New York tour?
Just wondering what size room Adam will be in when he tours here. I'm thinking Nassau Coliseum on Long Island 1 night or 2 or 3 nights at Radio City like Gaga did? Have not seen him live yet, didn't win any tickets to last 2 "last minute" concerts in NYC. Didn't see Idols' live last summer as I couldn't sit through Anoop or some of those others have been following everything online, can't wait!

Oldtheaterhag- Don't worry about what your ticket says...once you get inside, you can stand wherever you want. Also, there are a few rows of seats in the back, which are slightly raised, so you can see above the standing fans. The entire place is not very large, so you will be able to see from the back pretty well.
As for waiting in line for hours to try for a great spot on the floor, I can only tell you that last year, we went to see David Cook, who also put on a sold out show. Fans did wait outside for hours. We got there about 2 1/2 hours early, and the line was already around the block. We decided to go for an early dinner, and then came back an hour before the show. We were meeting another friend there, who didn't wind up coming until about 15 minutes before the show. We still managed to get a good place inside to stand, although the place was packed.
My conclusion is that if you are getting there early for have a good time on line with other fans, go ahead. Otherwise, you can come closer to the show and still find a good spot. Regardless of when you get in, the place will be very full, so just enjoy the show!!!

Went to a ticketmaster, was 1st in line, walked in at 10 got seats at Nokia on June 22nd on FLOOR! My question is even thou it is general admission there are different GA levels, there is floor, promenade & mezzanine. last time I was in this theater (about 3 years ago) there were seats in mezzanine. I got the floor because I could & would love to be in the sea of obsessed Glambert fans, now I may need to switch for seats in back because I'm taking my claustrobhobic mother who is 4'11 and she is already freaking out about not getting air in a crowd, than I'm about 50 lbs. overweight and having severe ankle/foot issues (I'm also taking my aunt who is around 67) this ought to be an ass-kicking event. Can't wait to camp out on line outside the building, (which now that I have floor, I'm going all the way), my fear is pissing my pants waiting. If I don't take my tag team with me, are fans nice to hold your spot in line or am I on a diff. planet thinking this? I am not a GA concert goer, not sure what to expect.
I, too, shrieked and clapped when i was lucky enough to get 2 tickets this morning! The second Nokia show was a lifesaver! It was a great surprise to see that.
I am SO happy not to give the money to scalpers!
Now I can't wait for June 23rd!!!
After all my frustration with the fan club presale, I am thrilled that I was able to get tickets for me and my best friend this morning for the second show at the Nokia with no problem. I promptly shrieked like a little girl. Anyone going to the June 23rd show: if you see me, come say hi! Would love to meet fellow Adam fans. You can't miss me: my avatar is actually my picture!
Guys, is anybody having issues with ticketmaster? I had tickets...and I had to create an account but then I got a screen with an error message and the tix were releaced. Now, I'm trying to call ticketmaster (I don't even know if they'll do anything but I'm pissed and want a reason to argue with someone) but I keep getting a busy signal. Anyone in the same boat.
Another Nokia show has been added for June 23rd. I had the same experience as everyone else with the "fan club" presale password, but was able to purchase a ticket this AM shortly after 10AM using the American Express presale opportunity. I did have to try 10-15 times before I got a positive response. Don't despair yet, tickets go on sale tomorrow (SAT) AM to the public, and with a second show, availability should be good. Good luck to everyone seeking tickets. I will be going alone, so I'm looking forward to meeting some of you!
I tried for both the Nokia and the Borgota at 10:00am sharp yesterday but had no luck. Gave AmEx presale a try today and sadly had no luck there either. It great that these tickets are going so fast. It can only mean more concerts in bigger venues. However what Im not happy about is that there seems to be plenty of pricy tickets available at ":scalper" websites. (Although Im still thankful to Stub Hub for my free Rocky My Town tickets!) I even saw someone selling 16 tickets - when the per person limit was 6, Wonder how they did that? Its just too bad that people who are not fans are buying tickets to make a profit. Not fair to the fans.

will be trying again on Saturday for 2 tickets. Got 2 at the Borgata on Wed presale (NOT thru Ticketmaster!) after 25 minutes of nothing.
But I am concerned about the Nokia. i know it is all General Admission/Standing Only. I have never done this before. I am 66 and overweight by 50 pounds. Am I going to regret standing in line for hours to get in to get a good spot then standing thru Orianthi's set and then Adam's which will be at least 1 1/2 hrs? I hate pushing and shoving crowds. Has anyone my age and condition done this and found that it's too much standing andpushing, etc.
Would love some feedback.

I think that the tix go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
I also tried to get tickets. I just got an e-mail after 10am. I wish they would have e-mailed last night. They must not have opened too many tickets to the fans. Anyone know what time they go on Sale Saturday. 9am or 10am

This is just ridiculous!!!! I would've had better luck getting these tickets if I had some WiFi on my iPod touch. How is this possible that no tickets are available for us Glamberts?! >:-(

You had to keep trying. I managed to get two individual tickets. One at 10:10 and one at 10:19. I need 2 more but gave up around 10:30.

How do we know there were even ANY tickets put up for presale?
I was on the Ticketmaster site hitting refresh starting at 9:55. As soon as tickets went on sale, I tried to get them, and they said there were NONE available. I don't mean to delve into hyperbole, but I am devistated. I didn't have this much trouble getting tickets to Gaga at the Garden in July!!!! This is ridiculous. I don't blame Adam, but someone has to answer for how the fans get shut out of a FAN CLUB PRESALE!
Got 2 tix for borgota at 10:02am couldn't get anything for Nokia, I think they have less tix for sale will try again Saturday at 9am. Good Luck all
ok. tried to get tickets at exactly 10:00. unsuccessful. What a scam. how is it possible that it be sold out in 1 minute????? I hate scalpers. And that was a presale for fanclub members? Where is the benefit? Who is monitoring this?
how do things work @ the nokia theater? is it a pain in the butt to go there? i live like 20 minutes away from there, so thats not a problem... & does anyone have a presale code they can post up!? much appreciated;) but nassau collisuem would be much easier... oh well lol, just having him touring is awesome!

I was in Times Square on 4/23 for another event and stopped by the Nokia to get info. It appears this will be a general admission event, mostly SRO, with limited, unreserved seating available. Tickets go on sale next Saturday, May 1, 2010, and you will be able to purchase them online, I assume through AEG Live since they are affiliated with the Nokia. Hope that helps!
I have a question. I've never been to Nokia, so I'm not sure what the theater looks like. Is it standing room? Are there seats? Any help would be awesome

i really wish he wasnt so pretty because it would make being grumpy at him a lot easier. i dont want to go to either ny shows because i cant get to the city, and the other is a montage of other people. im going to have to go to foxwoods if i want to see him. im going to go brake and my parents think im crazy.

I honestly hope he tours in NY, Casino routes or whatever, but if he went to NYC my chance of seeing him would be zip. =/
All I can say is that I feel sorry that you did not get to experience Adam "live". He is a remarlable entertainer and I get "chills" remembering how it felt to be in his audience. Hope you can make his next concert. Maybe he will continue on the casino curcuit.
