Adam's doing AWESOME!!!!! For a newbie in the business he's doing INCREDIBLE!!!
Like perhaps it helps to look to other metrics to define success because like Adam's selling 2 different versions of his album and the Deluxe Edition is really expensive, relatively speaking. So like a #10 with a Deluxe Edition (AND a basic edition also on sale that's charting separately on it's own) - that's got to be equivalent to like a #3 or 4 ranking, you know what I'm saying.
Like in terms of how much revenue Adam's bringing in, for ever 2 albums Adam sells Jason Mraz has to sell like 3 to gross the equivalent - hence Adam from that perspective is AHEAD! YAY!
PS I just realized 50 Cent is selling an album with 20 items for $9.99 . . . I guess that means each if his songs costs 50 cents - that's just too cute for a guy that's trying so hard to look fierce LOL
Well, to be fair......Perez has had Adam's music on his site as well. I like Jason, but of course I'm baised right now concerning Adam. LOL
Don't worry about this. Adam's album hasn't been released yet and no one has heard the songs yet. And hardly anyone has heard the single either. Hopefully it will get more airplay now that his pre-order sales have been so high. I don't know how that works. I do know other singles from the album will be released and played and may catch on to bring in more to purchase his album
His AMA performance is coming up just before the album is released and it is very very important! The impression he makes with his live performance of FYE on the show could attract many many more to his music and to buy the single and/or album.
So be patient. It hit #1 on the iTunes Pop chart in just 10 hours and that can't be just us buying extra copies. Word will spread. He'll get to #1 again.

I like Jason Mraz's music but Adam deserves to be ahead of him.
Aww man!! Jason Mraz is kind of a boring singer. Sounds exactly like John Mayer in my opinion. And his song "I'm Yours" is way too overplayed. JMO.
