Can American Idol ever be the same with Adam Lambert. No.
American Idol's top 12 have been chosen, however how can anyone live up to what Adam Lambert brought each week without fail. I miss the drama. I miss wondering what will it be tonight. Instead. It's yup, whatever. NEXT!
Some of the performances leave a person wondering, "Really? This is what you're bringing. I'm taking time out of my day and this is the best of y'all have to offer? Seriously, American Idol will never be the same without Adam. I miss the promise of surprise.

It will NEVER be the same without Adam. It's so boring without him. After he performed every week on Idol, i COULDN'T WAIT until the next week to see what he was going to do next. And he never failed to be fantastic week after week! He's the best!!
I agree - it just won't be the same *sigh* NEVER EVER will there be another Adam... and btw when that teenager Katie girl sang "feeling good" I almost threw my tv out the window cos I remembered sooo vividly how gorgeously Adam sang that same song during the "rat pack" week...coming down those stairs in that stunning white suit and singing with that powerful, wonderful voice *deeper sigh*

I have to agree with you. I'm not bagging on this season's contestants, they just seem to pale in comparison...you actually can't compare. It's not just the vocals, it's the boring song choices, the predictable arrangements and nobody seens to have "personality" or the amazing stage presence that Adam has. I went back and watched some of his performances from season 8 and yes,this season is a snoozfest! Adam is without a doubt the best artist to ever come out of Idol. I don't believe that anyone else has achieved the level of success that he has in such a short time. It hasn't even been a year and look where he is. I think that he will be all over the award shows this year. He definately deserves "Best New Artist'" at the 2011 Grammys. (If Justin Bieber wins I will be pissed off!) When Adam didn't win Idol, I was like.OMFG!..are you kidding..it was a surreal moment (bad surreal) I was reminded of this when Kanye did that Taylor Swift thing. I was like, did that really just happen?..so surreal. My friend and I have our weekly Idol review every Thursday and the converstion always goes back to Adam and season 8. We talk about him more than we do this year's contestants.people are still talking about how Adam should have won. I was at the grocery store in line to check out a few days ago, and a little old lady noticed my "Team Lambert..Real Men Wear Eyeliner" t-shirt and she said "That boy should have won etc..." and a few other people in line started talking about it too!! The season finale last year was the best. I couldn't believe the line-up. Kiss, Rod Stewart, Carlos Santana and Queen - I was totally blown away (in a good way) and was blown away (in a bad way) when Ryan Seacrest announced Kris Allen as the winner. We all know that Adam was the real winner and he has proved that...not that he had to.
No, I'm not glued to the TV this year when Idol is on. Simon leaving...that 's gonna hurt the show also.I don't think there will be another Adam.
OMG ! No, Adam was amazing ! And what about that Alex Lambert dude ? What was he thinking coming on idol the year after the BEST lambert ever ! I was happy he got kicked off.
