A priceless write-up by someone who went to the Tacoma show

This was in response to a critique's review. The last line is the best!

"I was forced to go to last night's show under much begging from my sister. She was sent out of town for a meeting and had plans with her daugher to see this show. I was begged to step in and take my niece. Being the good aunt I said yes. Just as I imagined it was sheer torture. There was singer after singer either off pitch, or just plan old mediocre. Just when I couldn't take any more and was willing to risk being called the bad aunt - one Adam Lambert stepped on the stage. My, oh my. Wow, is all I can say. I have never seen that much sexual energy on the stage. I almost felt like covering my nieces eyes but I was like a deer caught in the head lights and couldn't move. My mind turned to mush. I am still entranced. After I got home I immediately turned on the computer and googled everything that is Adam Lambert. Despite the fact I had to be up early today I stayed up most of the night. The combination of raw sex appeal and this incredible vocal gift makes for one exciting performer.

I'm glad they didn't end the show with him I would probably be still sitting at the Dome thunderstruck. That last performer they had on - don't know his name - was like a tranquilizer and I was able to pull myself together. It was such an odd show because Adam Lambert was so out of place. It would be like having a golf tournament with Tiger Woods except all his competitors are kindergartners."

Adam will gain new fans from this tour. I love her though because she went home and looked him up which is kind of funny. I wonder what she thought when she saw TOMT after seeing him in the tour.

That was hilarious and oh-so-true
Adam hits you like a hammer with that voice and charisma!

Love it. She gets us totally. I love the line about "what's his name" being a tranquilizer. I agree with the poster who said she wants to wait and see Sir Adam all by himself. I can't agree more. I would like to see Allison as his opening act or in a duet though.

you just got addicted. Get used to your new live. Don't hope it will let you go soon.

..would still be sitting at the Dome thunderstruck. Eye-wink

" That's how we all felt watching AI this year. American Idol, ho-hum. "Hey, Adam's On!" Rush to the television, scream and shout, (OMG, those PANTS!!!) gush, rush to youtube to see who's first to put up the video. Everyone else? Who are they again? "

your post described me the entire idol season its like you know me! lol!

Was chatting to 2 guys from work today (both 30ish Brits) and they told me they have never seen such a great performer in history. Although they aren't as nuts and addicted as me I could tell they are big fans... then the topic of AT&T power voting started and we couldn't stop taking about it all over again!

Six weeks ago I was professional working woman working late nights...now that work laptop is closed by 6pm...crazy fan girl appears...new laptop & Ipod Touch is totally Adam!

Too funny! That's how we all felt watching AI this year. American Idol, ho-hum. "Hey, Adam's On!" Rush to the television, scream and shout, (OMG, those PANTS!!!) gush, rush to youtube to see who's first to put up the video. Everyone else? Who are they again?

bumpety

just as I was when i first saw Adam!

I just read that!! LOVED it!

hoopla

This is a hilarious review!! I would've sat thunderstruck myself. I felt that way after watching him on AI...and we know that was toned down version of the real entertainer that we know of as Adam Lambert. He surely knows how to put on a show and leave you speechless in the process. You can tell you have a great entertainer in your midst when you rendered speechless!! Adam rocks!!

its not long until the entire world is all converted into Glamberts!

thats a great read! Smiling

You just need to see him once and you are hooked, there have been so many comments like that,

the Tiger Woods playing golf with Kindergardeners is hysterical!!!!!

I hope she finds this site on her searches and joins, she is our kinda gal!!!!!!!

Where did you see this one at?

What a way to be introduced to Adam. It reminds me of when I (as a white woman) went to a service at an African American Church. When the preacher and the choir got going I could only think "God, don't hit me with the spirit now." I has holding on to my pew transfixed.

What could possibly be the name of an Adam revival? Adrevivalam?

we are all entranced and thunderstruck

Kudos to you for finding this. I am sure that there will be a LOT of new converts. How can one not be completely bewitched by him?? I feel like I am under some magic spell...Love Potion #9 I guess!

Thank you for sharing that. Hilarious! Laughing out loud

Of course, we all knew this would happen to others, too. Eye-wink

I haven't been able to get my sister on board the Adam starship, but she has agreed to go with me to the concert. She and I don't live in the same state, so she doesn't know just how far gone I already am. I am purposefully withholding vid clips of the concerts, so she will be seeing all of it for the first time when Adam takes the stage. I can see it now, the OMFG look on her face. I'm not an "I told you so" type of person, but I foresee a lot of innocent shrugging on my part when her knees start wobbling.

No disrespect, but Adam is clearly in a whole other league. It's almost two separate shows under one roof. Gotta love it - Adam is simply the best there is.

Kris was a tranquilizer after watching Adam. LOL The two of them will get a huge laugh with this one. I still haven't come down after watching, and even listening to Adam. He is a huge sexual force. Good Lord in Heaven he knocks you down. THUD !!

Cue up Simon's comments to Adam: "That was in a whole different league from everything else we've seen tonight" and "The bad thing is no one is going to be able to top that now".

This is exactly what AI was like for me. And the line referring to Kris..

"That last performer they had on..don't know his name..." No offense to Kris, but I literally called him "that guy" until two weeks before the end of AI! I couldn't remember his name to save my life! Must've been Adamnesia!!!

Tiger Woods vs. kindergartners: priceless!!!

Love to hear these stories of converts!!! Someone I had introduced to Adam only last week (he watched the ROF performance) and whose response was "Jesus Christy! That was astonishing" is now this week saying that Adam will rule the world!
