Adam Wins Gay People's Choice Award for Favorite Male Musician

It's not a big surprise that Adam Lambert would take the prize for Favorite Male Music Artist around here. And given Jason Mraz's talent and recent blogging about gay marriage, his popularity makes sense. But among the write-in votes Kris Allen received huge support. Clearly, not everyone around here was on "Team Adam" for American Idol's last season finale.
Okay, there's no red carpet, and it's not televised, but Adam wins!

Or ...... another way of looking at it .................. Kris was very popular on the write-in votes. You know, the ones that unlike internet voting can't be traced as having been generated from the same desk.
Sorry, it's just that occasionally (and today has been another one of those days) I find out something else that makes me increasingly cynical every time I hear Kris doing well in this, Kris doing well in that.
He's nowhere to be seen on the internet voting, except perhaps among the 12% covering "Other names", but he had huge write-in votes. Hmmmmm ............ funny that!
Anyway, more good news for Adam. That's all that matters.

Kris has a large following among the gay community. Think about he is a cutie and he was Adam’s room mate and totally excepting of Adam’s life style. Kris was even willing to paint his thumb nail black to match Adam’s unpainted one. My BFF and his partner were big Kris fans and we had a big battle on who was the best I accused them of only liking Kris because they though he was hot. I still think I am right Adam rules!!

@KrazeAdamtrific: The award wasn't just for gay male musicians. It was for male musicians that a mostly gay audience liked the best. All of the artist listed except Adam were straight.
