[message for SONY/RCA: wouldn't it be beneficial if a more accurate count of the # of singles and albums adam's sold were presented /over and over/ in all these news and promo blurbs? this one is typical of SO many others; it quotes his wiki nearly verbatim, with just a little cut and paste job. there are no other documented sales figures that are verifiable and available to us/to the world. these numbers, from adam's wiki, date from 1/2011 for singles; and 4/2012, for FYE (and fye only) for albums -- and these cumbersome and meaningless dates are of course omitted from the promo article's quote on sales, making matters worse. --promise: if you post them, we will come.]

Adam and his gang are probably heading to SA soon. From what I gathered on twitter last night Terrence Spencer is back on as a dancer and supposedly there is a new set list with a new vibe!
After reading the transcript of the Heat magazine interview I can only hope for some good HD videos!

I'll bet that with the size of the venue and the outpouring of support in SA, this show will have a bigger scope than previous shows. Hope so! I pray that Adam puts together a show that will attract attention here in the states beyond us Glamberts. He can do ANYTHING! And yes, he did mention the possibility of a new setlist. More great songs from Trespassing! Bring it on.
I think I read on twitter than Terrence was going to SA so sounds like there may be some choreography with dancers. Maybe starting to pull things together for a Trespassing tour. Also, didnt Adam say some revamping of the set list as well.

@carl.nyc - it is a bit off the topic - you need to hear Khaya sing ...... he is brilliant and the talent here in SA is just not fantastic - the winner Elvis Blue should not have won it should have been Lloyd - just my opinion. Khaya is brilliant - try look for his latest song "MOVE" on youtube and you will see what I mean

but nothing about the usual association i would have had to an article like this/wh is of course that an openly gay contestant has not yet won AI in the US. the preponderance of white males is a somewhat appropriate comparison (again, in discussion) -- though this SA story is alot more compelling.
is idol this parochial all over the world -- perhaps bec it is decided soley by vote -- or shares a formula? i was shocked to read that most of what they sing is the same old same old american music. pretty incredible how something like that happens. my guess is it's a very popular show there too --

Yay! This has been a long time coming! SA Glamberts must be so excited! Can't wait to see the videos after the show.
Adam's international appeal makes me very happy indeed, and Simon sensed that right away back then on Idol. I hope Adam will be increasingly capable to handle the jet lag that comes with all the traveling for these international appearances. He sounds a bit stuffy and subdued in that recent interview, but they probably caught him really late at night.
