K,you are priceless. 70 birds!!!! Now that is a commitment. Aviary in the K house. Scandal came late last year and had 6-7 episodes. It was a meh hit, not really caught on. But, this season, it started to build and then went off the charts. Most, and I mean millions most,just discovered it in the last few months. So most of us had to Netflix and ITunes to catch up. This season we had 22episodes, so you have 29 in all. I caught up, as did Ellen and Portia, Roland Martin, Donna Brazille, and Anderson Cooper in one very looong weekend. Lol. Insane.

Home now! Loooong day/night getting here, but happy to be home. I have to leave on Monday for work and won't be back till late Wednesday, but that is just 2 nights and I can pull that off.

I cannot stop watching the duet. I think it is one of he best duets I have heard. So pure and simple. Great harmonies, great connection, just astounding. And, Lordy,everyone is buzzing about it. So glad for him. I also caught the Mad Word on you tube this morning from China. Loved that also. This is going to be a nice lead into some great concerts in PA and Cali. Happy, happy. And thrilled he is back in the studio. My prediction is a single will emerge in the next 4 months. Just saying.

Also Adam said he was going to NYC to see some shows in the next few weeks. Well,we know he will be seeing Kinky Boots, cause he is friends with Cindi L. I have this fantasy that he would be there the night I am there in June and would be sitting next to me. Could happen right? We got house seats through our cousin who is tight with the producers and of course Adam would have house seats. But, he probably will be in NYC closer to his PA date, and that would be the week after our trip. Oh well. Or, maybe he is going to the Tonys? That would be a great surprise. And Cindi is up for a ton of them so how perfect. All good musings.

I can't comment on the AI snub except to say it is par for the course on that show. But, as Fink said, the clips on him the week before were very supportive. And when they show clips of winners they always have Adam and "what's his name," together. And, final statement on this the crowd LOVEDLOVED him.

SYTYCD started. Yahoo. I loved it last week. So great seeing Twitch as a judge in the auditions. He is wonderful. Ohio, girl, I know you are watching.

Scandal finale was crazy. I was a bit sad to see the steamy affair over for a bit, but lots of new things for next season. And, the twitter fanfare was great. You just would not believe the A listers and particularly newspeople, who are obsessed with this show and love to tweet to the cast. I promise you peeps who will catch up on ITunes or Netflix, you will not be disappointed.

Final statement, so damned many tragedies going on around the world, people to worry about, and places that are unsafe when they shouldn't be. Heart breaks for all of them. Morning, I cry for you.

Oh, forgot, Tonzey, we walked around the property this morning and counted 6 bird's nests in our new trees, and 4 in old nests. Lots of babies here. So fun.

Well long time no visit. How are you guys? I just wanted to see what you thought of the Idol performance and have been reading through. I agree that Adam should have been introduced better - I think the sudden appearance of JJ threw a spanner in the works a bit. He was very gracious and giving as always. Would have loved more but it wasn't his night. As was said, it was an honour for him to be asked to perform as only he and Jennifer H were present.

Regarding Mariah Carey - she will definitely know Adam since they both performed at F1 here in Singapore in 2010 - he on the Sat night and she on the same stage the next night. He was far better received for the record.

Yes, disappointed to see that Adam didn't get a big intro and for such a shortened version of a really beautiful song, especially hearing him hit those sweet notes, breathless! He could have run off the charts with it, but as all have said, he was his usual gracious self (as with Alison I. so long ago), and let Angie have her moment. Kudos to her though, for keeping eye contact with Adam and making it a true duet..something he should do more of. I am so upset over it, and I usually keep that kind of thing to myself rather than post my anger and hurt. But tonight I'm having a problem letting go.

Adam's voice was stellar and as always, he was professional as a performer and gracious as a person...he could have sung the pants off Angie but he didn't...he harmonized with her like an angel...he let her shine. The rest of the show appeared dim to me in comparison (I might be slightly prejudiced). I did notice the lack of introduction by Ryan (maybe because it was supposed to be a surprise?) and it seemed that Adam was more or less shoved to the side and treated like an ignored step child once Jesse J was announced. When Ryan was talking to Angie afterward, it was all about Jesse J., "how did you like performing with her?, etc...leaving Adam just standing there. But from what I've read on twitter and various blogs, editorials, etc...Titanium is the most mentioned and complimented performance of the entire evening...so our boy definitely didn't go unnoticed.

@Morning, regarding the hateful comments you received for your homage to Misty, remember this...when someone is nasty or treats you poorly, don't take it personally. It says northing about you but a lot about them. You wrote a beautiful tribute to your beloved pet and companion...let no one try to tell you otherwise.

Agree, Adam will always be a generous person and Angie has a very nice voice. I still think Adam was treated rudely in the end. He would never say it, I will.

Is Adam on tonight? I tried to watch finalists last night, but after Adam my standards are very high, not just for talent, but also confidence, song choices, etc. You don't wow me, I'm gone. Voice had a couple really good performances this week. Was disapointed in the gravel voiced 17 yr. old. Have enjoyed all of his til now. Off to fix supper. Will try to get back this evening. hugs

I'm also preparing for the finale, I've just listened to Angie Miller's Set Me Free, not bad , but how incredibly influenced by Mikki
Ekko's Stay this song is!The same family of atmospheric songs, a repetitive, kind of monotonous ballad, a simple piano accompaniment, suited to become a...duet! If I am right , the song sung together with Adam could provide this young lady a very important start in a future career. But what a great disillusionment for me and for millions of Adam's fans, no Running, no Underneath , nor any other song from Trespassing...this finale could be the last opportunity to sing one of them , even in a duet, in front of such a huge audience.
What do you think, is there any resemblance between the 2 songs or not?

I think the thing I love about the whole scandal experience aside from brilliant writing and acting, is the African American women who finally have a beautiful,talented, articulate and politically active role model to follow. These Gladiators on twitter are as passionate as any Glambert and she is so gracious and giving back to them. She tweets constantly and they absolutely adore her. As does the rest of the cast. And funny! O MG, this group is priceless. I only lurk, but I just love their silly energy.
