Do You Like To Share Your AI Tour Excitement With Us? I Share Mine At Staples Center And I Met Adam After The Show
Season 8 AI tour is here , please share with us how do you prepare before the show, how do you enjoy the show? This is my first AI tour, only Adam get me to go to this AI tour, how about you guys? Adam will rock the whole country after the whole AI tour, he will show us what a superstar he will become during this tour.
I went to the LA-Staples Center on July 16, I arrived at 4:00 pm to see if I will get a chance to meet Adam before the show, unforturnately only Michael, Kris, Matt & Danny came out before the show, they were very nice and took their time to sign autograph. I even ask Kris to take picture with me but it didn't come out good. Michael was very nice too. It was almost 6:00 pm and I knew that Adam not able to come out before the show. At that moment I hope Adam will come out after the show, just before the show start I looked around, most people around us are families, during the whole show, most Idols performances l was able to enjoy, I like Anoop a lot I think he has potential to become popular because he knows how to work with the audience, Danny's performance a little bit surprised me, he sang his heart out specially the last song, but when Adam's turn, I was so excited and I tried to take pictures and videos as much as I can, I missed most of the performance of Adam, In between I took the pictures and videos of Adam's performance I enjoyed Adam's vocals very much, he sang all 5 songs are very powerful and emotional, he hardly ever looked at the audiences, I was just 4 rows from the stage at the left side but when he sang he was totally into the songs. I lost my concentration because I tried to do so much in just 20 minutes. I felt so bad afterwards, I think one of the reason why it seems went so quick because I have watched so many videos of the concerts. I should know there are so many people will put their videos up and good pictures for this show and I shouldn't need to take mine, actually mine is not even good. I also enjoyed Kris performance, my husband said he plays piano better than guitar. After the show I decided to wait outside at the barricade to wait for Adam, I was just behind one of the lady and she left after two hours waiting, so I got to the front of the barricade. Before Adam only Michael and Allison came out. About midnight, finally Adam showed up and signed autograph for me. He had eye contact with me when I told him that I'm from Hong Kong, Adam signed for eveyone there, is was so cool that he was able to do that, I felt so much better after that, I hope you guys don't make the same mistakes like me during the show, enjoy his performance as much as you can. In the mean time when I replayed the videos I felt satisfy because Adam is in my hand.

I'm sure each of us have their special experience and who would like to share their excitement with us.
But when I watched the videos at Staples Center, I can relate and experience the concert once again.
But I'm still excited for the people going to Thursday night. Have fun and good luck.
If you wait after the concert patiently , no pushing, no screaming, Adam will sign autograph for you.

We like to hear from you before or after the show, it should something you can tell us.
Go to the concert even if you get in the nose bleed seats. The experience alone is worth it. The energy and the excitement. If possible try and get to the finale show in Manchester NH everyone says the last show is incredible because it's their last time performing together. They are well practiced and it's the closing show. There is a party type of atmoshphere at this point. I have never been to an AI show. This is a first for me and I'm only there to see Adam. I'm leaving after Adam sings so that I can get a good spot for the autographs. I don't care about the last 20 minutes or so of the show. I'd much prefer an autograph.
Tell us more about the meet and greet after the show, it was interesting when I saw the videos.
My daughter (16) and I were in the LA tour and we had soooo much fun!
I took a day off on July 16, so no rush. The first thing in the morning, I placed the tickets into my purse. I emptied the memory card and recharged the battery for the camera. We left home at 4:20pm and arrived at Staples Center at 5:35pm. It was pretty good considering rush hour traffic. I saw two gentleman dressed like Adam (vest with tight jeans) waiting outside Staples Center. Could they been friends of Adam? I dared not to ask nor take picture of them.
I bought two pictures of Adam. While I was at the souvenir store for a few minutes, I noticed that most people asked for Adam stuff, like picture or T-shirt. Some asked for both
Adam and Kris.
The top 10 did pretty good and I enjoyed all of them. Of course all my screaming went to Adam. During Adam set, most of the time I was dancing and screaming. He rocked out with WLL, he had his hair down and he said 'woman', love it! He sang StarLight and Mad World so beautifully with his crystal clear vocals. I love the Bowie Medley. I found it funny when he said 'You better get up out of your seats, b****es!'. Adam is fun! I love his dance and moves too. I was so happy to see a huge, huge crowd (it looked every one to me when I looked around and checked) standing, cheering, and screaming for the entire Adam set.
LA loves Adam!
It was a fun night out for my daughter and I. We had a blast in the tour!

i forgot to ask...will you post your vids and pics? mine were not that great either, but even blurry or smallish Adam is still GORGEOUS!!! either way, we all enjoy hearing and talking about him!!!

it was difficult to really make eye contact. he did quickly look in my direction one time, but it was very brief. no matter, just being in the same breathing space as that magnificent man and having him personally touch and sign my gorgeous pic of him is the most beautiful treasure.
i am so sorry for fanz who cannot attend this AI tour, but rest assured, his solo tour is coming and that is the one that will shake the world to its very core!!! in the meantime, enjoy the vids and pictures that so many have very kindly posted. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONE THIS AND TO HOTFORADAM FOR ALL THE EXTREME HARD WORK!!! A JOB VERY WELL DONE! sorry for screaming, but BIG thanks are required!!
king, it is true, you can miss things when you are busy videotaping and taking pics. i had a camera in one hand and my camera cell phone in the other and what i did was not take any pics during WWL as i knew that one would be bright lights and i would not capture anything. i took only a few pics inside the concert, because my seats were very far from the stage and not much to see. a few turned out good but they are tiny in detail!! and i tried very hard to get some good pics at the crazy autograph signing frenzy, but it is very difficult. i'm glad i managed to get a few of him looking down and a few nice blurry ones, haha...i think the small ones could be zoomed on photoshop and the heads cropped out and they would be very nice.
i just danced my butt off while Adam performed and tried to take in every moment. but it did go by in a flash and i wanted to watch it over and over!! i am grateful again for the videos so that i could see up close and in detail what i missed.
thanks again and see you in the kitchen! sorry it took me so long to see this, but i was thinking about you at the concert and was sure i could hear some of those screams that were yours, haha!

I don't like to shoot video or take pics at concerts. I like to enjoy every moment. I envy you much, because I live in Puerto Rico and there won't be a concert here. Probably, when Adam has his own concerts he won't come here either. (gotta start writing letter now! LOL)

Start to think like the crazed fan that you are !! Scope out the area ahead of time.....if unfamiliar. Make friends with the security people...some have information on what time they will come out etc and who is not coming out. Get there early by 11 am, no matter how hot it is. My venue was open and air conditioned starting at 10 am. for bathroom, water and cool-down time. Make friends with the people next to you in line at the barricades....they will save your spot for you to take breaks.
Wouldn't hurt to have a backpack with water, snacks etc. Idols come out anytime after 1:00 pm.....not all come out.....some have press dates. I missed David Cook last year because of this.
AI sets up an area to buy souvenirs and the program they sell with all the idols in it is beautifully done.
Have your camera, video camera, everything set and ready as they approach you, you will only get one chance for the picture. Just to make sure you get the picture ask 2 or 3 people around you to also take a picture of you and then exchange addresses, email etc with them to send you the pictures. You may never have this opportunity again !!!!!!!!!!!
You have to be somewhat aggressive and polite at the same time.....lots of people fighting for the idols time to get pictures etc. If you don't get what you want in the afternoon meet and greet, leave the show early....during the last group number to get a good spot outside at the barricades. They do come out after the show but it is only, at most, an hour.

Even though 11 days to the concert in LA, I already excited about it, I will take 2 days off, the concert day and the day after so I have plenty of time to prepare for the show and hope will meet Adam after the show.
I will go to Staples Center in LA, do you know where to meet Adam at? Before and after the show.
