back at his start and marveling how far he has went.

a duet with someone totally unexpected would also be great. hopefully there's no touring w/ Kesha - her album got a terrible review in the Washington Post today, bu tit is priced to sell to the younger crowd....

Lovin' this ... It speaks volumes about the proccess!
Smiling It WILL come........

Oh and I hope they will do a duet. They would be so perfect together!
