Esp. since my first part ( the narrative of my experience) was a bit long-winded, I appreciate that you scrolled down to see the photos-- although in real time, I had uploaded the photos first!

I am so glad others are having such great opportunities to meet and speak with Adam. And even receiving a hug ! Fabulous!

Nice to hear all these lovely stories - especially when I'm so far away, so thanks!

here's my experience from the oakland concert
I got all 10 of the idols autographs! Adam is even hotter in person. Adam's performance was off the hook!! The entire stadium stood during his set! Seriously, best show ever! So, Adam came out last to sign autographs. I could see him coming down the line which was cool because it gave me time to focus on him and get ready for my big moment lol. By the time he got to me I was completely starstruck and it felt like he was a million miles away. It was kind of funny though when I met Adam there was a bit of a slope where I was standing so he was about my height (I'm 5' 4"!). Kris was shorter than me because of the slope lol Anyways, when Adam grabbed my program to sign it I swear my face looked something like this Smiling Jawdropping! Smiling and it was so surreal that he was right there standing infront of me. I managed to say "thank you Adam" but at the same time the person next to me said thank you so he kind of looked up in my direction and said "thanks guys" .
Even though I only got to meet Adam for a couple of seconds it felt like forever and it was totally worth the hour and a half wait! Then I watched him walk down the line and leave. When he was walking away some of the fans were waving so I waved too and he looked back and waved to us! I saw Wicked in LA last summer while Adam was in the ensemble and it's just mind boggling to think a year ago I saw Adam in person and I WASN'T practically drooling or starstruck over him. It's crazy how much happens in a year. So yeah it was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful I was able to go to the concert! Thank you Adam!!

with front row seats in Charlotte! I hope I get as lucky as some other great fans and get the opportunity to meet him.

Great story, thank you for sharing. I especially like the pictures. My concert is
on September 2nd. I think about meeting Adam every day. I hope it works out.
Can't wait for the concert. Congrats. on having such a wonderful experience! t.

Metaphysically I know I was present for Adam's set, but no, I was truly lost to a happy happy world of dance, exhilaration and out of body excitement. That was the best 20 minutes ever! I hardly even remember seeing him or ever hearing him, there was something more powerful going on. He has an intense presence that is a direct extension of the music that completely wrapped over me. It was overpowering. Everyone was drawn to their feet like a magnetic pull. I'm a dancer so my body was being pulled with every note of music and every swivel of his hips. It was simply incredible. Even after every cell cast and video and fan review- there was nothing to even begin to prepare me for seeing Adam live. And I had s***-tastic seats in the freakin' corner behind the stage. Doesn't matter where you sit, Adam will reach you.
.
I met so many awesome Adam fans. It's crazy how many Adam fans are bewildered with their obsession and it is relieving and exciting to meet with them. The first people I met were a 73 year old daughter with her 93 year old mother who couldn't even say Adam's name without clutching their heart. The daughter said she was a huge Elvis fan back in the day, but she's never seen anyone like Adam. They were amazing, I wish you could adopt grandmas. Another woman, a beautiful stately woman right out of the OC had gone to every single one of his shows so far and was heading for Arizona. Love her. A older man and his wife wore matching home made Adam jackets and hats, held hands and smiled at each other like Adam brought youthful rejuvenation to their lives. So sweet to see. Then there was Joan Rivers' twin, age and all, decked out in the most elaborate and extensive leather Adam get up possible. Covered in black leather and a rhinestone bra, 6 inch platform boots, chains and no less than 5 pairs of handcuffs. I made her stand next to me at the meet and greet. She was a trip. She was in her 70's and she had never even been a fan of a celebrity before. She couldn't even comprehend her obsession for Adam. Meeting these people made the whole experience all the more profound. We had a real connection and I loved them all.
.
Not to quell the good times- but I must mention that there were so many just plain negative, life-sucking groups of people by the buses. b****y and pushy and rude as all hell. I was buzzin' in the positive vibes so I ignored them, but on any other day there would've been a fight. That's all I'm gonna say.
.
Adam didn't have time to get down the line to me at the meet and greet. We had all the other contestants in front of us so he started at the other end of the line, which I understand. Just a bummer, but oh well. I met all the other contestants except Allison. Everyone was so nice. Lil is a beautiful woman. I asked her if she worked out to get her cut arms and she laughed and said no. Matt is really really handsome in person. No picture or video has ever done him justice, he is a really hot guy. Michael was super sweet, very clean cut. I asked him about his foot and he looked at me, shook his head and said he was in a lot of pain. Poor guy. Anoop walked right up to me when he came out and I asked him about the Buddy Holly glasses. I thought I was diplomatic, but I'm terrible at hiding my opinions so I think he took it as a criticism and just smiled and shrugged and said he was just feeling them that night. Kris is a small guy, I get the hot pocket nickname name, but he's really just an average guy to me. He was wearing his "I'd trade my girlfriend for a Coke" tshirt. I warned him about getting his picture taken in that shirt and asked him if he knew how they edited the word Coke online. He laughed and said he knew about it. So cute, they look at macros!

and that's exactly why i felt this deserves a thread of its own (threads like these were floating all over the site and should really be highlighted in one one-stop place for all)

u know, i always have this huge grin on my face whenever someone posts an article like this--- the fans are truly, madly, deeply in love and i share the same feeling, even if i'm not there.. the fan vids and personal experiences with adam are living proof of how genuine and real adam is as a person---how he tries to sign every autograph he can, answer every fan's question, look at them in the eye, stop to talk to them like a friend and notice things they wear, all those profuse thanks for the gifts and smiles - adam's unbelievable!

i always thought these deserve a separate thread. hope u undersrtand where i'm coming from.

u go gal!

We want to hear yours, too!

OMG !!!!!!!!!! Just got back this morning from the San Diego concert. But let me start with the Ontario concert.
Ontario: Fantastic venue !!!!! Brand new.... I think it's only 2 years old or so...... I took my soon to be 20yr old niece with me. We go there early and as we were waiting outside in 102 degee heat we got to hear some of the sound check. Heard Adam singing a small part of WLL. That place went NUTS for Adam.....it was just crazy love for him...... I was screaming, my niece was screaming...hell everyone was screaming !!!!!!!! The anticipation of waiting for him just made it better. I had a lady sitting next to me who is a Kris fan and she really wasn't too sure about Adam. I told her that's ok...we all had our favorites. But after Adam she turned to me and said "WOW!!!!"...... I think that says it all.....WOW !!!!!

San Diego: I'm not from San Diego but my friend who is told me that this venue does not have great sound and she was right. This time I took my sister with me. Believe it or not I was suprised that Ontario had a better Adam crowd then his home town did........ had a lot of Danny and Kris fan's...which is ok.....share the love...... Adam as the night before just blew us away with his talent. Someone up front threw a blue featherd boa at him and he picked it up and had fun with it. Our luck is that our enterance was right by the bus line. We got out of there in a hurry and had a great place in line. But we got pushed and shoved around and before I knew it we had 3 boy's and 3 girls(ages 10-12) in front of us and we looked at each other and said "oh forget it" and left. It just got a bit too much after a while. We knew we would have to wait a while for anyody to come out let alone Adam.

After the last 2 day's of being on a Adam high it was hard to get back home and back to laundry, work and paying the bills..... UGH !!!!!!!

I will never forget the last 2 days....... It's been a blast !!!!!!!! Can't wait for the solo tour !!!!

(I posted this on another thread earlier, but since this is the OFFICIAL thread, here it is again... )

If there were awards for most awesome contribution to the SLC threads, its would definitely be y'all! PC Mom gets first place for best poster/fan/parasol! Most fantastic meeting with Adam in non-performing environment goes to those two precious cuties, Glambert 1364 and her sister! No one can touch that! Definitely the gold standard! They also get first place for all the photos and videos ! Fabulous! HotForAdam deserves the kudos for the best overall concert recap! The award for the Best Dancers at SLC concert goes to all the Glamberts and their associated groups in the FEE section! (Yes, I am biased!) I was so glad to get to meet y'all as well as KenaiAK, and many other of the Glamberts at the "bus stop" behind the E Center yesterday.

Glambert 1364---Sorry about the pink boa being about 6 feet too short to make it to the stage, but it was probably for the best, although it was fun teasing about flinging one end of it up there and the three of us tugging it back--hopefully with Adam on the other end But I just didn't want our good people on this board to think that tossing underwear onstage was ever on the table by anyone I know for so many reasons, mainly being that it is the last thing Adam would care about seeing....

I noticed some folks on the thread were wondering what actually had been tossed during the Bowie Medley---and it was just a small gift wrapped in Adam's tour colors and glitter that was tossed on the stage. ( And just so everyone knows, because security was rather tight, I had gotten permission in advance from the nice people at the E Center to toss a little "yea you !" present wrapped in their tour colors and glitter up to the edge of the stage for each of the performers and had made a label on them that said "You Rock. Thanks, Becky"). In fact, some of them were given out while our group was waiting at the "bus stop" behind the E Center. I was so touched by Michael Sarver, when he came through the line and I presented it to him--some of you were near me when he said. "Wow-this almost never happens."...

Adam is numero uno and in a league of his own, but as someone who occasionally performs on the local level, my heart goes out to all the other young performers, because they are working very hard, and will be for about 40 more shows as they travel all over the country, and it's not easy to have things written in the newspaper that will never compare as favorably to our deserving star! The idea was to show a little love to them all... (Originally I had asked to have these items delivered to their dressing rooms, but was told they couldn't do that. Go figure.)

But I digress---- so anyway-- and this still doesn't compare to Glambert 1364's achievement-----I am happy to report to all - there is a happy ending about that the little gift bag that was left behind --as some of the others had been, when the performer doesn't end their set in the spot where the gift was tossed. I was told that security would then retrieve them and deliver them to the cast. However----due to a lucky twist of fate, I finally found out at intermission-in which I was transferred to another three areas at that point during that fast-moving 20 minutes---at the SLC concert that I did indeed win backstage passes for two from a local contest (those I saw earlier in the day know that based on the amount of my being transferred from place to place in the E Center about this made me wonder if it were actually going to happen).

But it did! Which meant that I did get to meet Adam and all the others and the chance to directly present my little present to him! ( so I asked the photographer inside the barrier to retrieve it before securty picked it up), and Adam was so gracious about this silly little gift. He even took a photo with me, and one with my friend who went backstage with me. And then--- he kindly signed my scanned copy of the RS cover you saw me carrying around earlier in the day ! When he handed it to me I almost fainted---I thought he was just going to sign his name, but to my great surprise he had written "You Rock." and my real name, which I guess he noticed on the present. Seriously--- I almost fainted. I'm well aware that he was being overly kind in writing that to " a woman of a certain age"--but it definitely made my night!. And an unexpected memory I will treasure forever

Whoa---stop me before I write any more!!

Hope all who are attending concerts during the rest of the tour have as much fun as I did!
