I really don't want to join the AT&T scandal, but I really wonder if anyone else noticed these things. My cellphone carrier is Sprint and my landline is through Optimum (Cablevision).... none of my call votes ever registered on either phone bill. When I called both companies they were unable to really answer my questions. They said that with voting it's likely that even though you are making a call it actually passes through a "texting line". Well.... I guess I can accept that for my landline bill... however.... I don't accept it for my cell phone. Cell phones log all activity. Even though they are toll free numbers you are still using minutes. I have unlimited night and weekend minutes so I realize it wouldn't make a difference, but I'm sure some people do not... therefore they are basically charged minutes for all calls made. It doesn't make sense that cell phone carriers would allow these to go untraced. Really makes me wonder about the validity of voting.
The other odd thing is that most nights (other than the finale... that night I couldn't get through until the last hour) after the first 15 minutes my landline would go through almost every time. However my cell phone would only get through 1 in every 40 to 50 calls. Why would it matter which phone I used?
I truly don't believe that Adam lost fairly. It is a statistical anomally. No matter what time of day or night I check this fan site the least amount of fans I found online was just under 400 (this was after 1:30am). However, just for fun I check Kris' site. The most I ever found online was 132. Usually there are between 60 and 90 fans online. When I last checked Zabasearch to see the messages people were leaving Adam had just under 5000 and Kris had less than 2000. And checkout Itunes.... compare the ratings and comments.... Adam (last I checked over a week ago) had far more ratings. And then when I read online articles there are always tons of comments (most positive, however some people are ignorant a**es) about Adam. It certainly seems that his fan base is a lot larger than Kris'.
