Adam"s performance of "Feeling Good" was to me the highlight of this season. It showed his "realization" and "acceptance" of his achievement of a lifetime goal. There was so much overflowing "joy" in his newly found place in the 21st century music world, and so much "thanks" oozing from him in this performance towards everyone in his life that helped make this possible.
So many conversations since Idol this season revolve around "What was Adam's best performance?" Hard to choose from the very best to the very best. They were all spectacular! However, "Feeling Good" not only entertained, it made me feel so good it brought chills and tears to be watching a dream come true. WHAT A GREAT WAY FOR ADAM TO TO SHARE THIS!
Even though I wanted Adam to win for the sake of his winning the title, I knew this did not really matter.
I've listened over and over to Adam's "Is Anybody Listening," "Brigadoon," other past videos out there, and AI performances. Doesn't matter what style of music is my personal preference, everything he sings is over the top. Thanks goes out to all who made it possible for us to enjoy such a gifted young man!
